Hochhaus Neue Donau

The DC Tower 3 (German: DC Turm 3) is a high-rise residential building in the Donau City district of Vienna, Austria. Built between 2019 and 2022, the tower stands at 109.4 m (359 ft) tall with 34 floors and is the current 17th tallest building in Austria.

Tech Gate Vienna is a science and technology park in the City of Vienna, Austria, situated in the 22nd district Donaustadt. It was built between 1999 and 2005 following the plans from architects Wilhelm Holzbauer and Sepp Frank in an area called Donau City. Tech Gate Vienna consists of two buildings. The first, 26 meter high building was completed in 2001 and has 7 floors, with a total of 36,000 square meters of room. The second building was built from 2004 to 2005 and is 75 meters high with 18,000 square meters of room on 19 floors. Aside many companies and start-ups, several technology labs are situated in Tech Gate Vienna buildings, such as the Austrian Institute of Technology, the Telecommunications Research Center Vienna (FTW), and the VRVis Research Center. Four attractive stages are utilized for a variety of technology affine events.

Station Kaisermühlen – Vienna International Centre is a station on U1 of the Vienna U-Bahn. It is located in the Donaustadt District next to the Vienna International Centre. It opened in 1982.

The Donau City Church (German: Donaucitykirche), known more formally by its dedication as Christus, Hoffnung der Welt ("Christ, Hope of the World") is a Roman Catholic parish church in Vienna's 22nd district (Donau City or Donaustadt). The church is located next to the Vienna International Centre. Its architect is Heinz Tesar.

Via Donau (sometimes stylized as viadonau) is a subsidiary of the Austrian Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology (BMVIT) tasked with the preservation and development of the Danube waterway. It was established in 2005.

The Andromeda Tower (German: Andromeda Turm) is a high-rise residential building in the Donaustadt district of Vienna, Austria. Built between 1996 and 1998, the tower stands at 113 m (371 ft) by antenna spire (103.5 ft (31.5 m) by roof) with 29 floors and is the current 20th tallest building in Austria.

The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC; French: Office des Nations unies contre la drogue et le crime) is a United Nations office that was established in 1997 as the Office for Drug Control and Crime Prevention by combining the United Nations International Drug Control Program (UNDCP) and the Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice Division in the United Nations Office at Vienna, adopting the current name in 2002. The agency's focus is the trafficking and abuse of illicit drugs, crime prevention and criminal justice, international terrorism, and political corruption. It is a member of the United Nations Development Group. In 2016–2017 it had an estimated biannual budget of US$700 million.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is an intergovernmental organization that seeks to promote the peaceful use of nuclear energy and to inhibit its use for any military purpose, including nuclear weapons. It was established in 1957 as an autonomous organization within the United Nations system; though governed by its own founding treaty, the organization reports to both the General Assembly and the Security Council of the United Nations, and is headquartered at the UN Office at Vienna, Austria. The IAEA was created in response to growing international concern toward nuclear weapons, especially amid rising tensions between the foremost nuclear powers, the United States and the Soviet Union. U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower's "Atoms for Peace" speech, which called for the creation of an international organization to monitor the global proliferation of nuclear resources and technology, is credited with catalyzing the formation of the IAEA, whose treaty came into force on 29 July 1957 upon U.S. ratification. The IAEA serves as an intergovernmental forum for scientific and technical cooperation on the peaceful use of nuclear technology and nuclear power worldwide. It maintains several programs that encourage the development of peaceful applications of nuclear energy, science, and technology; provide international safeguards against misuse of nuclear technology and nuclear materials; and promote and implement nuclear safety (including radiation protection) and nuclear security standards. The organization also conducts research in nuclear science and provides technical support and training in nuclear technology to countries worldwide, particularly in the developing world.Following the ratification of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons in 1968, all non-nuclear powers are required to negotiate a safeguards agreement with the IAEA, which is given the authority to monitor nuclear programs and to inspect nuclear facilities. In 2005, the IAEA and its administrative head, Director General Mohamed ElBaradei, were awarded the Nobel Peace Prize "for their efforts to prevent nuclear energy from being used for military purposes and to ensure that nuclear energy for peaceful purposes is used in the safest possible way".

DC Towers (also known as Donau City Towers) refers to a construction project in Vienna's District Donaustadt. The towers are designed by French architect Dominique Perrault.

Donau City, or Vienna DC, is a new part of Vienna's 22nd District Donaustadt, next to both the Reichsbrücke and the left bank of the Danube's 21.1 km new channel, Neue Donau. Construction work for the first building on this site, the Andromeda Tower, started in 1996.

Scholars Pavilion or Scholars Chartagi is a monument donated by the nation of Iran to the United Nations Office at Vienna. The monument architecture is Persian Achaemenid architecture, with Persian columns and other features from Persepolis and other remains from the Achaemenids. The Chahartaq pavilion form runs through Iranian architecture from pre-Islamic times to the present. Statues of Central Asian medieval scholars, Omar Khayyam, Al-Biruni, Rhazes and Avicenna (Ibn-e-Sina or Pour Sina) are inside the pavilion. This monument donated in June 2009 in occasion of Iran's peaceful developments in science. This monument was designed by Alireza Nazem Alroaya and constructed by Sadeh Architecture City Construction.

The Preparatory Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization, or CTBTO Preparatory Commission; is an international organization based in Vienna, Austria, that is tasked with building up the verification regime of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO). The organization was established by the States Signatories to the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT) in 1996. Its main purpose is twofold: to promote the entry into force of the CTBT, and to establish a global verification regime in preparation for the Treaty's entry into force.As the CTBTO Preparatory Commission is an interim organization, it will be dissolved once the CTBT enters into force and will be replaced by the CTBTO, with all its assets being transferred to the CTBTO. This change will occur at the close of the first Conference of States Parties of the CTBT, which will take place when the Treaty has entered into force. For the Treaty to enter into force, the following states need to ratify the CTBT: China, North Korea, Egypt, India, Iran, Israel, Pakistan, and the United States. Entry into force will occur 180 days after these states ratify the Treaty.
