Turku Airport (IATA: TKU, ICAO: EFTU), is located in Turku, Finland, 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) north of the center, in Lentokenttä (Finnish for 'airfield'; Swedish: Flygfältet) district in the Maaria-Paattinen ward of Turku. It serves approximately 450,000 passengers per year, being the fourth busiest airport in Finland by the number of passengers (in 2019) and second busiest airport by the amount of cargo tonnes (in 2012). Turku Airport is exclusively operated by the state-owned company Finavia. Among normal operation the airport offers differentiated service specifically designed for low-cost airlines since 2008. Turku Airport and its surroundings are marketed as LogiCity in hopes to attract logistic companies and manufacturers near the airport.

Mylly (lit. mill) is a shopping centre in Raisio, Finland. The shopping centre has bit over a hundred shops, banks, and other services on an area of around 83,000 square metres (890,000 sq ft), and is as such the largest shopping centre in the Turku region and fourth largest in Finland outside the Helsinki region. Mylly was opened in October 2001 and in 2008 the annual sales was 167 million euros. The shopping centre was expanded in 2016, adding an additional section containing a number of businesses.

Runosmäki (Swedish Runosbacken) is a district and a suburb of the city of Turku, Finland, located approximately six kilometres to the north of the city centre. It is the largest district in the city, with a population of 10,296 (as of 2004). However, the area of the district also includes the nearby suburb of Länsinummi in addition to Runosmäki proper, which has a population of about 8,200 and thus it is only the second-largest suburb of Turku, after Varissuo. The district's annual population growth is 0.42%. 13.42% of its population is aged under 15, while 16.78% are over 65 years old. About ten percent of the population are aged between 50 and 54, and Runosmäki has one of the highest median ages in Turku. The district's linguistic makeup is 91.82% Finnish, 1.60% Swedish, and 6.58% other. Runosmäki is mostly composed of apartment blocks built in the 1970s. The services in the suburb include several schools, a library, a health centre, sports facilities and an old people's home.

Teräsrautela is a district in the Kuninkoja ward of the city of Turku, in Finland. It is located to the west of the city, and is mainly a high-density residential suburb. The large Länsikeskus shopping centre is located in Teräsrautela. The current (as of 2004) population of Teräsrautela is 3,554, and it is increasing at an annual rate of 0.37%. 11.73% of the district's population are under 15 years old, while 20.17% are over 65. The district's linguistic makeup is 96.57% Finnish, 2.42% Swedish, and 1.01% other.

Mälikkälä is a district in the Kuninkoja ward of the city of Turku, in Finland. It is located to the west of the city, and is mainly a low-density residential suburb. The population of Mälikkälä (as of 2004) is 1,608, and it is decreasing at an annual rate of 0.50%. 15.49% of the district's population are under 15 years old, while 22.70% are over 65. The district's linguistic makeup is 95.52% Finnish, 3.79% Swedish, and 0.68% other.

Liên Tâm Monastery (previously Lotus Heart Temple) is a Buddhist monastery located in Moisio, Turku. It is the first Buddhist monastery inaugurated in Finland. The monastery is administered by the Vietnamese Buddhist Association of Finland. The association is one of the biggest Buddhist associations in Finland and follows Mahayana. Moreover, Pure Land Buddhism and Zen are practiced in the monastery.In 2010 during its construction the monastery fell victim to an attempted arson.

Ruohonpää is a district in the Kuninkoja ward of the city of Turku, in Finland. It is located to the west of the city, and is mainly a low-density residential suburb. The current (as of 2004) population of Ruohonpää is 2,375, and it is decreasing at an annual rate of 0.59%. 12.04% of the district's population are under 15 years old, while 25.89% are over 65. The district's linguistic makeup is 94.32% Finnish, 3.87% Swedish, and 1.81% other.

Church Builders Killi and Nalli is a public sculpture in Raisio, Finland. Created by the sculptor Harry Kivijärvi in red granite, it stands in the park area between Raisio City Hall and the Church of St. Martin.The sculpture, which stylistically depicts two humanlike figures, is based on a folk song for the kantele, according to which the giants Killi and Nalli built the church in Raisio.The sculpture is thus based on a local myth, that the giants built the church in Raisio 700 years ago.

Kaerla is a district in the Tampereentie ward of the city of Turku, in Finland. It is located to the north of the city centre, next to the densely built suburb of Runosmäki. Kaerla is mostly low-density residential area, but it also includes the area of Impivaara, with numerous sports and recreational facilities such as an ice hockey arena, an indoor football venue, the city's main swimming centre, as well as a tennis centre. The current (as of 2004) population of Kaerla is 2,182, and it is decreasing at an annual rate of 1.47%. 16.50% of the district's population are under 15 years old, while 17.74% are over 65. The district's linguistic makeup is 94.96% Finnish, 2.11% Swedish, and 2.93% other.

Vätti is a district of the city of Turku, in Finland. It is located to the north of the city centre. The area consists mostly of parkland, but there is also a high-density residential area in the district as well as some low-density developments. There is also an old people's home in Vätti. The current (as of 2004) population of Vätti is 2,990, and it is decreasing at an annual rate of 0.07%. 11.30% of the district's population are under 15 years old, while 30.60% are over 65. The district's linguistic makeup is 95.45% Finnish, 2.37% Swedish, and 2.17% other.

Raisio (Finnish: [ˈrɑi̯sio]; Swedish: Reso) is a town and municipality in south-western Finland and an important junction of major roads. The town has a population of 24,818 (31 December 2021) and is located in the region of Southwest Finland, neighbouring the region's capital, Turku. The town's land area is 48.76 km2 (18.83 sq mi), and has about 5 kilometres (3 mi) of coastline to the Bay of Raisio on its southern tip.

Pitkämäki (Finnish; Långbacka in Swedish) is a district of the city of Turku, in Finland. It is located in the southeast of the city, and consists of several residential suburbs and industrial area. Pitkämäki is the only district in Turku to be divided among three different wards: the industrial area belongs to the City Centre ward, the high-density residential area of Suikkila to Kuninkoja, and the low-density residential area of Muhkuri to Naantalintie. The current (as of 2004) population of Pitkämäki is 2,886, and it is decreasing at an annual rate of 0.28%. 13.17% of the district's population are under 15 years old, while 23.11% are over 65. The district's linguistic makeup is 93.66% Finnish, 5.02% Swedish, and 1.32% other.
