Trški Vrh is a village near Krapina, in Krapina-Zagorje County, Croatia. In the 2011 census, population of the village was 399 inhabitants. Of note is one of Croatia's finest baroque churches dated to 1761 and dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary of Jerusalem.

Krapina Neanderthal site, also known as Hušnjakovo Hill (Croatian: Hušnjakovo brdo) is a Paleolithic archaeological site located near Krapina, Croatia. At the turn of the 20th century, Dragutin Gorjanović-Kramberger recovered faunal remains as well as stone tools and human remains at the site. Krapina represents the largest known recovery of the human skeletal remains from any Upper Pleistocene site.

Lake Trakošćan (Croatian: Trakošćansko jezero) is an artificial lake located in Trakošćan, Hrvatsko Zagorje, Croatia. The lake measures about 1.5 kilometres (1 mi) in length, and around 17 hectares (42 acres) in area. Its average depth is 2.5 metres (8 ft). The water reaches temperatures up to 28 °C (82 °F) in summer. The lake freezes over for three months during the winter. At its inception, the lake functioned as a fish pond, but retained its architectural importance to the present day.
