Regency Mall is an enclosed shopping mall outside of Richmond, Virginia in unincorporated Henrico County, Virginia, United States. Opened in 1975 as Regency Square, the mall features a food court and more than 60 tenants, currently with no anchors. Macy's, which had two locations at Regency Square, closed in spring 2016, Sears closed in summer 2017, and JCPenney closed in fall 2020. Forever 21 closed in early 2020 as part of that brand's restructuring plan.

Henrico County Public Library system serves the county of Henrico, Virginia. The library system is within Region 4 of the Virginia Library Association (VLA). Henrico County Public Library System has eleven locations. The library branches house over 600 computers for public usage.

Tuckahoe is a census-designated place (CDP) in Henrico County, Virginia, United States. It is an upper middle class suburb to the west of Richmond. The population of Tuckahoe was 44,990 at the 2010 census. It is named after the area's history as the site of Thomas Randolph's Tuckahoe Plantation which still stands along the James River.

Douglas S. Freeman High School is a public high school located in the West End of Henrico County, Virginia. It is operated by Henrico County Public Schools.

St. Mary's Catholic School is a JK-8 educational institution located in Richmond, Virginia, serving 425 students. The Early Childhood Development Center is dedicated to full day instruction of JK, Kindergarten and First Grade. Foreign Language is taught in all grades (JK-Grade 8). Other resource classes include Music, Fine Arts, Health/PE, Technology and Library Sciences. The school is home to the only Catholic IB Middle Years Programme in Central Virginia. Saint Mary's currently offers five high school credit courses. These courses include Algebra I, Geometry, Foreign Language (Spanish I or French I), World History and Earth Science. St. Mary's Parish built a new church which opened in 2007. The church seats 1000 people comfortably. The school has undergone two major facility renovations in 2018 and 2022. A needlepoint bipolar ionization system was installed in all air handling units in both the church and school buildings in 2020.

The West End is a part of Richmond, Virginia. Definitions of the bounds of the West End vary, it may include only the western part of the city of Richmond or extend as far as western Henrico County. As there is no one municipal organization that represents this specific region, the boundaries are loosely defined as being north of the James River, west of I-195, and south of Broad Street. Historically, the Richmond neighborhoods of the Fan and the Museum District were a part of the West End. A primary conduit through the West End is Interstate 64.

Deep Run Park is a public park located in western Henrico County, Virginia at the northwest corner of Gaskins Road and Ridgefield Parkway. Henrico County acquired an initial 52.045 acres of land for the park in 1978 and an additional 108.767 acres in 1979, although the park was not opened for public use until 1987. An additional 3.98 acres of land was acquired in 2004, increasing the total size of the park to 164.792 acres. Collegiate School is a preparatory school for boys and girls located in Richmond, Virginia. The student body of Collegiate comprises about 1,600 total students from Junior Kindergarten through 12th Grade. The Lower School and Upper School are coeducational and the Middle School is coordinated with boys and girls in separate classes.

St. Mary's Hospital is a private, non-for-profit hospital in the west end of Richmond, Virginia. It is a 391-bed hospital and serves the Central Virginia community and beyond. St. Mary's is affiliated with the Bon Secours Richmond Health System and the Sisters of Bon Secours.

John Randolph Tucker High School is a public high school in the West End of Henrico County, Virginia, United States. It is named after lawyer and judge John Randolph Tucker. Its students and faculty often refer to themselves as “Tigers," and locals often refer to the school as "Tucker." The school had approximately 1,600 students and more than 150 faculty members during the 2014-15 school year. The school attracts students from across Henrico County to participate in its International Baccalaureate Programme, Advance College Academy, and Center for Spanish Language and Global Citizenship (Immersion). A new J.R. Tucker High School, similar to Glen Allen High School, was built on the location of the former athletic fields and opened for the 2021-22 school year. The old school buildings were demolished and athletic fields built in their place.

Mills Edwin Godwin High School is a public high school located in the West End region of unincorporated Henrico County, Virginia. The school is operated by Henrico County Public Schools. Godwin High School opened in 1981, named in honor of Mills E. Godwin Jr. (1914–1999), the two-term governor of Virginia. There are close to 2,000 students in the student body.

Westham was an unincorporated town in Henrico County, Virginia. It is located in the present day area of Tuckahoe, Virginia. Westham was built at a transportation point on the James River. The James River flows free for several hundred miles from the west and Westham is located at the point where the Fall Line rocks prevented further river passage. Richmond, Virginia was built on the other side of the fall line where the river is navigable to the ocean. This made Westham the first destination for iron used in Revolutionary War. In later years, Canals and then Rail transport connected Westham to Richmond along the James River trade route. Westham was eventually absorbed into Richmond.
