Kasi Viswanatha Temple is a Hindu temple in Chennai, India. Located at Konnur high road, Ayanavaram, the temple was constructed by the Tawker clan of Madras' Gujarati community and was constructed during the time of the East India Company. The temple is situated close to the Medavakkam Tank Road and adjoining the Ayanavaram Bus Depot.This temple is maintained under the control of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department of Government of Tamil Nadu.

Kilpauk is a semi residential area located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The distance from Chennai's city to Kilpauk is about 6 km. The region is situated off the Poonamallee High Road in the west. Adjacent areas of Kilpauk include Chetpet, Kellys, Egmore, Ayanavaram, Anna Nagar, Choolaimedu and Purasawalkam. The nearest railway station for Kilpauk is the one at Chetpet. This railway station lies to the south of Kilpauk and not more than a kilometre away. This place was a cantonment area for British troops before India's independence. Today this locality is known as "Little Korea" due to the Korean population residing in this area.The neighbourhood has a historical water-treatment plant. On the other end, to the west, is the Institute of Mental Health, one of the oldest mental asyla in the continent, visited by Elizabeth II.

Ainsley canal is a short canal located in Chennai. The canal starts near Villivakkam railway station and connects Otteri Nullah with railway quarters and Integral Coach Factory near Ayanavaram. It runs for a length of about 3.3 kilometres (2.1 mi). It has become highly polluted, with the residents of Pilkington Road, Vasantha Garden, Appathurai Main Road, Palayakaran Street and Madurai Street dumping wastes. The plight of the canal has not improved though the railways has desilted the canal in year 2006.

Kellys (Tamil: கெல்லீஸ்), is a sub locality of Kilpauk, and it is an important road junction in Central Chennai. Its too distinct to be addressed as a part of Kilpauk by the locals and hence they simply refer to the area as Kellys. It is proposed to implement phase II of Metro railway projects from Madhavaram to SIPCOT in Siruseri, which is corridor number 3. The route includes the areas of Madhavaram Milk Colony, Thapal petti, Murari Hospital, Moolakadai, Sembiyam, Perambur Market, Perambur Metro, Ayanavaram, Otteri, Pattalam, Perambur Barracks Road, Doveton Junction, Purasawakkam High Road and Kellys. From Kellys to Siruseri via. Chetpet, the route continues. In this corridor, comes Kellys, through which tunnelling works are to be carried out. For this, Tunnel Boring Machines from China, are to be used. The Metro railway projects are undertaken by L & T limited and to be completed by 52 months.

Otteri, is a developed residential area in Central Chennai, a metropolitan city in Tamil Nadu, India. Otteri is a part of Purasaiwakkam but is too distinct to be called hence locals simply refer it as Otteri.

Abirami Mega Mall was a shopping mall located in Purasawalkam, Chennai. It was constructed in 2003. Named after its owner Abirami Ramanathan, it was closed in 2019.

Perambur Carriage Works is a suburban railway station less than a kilometre from the Perambur railway station in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The station has an elevation of 7.16 m above sea level. Mainly POH and IOH of all type of passenger coaches are undertaken here. The railway department has many facilities around this station, including a school (Railway Mixed Higher Secondary School), and an indoor sporting facility (Railway Stadium).
