Drenovec (pronounced [ˈdɾeːnɔʋəts]) is a small settlement in the Municipality of Zavrč in the Haloze area of eastern Slovenia. It lies in the hills in the southeastern extremes of the municipality, right on the border with Croatia. The area is part of the traditional region of Styria. It is now included in the Drava Statistical Region.

Opeka Manor (also known as Bombelles Manor) is a castle in the Vinica municipality, Varaždin County, northern Croatia. Located in the surrounding park with a large arboretum, the manor is situated below the Macelj forest in the northern part of Hrvatsko Zagorje historic region. It was founded in the 17th century by the Counts of Keglević and later owned by the Counts of Nadasdy, then Drašković and finally Bombelles (until 1945). Today the manor is weathered and longs for renewal.

Opeka Arboretum is situated in the Vinica municipality, northern Croatia. Located in a large park surrounding a manor, Opeka arboretum, with its 65 hectares, is the largest of the three arboreta existing today in Croatia (the others are Trsteno in southern Dalmatia and Lisičine near Voćin in western Slavonia). The arboretum was founded in 1860 by the Count Marko Bombelles, who travelled a lot all over the world and brought back various exotic seeds and plants from his travels, expanding his garden and park all the time with exceptional care. The Opeka estate remained the ownership of Bombelles family until 1945. The arboretum passed into Yugoslav state ownership in 1945 and was declared a natural rarity in 1947. Today it has been managed by the local Agricultural and veterinary school.

Turški Vrh (pronounced [ˈtuːɾʃki ˈʋəɾx], German: Türkenberg) is a settlement in the Municipality of Zavrč in the Haloze area of eastern Slovenia. The area traditionally belonged to the Styria region. It is now included in the Drava Statistical Region.

Bajnski Dvori Castle is a castle in the Gornje Ladanje village, Vinica municipality, Varaždin County, northern Croatia. Located in the surrounding park, near a small lake and a chapel, the castle represents a valuable example of architectural skill and historical heritage. It was founded in the 17th century by the members of Both of Bayna, a noble family of Hungarian ancestry, who gave two Bans of Croatia, John (Croatian: Ivan) in 1493 and Andrew (Croatian: Andrija) in 1505–1507. Later it was owned by the members of the families Batthyány, Erdödy and Feštetić. In the 19th century the castle was enlarged and renewed in the spirit of historicism, but in the turbulent times of the First world war it was set on fire and partially ruined. Many works of art, books, furniture and other precious things of high value were destroyed. Until today, only the eastern wing of the castle remained. After the Second world war, until the beginning of this century, there were departments and medical facilities of Varaždin Medical centre there. Today the castle and surroundings are weathered and long for renewal.

Cvetkovci (pronounced [tsʋɛˈtkoːu̯tsi], German: Zwetkofzen) is a village in the Municipality of Ormož northeastern Slovenia. The area traditionally belonged to the Styria region and is now included in the Drava Statistical Region. The area is also known as Prlekija. The earliest mention of the village is in written documents dating to 1320, when it was called Maierhof. Remains of a Roman settlement on the merchant road from Poetovio to Savaria were found in the southern part of the village during construction excavations monitored by archaeologists in 1995 and 1997. Cvetkovci lies on both sides of regional road from Ptuj to Ormož and borders on the villages of Osluševci, Podgorci, and Trgovišče. To the south is the border with Croatia. The Pesnica and Drava rivers flow eastwards just south of the settlement. The village itself is divided into five hamlets: Zgornje Cvetkovci, Spodnje Cvetkovci, Trnje, Dobrava, and Otok. The main activity in which the locals are involved is agriculture, with fields on northern side of the village and some agricultural land also to the south. Farmers are involved in cattle breeding and poultry farming. Recently vegetable growing and horse breeding have also become popular. Locals also work in nearby towns such as Ormož, Ptuj, and Maribor.
