Three Tuns (also Three Tons) is an unincorporated community located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States. The community is in Upper Dublin Township, 2 miles (3.2 km) northeast of the Borough of Ambler and 3 miles (4.8 km) west of Horsham. Three Tuns is located at the intersection of Butler Pike and Norristown Road, approximately .45 miles (0.72 km) southwest of Butler Pike's intersection with Pennsylvania Route 63 and approximately .53 miles (0.85 km) west of Norristown Road's intersection with Limekiln Pike. Bean's 1884 History of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania describes Three Tuns as follows: The village of Three Tons is situated in a fine fertile section of country, at the intersection of Norristown Rd and Butler Pike, the latter being turnpiked to Ambler, two and a half miles distant. It contains a store, hotel, school-house, several mechanic shops and five or six houses. The post-office was established here in 1858; T. G. Torbert, postmaster. The Union Library of Upper Dublin is kept here, over the store of E. T. Comly, and now contains about two thousand volumes. It was incorporated May 25, 1840; E. T. Comly, treasurer, and Ellie Teas, secretary and librarian. The Upper Dublin Horse Company, organized many years ago, holds its annual meetings here. Recent researches establish the fact that before 1722 a well traveled path led from Edward Farmar's mill, in Whitemarsh, through this place, to Richard Saunders' ferry, on the Neshaminy (now the village of Bridge Point, three miles south of Doylestown).

Temple University Ambler is a suburban campus of Temple University. The Ambler campus is located 30 minutes outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. While its postal address is in Ambler, Pennsylvania, it is actually in Upper Dublin Township. It has 2,950 undergraduate and 962 graduate students, with a 3:4 male/female ratio (60% female). The campus is 187 acres (0.76 km2), including the Landscape Arboretum, and includes two residence halls. On campus, there are 30 student organizations. The campus offers 21 bachelor's degree programs—8 majors and 13 minors—as well as one associate degree program.

Talamore Country Club is an 18-hole private golf course located in Ambler, Pennsylvania, approximately 20 miles northwest of Philadelphia. Opened in 1995, the course was designed by owner Bob Levy and Architect Rees Jones and is part of the Talamore Family of Clubs. It is known for its "low country" design, featuring expansive wetlands and sod-faced bunkers, which provide a distinctive aesthetic in the Pennsylvania region.

The Pennsylvania School of Horticulture for Women was one of the first horticultural schools to be established by and for women in the United States, opening on February 10, 1911. As the second institution to provide women with a practical education in horticulture and landscape architecture, it made possible their entry into a professional field. Although some men were employed in faculty positions, the school's leadership was intentionally female. As of 1919, the board of trustees consisted of twenty-five prominent women citizens.: 134  All but the last director of the school were women.The school played a "unique role" in women's history and garden history. Members of the school were instrumental in the establishment of the Garden Club of America (1913), the Woman's National Agricultural and Horticultural Association (1914), the Woman's Land Army of America (1917),: 134–135  and the publication of the Farmer's Digest. It served as a national and international model for other institutions, such as the Keisien School in Japan.In 1958, the school merged with Temple University Ambler and became co-educational.

Skip Wilson Field is a baseball stadium in Ambler, Pennsylvania. It is the home field of the Arcadia University baseball team which moved to the ballfield in 2018.

The Upper Dublin Friends Meeting House is a Quaker meeting house located at the intersection of Fort Washington Avenue and Meetinghouse Roads in Upper Dublin Township, Pennsylvania in the United States. The building was constructed in 1814 on land donated by local resident Phebe Shoemaker. The graveyard of nearly one acre contains the graves of many of the township's most notable early families. Bean's 1884 History of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania makes mention of the horse-block (a step for mounting or dismounting from a horse) that can still be seen at the Meeting House: "About twenty yards from the front-door is a horse-block, of stone, consisting of five steps to the top, four and a half feet from the ground and three and a half feet wide, now so rare as to become an object of interest to the antiquary."The Upper Dublin Friends Meeting is a thriving congregation, with Meeting for Worship every Sunday at 10 a.m., and is part of the Abington Quarterly Meeting of the Philadelphia Yearly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends.

Jacob Kastner Loghouse is a historic home located at Spring House in Lower Gwynedd Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. The log house was built about 1712 to 1754, and is a 1+1⁄2-story, English single pen plan dwelling. It measures approximately 15 feet wide and 16 feet, 6 inches, deep and has a stone cellar. The house is covered with board and batten siding and has a purlin roof. Also on the property is a contributing well.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.

Benjamin Obdyke Incorporated is a building materials manufacturer based in the Philadelphia suburb of Horsham, Pennsylvania. The company was started by its namesake, Benjamin P. Obdyke in 1868. Benjamin P. Obdyke is credited with creating and manufacturing the first corrugated downspout while the company itself claims patents on three products that have been integral in the advancement of building practices over the past 20 years: Roll Vent the first rolled ridge vent, Cedar Breather the first wood roofing underlayment, and Home Slicker the first rolled product to provide drainage and air flow in rainscreen wall assemblies. While the company’s origins are closely tied to the metal gutters and downspouts business, Benjamin Obdyke sold off that part of their business in the late nineties and now exclusively sells roof and wall products that help improve the building envelope, most of which feature the company’s patented matrix technology.

Horsham Township is a home rule municipality in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. It is located ten miles north of Center City Philadelphia. The township, incorporated in 1717, is one of the oldest original municipalities in Montgomery County. Although it retains the word "Township" in its official name, it has been governed by a Home Rule Charter since 1975 and is therefore not subject to the Pennsylvania Township Code. The population was 26,564 at the time of the 2020 census.
