Largo São Bento

Mosteiro de São Bento (in English: St Benedict's Monastery) is a church located in São Paulo, Brazil. Established on 14 July 1598, the current church was built between 1910 and 1914.

São Bento is a metro station on São Paulo Metro Line 1-Blue, located in the district of Sé, in São Paulo. The station was opened on 26 September 1975. It will be connected, in the future, according to the State Secretariat of Metropolitan Transports of São Paulo, with Line 19-Sky Blue (Anhangabaú↔Bosque Maia).

The School of Philosophy of São Bento (Portuguese: Faculdade de São Bento) was Brazil's first Philosophy school. It is located in Largo São Bento, in the center of São Paulo, next to the Monastery of Saint Benedict, which dates back to 1598.Founded in 1908, it was incorporated by PUC-SP (Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo) in 1946 and returned to its activities with a new Philosophy degree program in 2002. It was initially attached to the University of Louvain, which sent professors such as Monsignor Carlos Sentroul and Leonardo Van Acker. In 2008, the School of Philosophy of São Bento celebrated its 100th anniversary and launched its Master's course in Philosophy.

Rua 25 de Março or Rua Vinte e Cinco de Março (in English: March 25th Street) is a popular shopping street in the central zone of São Paulo, Brazil. The district surrounding Rua 25 de Março has long been synonymous in Brazil with large crowds and discount shopping.

The Altino Arantes Building (Portuguese: Edifício Altino Arantes), also known as the Banespa Building (in Portuguese: Edifício do Banespa), and most popularly by Banespão (big Banespa) is an important Art deco skyscraper located in São Paulo, Brazil.

Antônio Prado Square (Portuguese: Praça Antônio Prado), formerly known as Largo do Rosário, is located in the Sé district of the Brazilian city of São Paulo. São Bento, João Brícola and Quinze de Novembro streets intersect at the square.

The Martinelli Building (in Portuguese: Edifício Martinelli), with 28 floors, is the first skyscraper built in Brazil. Located in São Paulo, it is 105 meters tall. The building was planned in 1922 by the Italian-born entrepreneur, Giuseppe Martinelli. Construction began in 1924, and was completed in 1929. At the time of its opening, it was the tallest building in Latin America, and the largest concrete-framed building in the world.The building was completely remodeled by Mayor Olavo Setúbal from 1975 to 1979. Today, the building houses the Departments of Municipal Housing and planning, companies Emurb and Cohab-SP, the headquarters of the Association of Banks of SP, and several shops on the ground floor of the building.

Mirante do Vale Building (Portuguese: Condomínio Mirante do Vale, loosely translated as Overlook of the Valley Condominium), commonly called Mirante do Vale, is a 170-metre (558 ft) office skyscraper located in São Paulo, Brazil, in the area of Downtown São Paulo and Vale do Anhangabaú. Constructed from 1959 to 1960, it is the tallest building in São Paulo, and it was also the tallest in Brazil until 2014 when it was surpassed by Millennium Palace in Balneário Camboriú, Santa Catarina.

B3 S.A. - Brasil, Bolsa, Balcão (in English, B3 - Brazil Stock Exchange and Over-the-Counter Market), formerly BM&FBOVESPA, is a stock exchange located in São Paulo, Brazil, and the second oldest of the country. At the end of 2011 it had a market capitalization of R$2.37 trillion, making it the 13th largest stock exchange in the world. However, owing to the slump in economic growth in Brazil associated with political problems, in addition to the strengthening of the United States dollar against the Brazilian real, the capitalization shrank to R$2.21 trillion by the end of 2015. Its current form can be traced back to May 8, 2008, when the São Paulo Stock Exchange (Bovespa) and the Brazilian Mercantile and Futures Exchange (BM&F) merged, creating BM&FBOVESPA. On March 30, 2017, BM&FBOVESPA merged with CETIP, creating B3. The benchmark indicator of B3 is the Índice Bovespa, more commonly known as Ibovespa. There were 354 companies traded at Bovespa as of March 31, 2020.On June 7, 2021, the Ibovespa index reached its record market closing above 130,776 points.B3 also has offices in Rio de Janeiro, Shanghai, and London.

The Post Office Palace (Portuguese: Palácios dos Correios) is an eclectic building located in the Historic Center of São Paulo, in the Anhangabaú Valley, in the Brazilian city of São Paulo. The complex was designed by Ramos de Azevedo Technical Office to house the Central Post and Telegraph Office and was inaugurated on October 20, 1922. It housed the Post Office's administrative activities until the 1970s, when the institution moved to Vila Leopoldina.In 2012, the building was listed as a historic site by the Department of Historical Heritage (DPH) during a process that covered the entire Anhangabaú Valley region. It is one of the most significant examples of early 20th century architecture in São Paulo. In 2013, the palace became home to the Post Office Cultural Center of São Paulo, which offers free exhibitions and other artistic events.

The São Paulo School of Dance (Portuguese: Escola de Dança de São Paulo - EDASP), also known as the São Paulo Municipal Theater Dance School (Escola de Dança do Theatro Municipal de São Paulo - EDTMSP) or the Municipal Ballet School (Escola Municipal de Bailado), is located in the Brazilian city of São Paulo. It is linked to the training center of the São Paulo Municipal Theater Foundation. Currently run by Cristiana de Souza, the school is based in Praça das Artes and caters to around 800 students. It is one of the most traditional dance schools in Brazil and has trained generations of artists.

The Santa Ifigênia Viaduct (Portuguese: Viaduto Santa Ifigênia) is located in the center of the Brazilian city of São Paulo. The route starts at Largo São Bento, next to the São Bento metro station, and finishes in front of the Church of St. Efigenia, connecting two of the city's historic landmarks. It is used exclusively by pedestrians. Designed by architect Giulio Micheli and developed by engineers Giuseppe Chiapori and Mário Tibiriçá, the structure was produced in Belgium and intended to improve the traffic and circulation of cars, carriages and streetcars crossing the Anhangabaú Valley during the 19th century. The viaduct was built between 1910 and 1913 and inaugurated on July 26, 1913, by Mayor Raymundo Duprat. Today, the Santa Ifigênia Viaduct crosses the Anhangabaú Valley and Prestes Maia Avenue and connects the old and new city centers. Designed in the Art Nouveau style, the place is one of São Paulo's main postcards. Between the Santa Ifigênia Viaduct and Duque de Caxias Street, there are several stores and small galleries selling different types of electronic products, such as computers, video games, cell phones, sound and lighting equipment and musical instruments.
