Elisabeta Palace (Romanian: Palatul Elisabeta) is a palace on Kiseleff Road in Bucharest, Romania. Built in 1936, it is the official residence in Romania of Margareta of Romania, her husband Prince Radu, and her sister Princess Maria. The Palace was designed in 1930 by the architect Duiliu Marcu and built in 1936 for Princess Elisabeth, the daughter of King Ferdinand I and his wife Queen Marie, and also the aunt of King Michael I, who was forced to abdicate on 30 December 1947. In 2001, the Romanian Senate passed a bill which states that the Palace would be awarded to the former king for use as a residence during his lifetime. Since then, members of the former Royal Family have been living there. Foreign heads of state, royalty and politicians are received there, as well as Romanian political, cultural, economic and academic figures when special events are conducted.

The Village Museum formally National Museum of the Village "Dimitrie Gusti" (Muzeul Național al Satului "Dimitrie Gusti" in Romanian) is an open-air ethnographic museum located in the King Michael I Park (Bucharest, Romania), showcasing traditional Romanian village life. The museum extends to over 100,000 m2, and contains 272 authentic peasant farms and houses from all over Romania. The village was a creation of the folklorist and sociologist Dimitrie Gusti. The location plans were executed by the writer, playwright, director Victor Ion Popa and set designer Henri H. Stahl. The necessary financial funds were provided by the Royal Cultural Foundation and in the presence of King Carol II of Romania the museum was inaugurated on May 10, 1936.

Șoseaua Kiseleff (Kiseleff Road) is a major road in Bucharest, Romania. Situated in Sector 1, the boulevard runs as a northward continuation of Calea Victoriei.

Arcul de Triumf is a triumphal arch located in the northern part of Bucharest, Romania, on the Kiseleff Road. The first, wooden, triumphal arch was built hurriedly, after Romania gained its independence (1878), so that the victorious troops could march under it. Another arch with concrete skeleton and plaster exterior of elaborate sculptures and decoration designed by Petre Antonescu was built on the same site after World War I in 1922. The arch exterior, which had seriously decayed, was replaced in 1935 by the current much more sober Neoclassical design, more closely modelled on the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. The new arch, also designed by Petre Antonescu and executed in stone, was inaugurated on 1 December 1936. The arch has a height of 27 metres. It has as its foundation a 25 x 11.50 metres rectangle. The sculptures with which the facades are decorated were created by famous Romanian sculptors such as Ion Jalea and Dimitrie Paciurea. Presently, military parades are held beneath the arch each 1 December, with the occasion of Romania's national holiday. Elisabeta Palace, the current residence of the Romanian Royal Family, is located near the Arch of Triumph, in Herăstrău Park.

Aviatorilor (Aviators′ in English) is a metro station in Bucharest. It is located at the end of Aviatorilor Boulevard, under Charles de Gaulle Square. It provides easy access to Herăstrău Park and the headquarters of the national television network, TVR. The station was opened on 24 October 1987 as part of the extension from Piața Unirii to Pipera. There are plans to add a permanent exhibition to the platform, celebrating the life of Romanian World War II fighter ace Captain Horia Agarici.

Bordei Park (Romanian: Parcul Bordei) is a park in Sector 1 of Bucharest, in the northern part of the city. The terrain where the Bordei Park stands (which included the Bordei Lake and amounted to 0.13 km²) was bought by the Bucharest Municipality from the Marmorosch Blank Bank in 1932 for a price of 16 million lei ($110,000 at the time). The park was officially opened in 1938 by King Carol II of Romania.In June 2007, senator Marius Marinescu forwarded to the Standing Bureau of the Senate a legislative proposal concerning the declaration of public property of Costică Constanda's plot of land, located in Bordei Park, Bucharest. Along with the founder of the law Marius Marinescu, signed as co-founders, senators Ion Iliescu, former president of Romania, Nicolae Văcăroiu, former prime-minister of Romania and at the time president of the Senate. One year later the legislative proposal was also adopted by the Chamber of Deputies, received the green light from the president of Romania, and got published in the Official Gazette of Romania, thus becoming Law #170/2008, regarding the acknowledgement of public utility of Bordei Park.The area of the park was public property until September 2003, when the General Council of Bucharest changed the status of the terrain to private property of the municipality and then gave the terrain to Costică Constanda, an entrepreneur who intends to build houses on it.

Stadionul Naţional de Rugby Arcul de Triumf (Triumphal Arch National Rugby Stadium) was a multi-purpose stadium in Bucharest, Romania. It was used mostly for rugby games and named after the triumphal arch in Bucharest. The stadium was demolished and replaced with the new Stadionul Arcul de Triumf. The stadium was steeped in Romanian rugby history. It was located on the former site of the Federaţiei playing fields, where the sport was introduced to the country in the early 20th century.Between 2008 and 2013, the stadium was renovated and expanded to 7,500 seats with the help of Sector's 1 City Hall.

Stadionul Naţional de Rugby Arcul de Triumf (Triumphal Arch National Rugby Stadium) is a multi-purpose stadium in Bucharest, Romania. Being constructed on the site of the former stadium, it will host major rugby matches including home matches of the Romania national rugby union team. It will also host games at the 2021 UEFA European Under-19 Championship.It is named after the nearby triumphal arch in Bucharest. Austria, France and Ukraine's squads were based at the stadium during preparation for and between matches at UEFA Euro 2020.The first sporting event held at the stadium was on 3 July 2021 when a rugby union crowd of 4,400 watched the summer internationals header, featuring Romania v Argentina and ended with a 17-24 loss.

Charles de Gaulle Square (Romanian: Piața Charles de Gaulle) is a square in northern Bucharest, Romania. It lies at the intersection of Aviatorilor, Constantin Prezan and Primăverii Boulevards, and Calea Dorobanților. In the centre of the square stands Paul Neagu's Crucea Mileniului (Millennium Cross), built in the 1990s. In September 2006, on the occasion of the Francophonie Summit held in Bucharest, a statue of Charles de Gaulle was unveiled. Sculpted by Mircea Spătaru, it is 4.6 m (15 ft) high and was financed by the government.During the Communist period of Romania, the square hosted parades in honor of the Revolution of 23 August 1944.

Cașin Church (Romanian: Biserica Cașin), sometimes referred to as Cașin Monastery (Mănăstirea Cașin), is a Romanian Orthodox church located in Bucharest, at a large intersection a block away from Arcul de Triumf. It is dedicated to the Archangels Michael and Gabriel.
