Bordei Park (Romanian: Parcul Bordei) is a park in Sector 1 of Bucharest, in the northern part of the city. The terrain where the Bordei Park stands (which included the Bordei Lake and amounted to 0.13 km²) was bought by the Bucharest Municipality from the Marmorosch Blank Bank in 1932 for a price of 16 million lei ($110,000 at the time). The park was officially opened in 1938 by King Carol II of Romania.In June 2007, senator Marius Marinescu forwarded to the Standing Bureau of the Senate a legislative proposal concerning the declaration of public property of Costică Constanda's plot of land, located in Bordei Park, Bucharest. Along with the founder of the law Marius Marinescu, signed as co-founders, senators Ion Iliescu, former president of Romania, Nicolae Văcăroiu, former prime-minister of Romania and at the time president of the Senate. One year later the legislative proposal was also adopted by the Chamber of Deputies, received the green light from the president of Romania, and got published in the Official Gazette of Romania, thus becoming Law #170/2008, regarding the acknowledgement of public utility of Bordei Park.The area of the park was public property until September 2003, when the General Council of Bucharest changed the status of the terrain to private property of the municipality and then gave the terrain to Costică Constanda, an entrepreneur who intends to build houses on it.

Aviației is a district divided between Sector 1 and Sector 2 of Bucharest, mainly in Sector 1. The name refers to aircraft or airforces. The names of aviation pioneers Traian Vuia, Aurel Vlaicu, and Henri Coandă are related to the name of the district. In the 2000s, the area has become increasingly upmarket, due to the construction of various luxury apartment developments in and around it (as are those in the Pipera–Tunari area). It is also home to many villas constructed before the 1930s that were refurbished in the 1990s and 2000s. Aurel Vlaicu is a metro station in the north of Bucharest, named after the Romanian aeroplane constructor and pioneer aviator, Aurel Vlaicu. It lies on the western end of the Pipera industrial platform, close to an intersection of three boulevards. The station was opened on 24 October 1987 as part of the extension from Piața Unirii to Pipera. There are plans to add a permanent exhibition to the platform, in hommage to the life of Romanian aviation pioneer Aurel Vlaicu.

Lake Herăstrău is an anthropic lake located in the northern part of the city of Bucharest, developed on the Colentina River, in the area where it flows through the urban area of the city, situated between Lake Băneasa upstream and Lake Floreasca downstream. It is the biggest lake in Bucharest. The length of the lake's shores is 7,400 meters, and the length of the islands on the lake is 1,600 meters. The normal retention level is 79.50 meters, with a surface area at NNR of 77 hectares. The length of the lake is 3.50 kilometers, and it has a water volume of approximately 1.5 million cubic meters. The lake is surrounded by King Michael I Park.

Globalworth Tower, known previously as Bucharest One, is a class A office building that is located in the northern part of Bucharest, Romania, in the vicinity of Calea Floreasca, Barbu Văcărescu Boulevard and Pipera. The building has a total of 26 floors and a gross leasable area of 54,700 m2 (589,000 sq ft). The 118 m (387 ft) high building is the second tallest in Bucharest and Romania just under the 137 m (449 ft) Floreasca City Center's Sky Tower. The construction of the building started in 2014 and was completed in 2015 at a total cost of €60 million.

The Embassy of the Philippines in Bucharest is the diplomatic mission of the Republic of the Philippines to Romania. It is located in the neighborhood of Aviației, part of Sector 1 in northern Bucharest, near the Floreasca City Center mixed-use development. Although the current embassy dates from 2024, the Philippines also maintained a previous resident embassy in Romania between 1975 and 2012.

Aviatorilor (Aviators′ in English) is a metro station in Bucharest. It is located at the end of Aviatorilor Boulevard, under Charles de Gaulle Square. It provides easy access to Herăstrău Park and the headquarters of the national television network, TVR. The station was opened on 24 October 1987 as part of the extension from Piața Unirii to Pipera. There are plans to add a permanent exhibition to the platform, celebrating the life of Romanian World War II fighter ace Captain Horia Agarici.

Primăverii neighborhood (“Springtime”) is a district situated in the north of Bucharest, the capital of Romania, in Sector 1. The area is one of the most expensive in the city and is home to many politicians and local celebrities.

Charles de Gaulle Square (Romanian: Piața Charles de Gaulle) is a square in northern Bucharest, Romania. It lies at the intersection of Aviatorilor, Constantin Prezan and Primăverii Boulevards, and Calea Dorobanților. In the centre of the square stands Paul Neagu's Crucea Mileniului (Millennium Cross), built in the 1990s. In September 2006, on the occasion of the Francophonie Summit held in Bucharest, a statue of Charles de Gaulle was unveiled. Sculpted by Mircea Spătaru, it is 4.6 m (15 ft) high and was financed by the government.During the Communist period of Romania, the square hosted parades in honor of the Revolution of 23 August 1944.

Charles de Gaulle Plaza is a "class A" office building in the Charles de Gaulle Square, Bucharest, Romania. It is constructed entirely out of concrete, steel and glass. It has 16 floors and a gross lettable area of 22,000 m2 (240,000 sq ft). There are an additional five floors underground that serve as a parking space with 350 places. The elevators are the fastest in Romania having a speed of 2.5 m/s (8.2 ft/s).

Promenada Mall Bucharest is a shopping center located in Romania. It was developed by investment firm Raiffeisen Evolution and inaugurated on 17 October 2013, after a 130 million euro investment. Promenada is the first mall opened in bucharest after the financial crisis in 2007-2009, construction began in January 2012 and lasted 22 months.The shopping center includes the businesses Carrefour Market, CCC, Help Net, Hervis, Burger King, Zara, Samsung, H&M, Altex, KFC, Intersport, Deichmann, ISTYLE, McDonald's, C&A and Peek & Cloppenburg.Promenada Mall, in Bucharest, won the first prize in the category "Mixed solutions" at the first edition of the Rigips Trophy România. În November 2013, the shopping center was purchased by investment firm NEPI.

Floreasca City Center is a multi-functional center with a shopping and entertainment complex as well as two office buildings in Bucharest. Floreasca City Center consists of a center for shopping, entertainment and business. The gross area amounts to approx. 214,000 m2 (2,300,000 sq ft) with rentable area of approximately 120,000 m2 (1,300,000 sq ft) and more than 2,000 parking places. It is the tallest building in Romania, with shopping-mall, entertainment, retail and offices. Located in Floreasca, an urban district and residential area in the northeast of Bucharest, SkyTower is close to another Raiffeisen evolution project, the Oracle Tower.
