Graduate School of Management, Globis University (Japanese: グロービス経営大学院大学, Hepburn: gurōbisu keiei daigakuin daigaku, English: , commonly referred to and stylized as GLOBIS University) is a graduate business school with campuses in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Sendai, Yokohama, Mito, Ibaraki, Singapore, and Bangkok. Globis University started as a private education venture, Globis Management School, in 1992 by Japanese entrepreneur Yoshito Hori, later gaining official university status in 2006. Globis University is Japan's largest graduate business school, with an annual intake of 1,050 MBA students and enrollment of 2,624 students in 2021. The university offers part-time and online MBA degree programs in English or Japanese and a full-time degree MBA program in English.

E-learning platforms GLOBIS Manabihodai and GLOBIS Unlimited have a combined subscriber number of over 210,000.Globis has overseas subsidiaries in Bangkok, Thailand, Brussels, Belgium, San Francisco, United States, Shanghai, China, and Singapore. The Globis Group includes the Graduate School of Management, Globis University, which is the largest business school in Japan with a total enrollment of 2,683 students and an annual intake of 1,050 students. Another group addition is Globis Capital Partners, a hands-on VC firm with a cumulative fund size of over ¥160 billion JPY (approximately $1.2 billion) invested in over 190 Japanese companies in 2022.

Seven & I was founded in 1920 as Ito-Yokado, the Japanese chain of general merchandise and department stores. In 1991, Ito-Yokado acquired majority control of 7-Eleven, the American international chain of convenience stores. Seven & I was then established in 2005 as part of a corporate restructuring to serve as the holding company of 7-Eleven, Ito-Yokado, and its other business ventures. It was the fifteenth largest retailer in the world as of 2018.

Kioichō (紀尾井町) is a district located in Chiyoda, Tokyo. Once a samurai town, the name of the district is a portmandeau derived from the names of the Kii clan, the Owari clan, and the Ii clan, all of whom had residences there during the Edo era. The Hotel New Otani Tokyo, Sophia University, Yahoo! Corporation, and Shimizudani Park are located within the district.
