Globis Capital Partners Co., Ltd. (Japanese: グロービス・キャピタル・パートナーズ株式会社, Hepburn: Gurōbisu Kyapitaru Paatonaazu kabushiki gaisha, English: ) is a Japanese private venture capital firm headquartered in Banchō, Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. Globis Capital Partners was founded in 1996 by Yoshito Hori and is a part of the Globis Group. It manages a cumulative fund size of over ¥180 billion JPY (approximately $1.3 billion) with investments in companies such as Mercari and Gree.

Globis Corporation (Japanese: 株式会社グロービス, Hepburn: kabushiki gaisha Gurōbisu, English: ), commonly referred to as Globis and stylized as GLOBIS, is a Japanese private business education company headquartered in Banchō, Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. Globis is one of the largest corporate training providers in Japan, with over 2 million professionals having completed programs. It has published 130 business management books which sold a combined 3.5 million copies. E-learning platforms GLOBIS Manabihodai and GLOBIS Unlimited have a combined subscriber number of over 210,000.Globis has overseas subsidiaries in Bangkok, Thailand, Brussels, Belgium, San Francisco, United States, Shanghai, China, and Singapore. The Globis Group includes the Graduate School of Management, Globis University, which is the largest business school in Japan with a total enrollment of 2,683 students and an annual intake of 1,050 students. It is home to the Belgian Embassy and Israeli Embassy. Globis University Graduate School of Management is a private university based in Nibanchō.

Seven & I was founded in 1920 as Ito-Yokado, the Japanese chain of general merchandise and department stores. In 1991, Ito-Yokado acquired majority control of 7-Eleven, the American international chain of convenience stores. Seven & I was then established in 2005 as part of a corporate restructuring to serve as the holding company of 7-Eleven, Ito-Yokado, and its other business ventures. It was the fifteenth largest retailer in the world as of 2018.

Kioichō (紀尾井町) is a district located in Chiyoda, Tokyo. Once a samurai town, the name of the district is a portmandeau derived from the names of the Kii clan, the Owari clan, and the Ii clan, all of whom had residences there during the Edo era. The Hotel New Otani Tokyo, Sophia University, Yahoo! Corporation, and Shimizudani Park are located within the district.
