The Embassy of Ireland in Japan (Irish: Ambasáid na hÉireann, An tSeapáin) is the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Ireland in Japan.As of January 2019, the current ambassador to Japan is Paul Kavanagh, who had previously served as the Irish Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, The People’s Republic of China, France and as Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York.The embassy is also represented by an Honorary Consul in Sapporo, Hokkaido prefecture.

Banchō (番町) is an area in Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan, consisting of the six "-banchō" districts, Ichibanchō (一番町) to Rokubanchō (六番町), as well as parts of Kudanminami and Kudankita, and Fuijimi. The Banchō area is located to the west of the Imperial Palace. The historical area is roughly triangular in shape, Shinjuku Ave (新宿通り) forms its southern boundary. A rough line from Hanzō Moat (半蔵濠, Hanzō-bori) to Ushigome Mitsuke (牛込見附) forms its eastern boundary, and the railway of the Chūō Main Line along the outer moats of Ichigaya and Ushigome forms its northwestern boundary from Yotsuya to Ushigome Mitsuke. Yasukuni Ave (靖国通り) runs through its historical boundaries. Present day area with "Banchō" in the districts names stops south of this avenue.

Hanzōmon Station (半蔵門駅, Hanzōmon-eki) is a subway station on the Tokyo Metro Hanzōmon Line in Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan, operated by the Tokyo subway operator Tokyo Metro. It is located near the Hanzōmon Gate of the Imperial Palace. The station was the eastern terminal of the Hanzōmon Line from 1982 to 1989 and is still used as a terminal for some morning rush hour trains.

Ichigaya (市谷 or 市ヶ谷・市ケ谷) is an area in the eastern portion of Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan.

Part of the Banchō area, Yonbanchō (四番町) is an upscale, mostly residential district of Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. As of June 2020, the population of this district is 2,646 in 1,169 households.

Graduate School of Management, Globis University (Japanese: グロービス経営大学院大学, Hepburn: gurōbisu keiei daigakuin daigaku, English: , commonly referred to and stylized as GLOBIS University) is a graduate business school with campuses in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Sendai, Yokohama, Mito, Ibaraki, Singapore, and Bangkok. Globis University started as a private education venture, Globis Management School, in 1992 by Japanese entrepreneur Yoshito Hori, later gaining official university status in 2006. Globis University is Japan's largest graduate business school, with an annual intake of 1,050 MBA students and enrollment of 2,624 students in 2021. The British Embassy, Tokyo (駐日英国大使館 Chūnichi Eikoku Taishikan) is the chief diplomatic mission of the United Kingdom in Japan, with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Japan being the chief of mission. The embassy compound measures about 35,000 m2, located at No 1 Ichibanchō, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo (Japanese: 東京都千代田区一番町一), to the west of the Imperial Palace, and separated from the latter by a moat.

Kojimachi Station (麹町駅, also 麴町駅, Kōjimachi-eki) is a subway station on the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line in the Kōjimachi neighborhood of Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan, operated by the Tokyo Subway operator Tokyo Metro. Its station number is Y-15.

JOMX-DTV, branded as Tokyo MX (officially stylized as TOKYO MX), is an independent television station in Tokyo, Japan, owned by the Tokyo Metropolitan Television Broadcasting Corporation. It is the only television station that exclusively serves the city. It competes with Nippon TV, TV Asahi, NHK General TV, Tokyo Broadcasting System Television, TV Tokyo, and Fuji TV, all of which are flagship stations of national networks. Tokyo MX was founded on April 30, 1993, and broadcasts commenced on November 1, 1995. Shareholders include the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, Tokyo FM Broadcasting, and others. (MXTV is an associate company of Tokyo FM.) Every week, Tokyo MX airs the press conferences of the Governor of Tokyo. It is a member of the Japanese Association of Independent Television Stations (JAITS).

Part of the Banchō area, Sanbanchō (三番町) is an upscale, mostly residential district of Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. As of June 2020, the population of this district is 3,666 in 1,707 households. It borders the Tokyo Imperial Palace and the Chidorigafuchi moats to the east, Nibanchō and Yonbanchō to the west, Ichibanchō to the south, and Kudanminami to the north. Like Yonbanchō, its official English spelling, Sanbanchō, does not follow the Hepburn romanization standard.
