The A5130 was a minor A-class road in the United Kingdom, from (near) the M1 at Junction 14 to Woburn. Although the roadway still exists, it was declassified in 2017.It started on a roundabout with the A509 just west of Junction 14 of the M1 motorway and proceeded south round (what was then) the eastern edge of the original Milton Keynes designated area. After crossing the A421 the A5130 continued past the village of Wavendon. It then crossed the Bedford-Bletchley railway by means of a level crossing and passed through Woburn Sands. It terminated a short distance to the south upon meeting the A4012 just inside the village of Woburn.

Kingston is a district in the east side of Milton Keynes, in the civil parish of Kents Hill, Monkston and Brinklow. Kingston District Centre is a large retail development that serves this side of the Milton Keynes urban area (its home parish and the parishes of Broughton, Milton Keynes (civil parish), Walton, Woburn Sands and Wavendon). Its Marks and Spencer closed in February 2020According to Milton Keynes City Council, Kingston, Wolverton, Bletchley and Westcroft form the second tier in the retail hierarchy of the city, below Central Milton Keynes.Bounded by Chaffron Way (H7) to the north, Tongwell St (A4146/V11) to the east, Standing Way (A421/H8) to the south and Newport Rd (formerly the A5130) to the east, the rest of the district consists of motor dealers, light industry factories and warehouses, including a Costco wholesale.

Woburn Sands railway station serves the town of Woburn Sands and the village of Wavendon in the City of Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire, England. The station is on the Marston Vale line between Bedford and Bletchley, about 4 miles (6.5 km) east of Bletchley station. The station is served by local trains to Bletchley and Bedford using Class 230 multiple units. This station is one of the seven stations serving the Milton Keynes urban area.

Eagle Farm is a district of south-east Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire, England, within the Wavendon civil parish. It was constructed to help the Milton Keynes urban area with its rapid increase in demand for housing. The site is part of the "Eastern Expansion Area" of Milton Keynes, identified in 2004 by the then government. The district has a primary school, St Mary's C of E Primary, with space for 600 pupils. As of October 2020, the district is currently undergoing further development and construction, and is predicted to reach 2,900 homes as it grows.

Walton High is a large academy school with two campuses located in the Walnut Tree and Brooklands areas of eastern Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire, England. Walton High’s sixth form centre, Post-16, is one of the more successful in the area on some measures, attracting pupils from across Milton Keynes. As of January 2018 there were 1,923 pupils. By 2022, Walton High is expected to grow to be one of the largest schools in the country with 3,000 pupils across both campuses.The school has consistently good Ofsted reports: in 2018 it was rated "Good".The school was previously a specialist Business and Enterprise College and had foundation status. Walton High converted to academy status on 1 July 2011, becoming the founding member of the Milton Keynes Education Trust (MKET) – the first multi-academy trust established in Milton Keynes.

Kents Hill, Monkston and Brinklow is a civil parish that covers the Kents Hill, Brinklow, Monkston, Monkston Park and Kingston districts of Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire, England. As the first tier of Local Government, the Parish Council is responsible for the people, living and working in this area of Milton Keynes. The Parish was formed in 2001 as part of a general parishing of the Borough. It is bounded by Chaffron Way, the Broughton Brook, Newport Road, Groveway, Brickhill Street, Standing Way, and the River Ouzel.

Woburn Sands () is a town that straddles the border between Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire in England, and also is part of the Milton Keynes urban area. The larger part of the town is in Woburn Sands civil parish, which is in the City of Milton Keynes, Smaller parts of the town are in the neighbouring parishes of Aspley Guise and Aspley Heath (in Central Bedfordshire). The meandering boundary between Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire means the Lower and Middle Schools that serve all of the town are both in Aspley Guise CP. Bedfordshire Police and Thames Valley Police both deal with law enforcement issues in the town. At the 2011 Census, the population of the civil parish (only) was 2,916, that of the built-up area (including much of Aspley Guise) was 5,959. Woburn Sands, Aspley Guise and Aspley Heath each has its own centre but together the three settlements are a contiguous built-up area.

Broughton (, BRAW-tən) is a historic village, modern district and civil parish in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, England, situated approximately 3 miles (4.8 km) east of Central Milton Keynes. As of 2020, it is governed by Broughton and Milton Keynes Joint Parish Council, which it shares with the neighboring Milton Keynes parish. Today, Broughton is a large district of (greater) Milton Keynes that has been developed around the original village and that grew substantially during the 2000s and 2010s.
