Walton High is a large academy school with two campuses located in the Walnut Tree and Brooklands areas of eastern Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire, England. Walton High’s sixth form centre, Post-16, is one of the more successful in the area on some measures, attracting pupils from across Milton Keynes. As of January 2018 there were 1,923 pupils. By 2022, Walton High is expected to grow to be one of the largest schools in the country with 3,000 pupils across both campuses.The school has consistently good Ofsted reports: in 2018 it was rated "Good".The school was previously a specialist Business and Enterprise College and had foundation status. Walton High converted to academy status on 1 July 2011, becoming the founding member of the Milton Keynes Education Trust (MKET) – the first multi-academy trust established in Milton Keynes.

Since it was founded, more than 2.3 million students have achieved their learning goals by studying with the Open University. The Open University is one of only two United Kingdom higher education institutions to gain accreditation in the United States of America by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. It also produces more CEOs than any other UK university. Former UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown, astrophysicist Jocelyn Bell Burnell, broadcaster Anna Ford and actress Glenda Jackson are among those who have tutored for the OU.

Milton Keynes South is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since its 2010 creation by Iain Stewart, a Conservative.In its 2023 Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies, the Boundary Commission proposes to abolish this constituency.

Kingston is a district in the east side of Milton Keynes, in the civil parish of Kents Hill, Monkston and Brinklow. Kingston District Centre is a large retail development that serves this side of the Milton Keynes urban area (its home parish and the parishes of Broughton, Milton Keynes (civil parish), Walton, Woburn Sands and Wavendon). The District Centre houses a Tesco hypermarket and other UK high street names, such as Aldi, Boots, Wilko, and other retail outlets. The centre also has a small local library, a meeting place and a separate restaurant building on the Southern ring road. Walton (historically) was a hamlet that is now a district and civil parish in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, England. For local government purposes, it is part of the Danesborough and Walton electoral ward. The historic hamlet is located about four miles south of Central Milton Keynes and just east of Simpson, mostly along Walton Road in the modern Walnut Tree district. The modern H9 Groveway grid road severs a few of its houses into Walton Hall and the V10 Brickhill Street separates the Manor Farm off into the Walton grid square. The Manor Farm has been redeveloped, first into a research centre for Hoechst and subsequently as the UK headquarters of MSD Animal Health.The village name is a common one in England, and is an Old English language word, meaning either 'village of the Britons' (wale being a word meaning Briton) or 'walled village'. The village is first recorded (in the 12th century) as Wauton.The manor house of the village, (Walton Hall) and its chapel of ease, now deconsecrated, are in the campus grounds of The Open University, in the Walton Hall district.

Walton Hall is a district in Milton Keynes, in the English county of Buckinghamshire, and is the location of the campus and offices of The Open University. The university campus covers 45 hectares (110 acres) and the first buildings were designed by Maxwell Fry and Jane Drew in 1969.It is in the ancient ecclesiastic and modern civil parish of Walton. In the university campus grounds are the manor house (Walton Hall), which gives the district its name, and the ancient parish church of St Michael, now deconsecrated. The village farm-lands are divided between Walton Hall, the modern Walton, Kents Hill and Walnut Tree. The manor house itself, built in 1830 in the Regency style for the Pinfold family, is home to the vice-chancellor's offices of the Open University.Walton Hall is on the banks of the Ouzel, a tributary of the Great Ouse where Walton Lake, a disused balancing lake, has become naturalised and is home to reeds, bulrushes, reed warbler, reed bunting, water rail, sparrowhawk, kestrel, green woodpecker, grass snake and many varieties of odonata. Surrounding the reedbed are ponds and open water, ancient hedgerows and hay meadow.

Broughton and Milton Keynes Parish Council is a joint parish council for Milton Keynes and Broughton civil parishes in the City of Milton Keynes unitary authority, Buckinghamshire, England. The combined parish is one of a number within Milton Keynes, the overall settlement that takes its name from the village at the heart of its parish. The parish council serves the combined area of Broughton civil parish (which covers Atterbury, Brooklands, Brook Furlong, Broughton and Northfield) and Milton Keynes civil parish (which covers Fox Milne, Middleton (including Milton Keynes Village), Oakgrove and Pineham). At the 2011 census, the two parishes had a combined population of 8,117.

The Milton Keynes Hoard is a hoard of Bronze Age gold found in September 2000 in a field at Monkston Park in Milton Keynes, England. The hoard consisted of two torcs, three bracelets, and a fragment of bronze rod contained in a pottery vessel. The inclusion of pottery in the find enabled it to be dated to around 1150–800 BC.Weighing in at 2.020 kg (4.45 lb), the hoard was described by the British Museum as "one of the biggest concentrations of Bronze Age gold known from Great Britain" and "important for providing a social and economic picture for the period". The hoard was valued at £290,000 and is now in the British Museum.Several other antiquities, including Romano-British hoards, have been found within a 10–12 miles (16–19 km) radius of the centre of Milton Keynes.

Middleton is an area of Milton Keynes, a city in Buckinghamshire, England, and part of the civil parish of Milton Keynes. Its historic centre is Milton Keynes Village, the village that in 1967 gave its name to the city of which it is now a small part. It is delineated by Childs Way to the north, Tongwell Street to the east, Chaffron Way to the south and Brickhill Street to the west. The River Ouzel runs diagonally through it, from west to north.

Oakgrove School is a coeducational, nursery, primary school, secondary school and sixth form with academy status, located in the Middleton (Oakgrove Secondary) and Oakgrove (Oakgrove Primary & Nursery) districts of south-east Milton Keynes, England. It is the flagship school of the Kingsbridge Educational Trust.The school originally opened on 1 September 2005, intaking roughly 60 students of both Year 7 and Year 8. In September 2016 the school expanded further to include a primary and nursery school section, for children aged 4 to 11.

Wavendon is a village and civil parish in the south east of the Milton Keynes urban area, in Buckinghamshire, England.

Red Bull Racing, currently competing as Oracle Red Bull Racing and also known simply as Red Bull or RBR, is a Formula One racing team, racing under an Austrian licence and based in the United Kingdom. It is one of two Formula One teams owned by conglomerate Red Bull GmbH, the other being Scuderia AlphaTauri. The Red Bull Racing team has been managed by Christian Horner since its formation in 2005.Red Bull had Cosworth engines in 2005 and Ferrari engines in 2006. The team used engines supplied by Renault between 2007 and 2018 (from 2016 to 2018, the Renault engine was re-badged "TAG Heuer" following the breakdown in the relationship between Red Bull and Renault in 2015). During this partnership, they won four successive Drivers' and Constructors' Championship titles from 2010 to 2013, becoming the first Austrian team to win the title. The team began using Honda engines in 2019. The works Honda partnership culminated in 2021 following Red Bull driver Max Verstappen's World Drivers' Championship victory, with Verstappen also winning the championship in 2022 and 2023. Honda left the sport officially after 2021, but is set to continue to supply complete engines from Japan to the team partly under Red Bull Powertrains branding until the end of 2025.
