The Convent of Sant Agustí Vell is a convent in the Ribera district of Barcelona which construction began in 1349 and was completed around 1506. It was located in the area where artisan tanners dedicated to the treatment of skins, used to work, an activity that requires a high consumption of water, reason why it was located around the Rec Comtal, routed through Carrer del Rec and the current location of the Mercat del Born.

Museu de la Xocolata or Museo del Chocolate in Spanish, ("Museum of Chocolate") is a private museum in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, owned by the Gremio de Pastelería de Barcelona (the city pastry-makers' guild). The museum opened in 2000, at Calle Comercio 36, in El Born, Ciudad Vieja, on the ground level of an old barrack. Many of the displays are chocolate sculptures, including various well-known Barcelona buildings, and illustrations from various stories.

Brossa Espai Escènic (Brossa Scenic Space in Catalan) is a small theatre in Barcelona inaugurated in December 1997. It is intimately related to the creative universe of Joan Brossa i Cuervo and to the artistic and historic avant-garde activities and contemporary creation. Its founders and co-directors are actor and director Hermann Bonnín and magician Hausson.

The Rec Comtal was an irrigation canal near Barcelona, Catalonia, which took water from the Besòs river to the walls of the city. Construction was begun by Miro, Count of Barcelona in the 10th century, but it may date back to Roman times. It supplied water until the mid-20th century. In March 2016, extensive remains of structures associated with the system were discovered during excavations at Plaça de les Glòries Catalanes.

The Museu Picasso (Catalan pronunciation: [muˈzɛw piˈkasu], "Picasso Museum") is an art museum in Barcelona, in Catalonia, Spain. It houses an extensive collection of artworks by the twentieth-century Spanish artist Pablo Picasso, with a total of 4251 of his works. It is housed in five adjoining medieval palaces on Montcada Street in the La Ribera neighborhood in the Old City of Barcelona. It opened to the public on 9 March 1963, becoming the first museum dedicated to Picasso's work and the only one created during his lifetime. It has since been declared a museum of national interest by the Government of Catalonia.Highlights of the collection include two of his first major works, The First Communion (1896), and Science and Charity (1897). In particular, the Museu Picasso reveals Picasso's relationship with the city of Barcelona, a relationship that was shaped in his youth and adolescence and continued until his death.

The Palau del Marquès de Lió is a civic building located at number 12 of Montcada street at the Barri de la Ribera district of Barcelona. Throughout its history has been the residence of several local noble families, among which the Marquès de Lió, which today gives its name to the building. It is one of the venues of the Disseny Hub Barcelona and hosts its temporary exhibitions.

The Museu Tèxtil i d'Indumentària, in English Textile and Clothing Museum, is a museum opened on 1982 and located in the Palau Reial de Pedralbes in Barcelona. The museum possesses countless objects and pieces of major artistic and historical value that make up their collections of garments, fabrics and jewellery. Regarding their collection of clothes, the museum allows you to take a journey through the history of textiles, from the 16th century right up to the modern day. The museum's collections include Coptic, Hispano-Arab, Gothic and Renaissance fabrics, as well as embroidery, a section on lacework and a collection of prints. Also worth mentioning is the jewelry collection, comprising approximately five hundred pieces that were made and produced in Spain.Together with Museu de les Arts Decoratives and the Gabinet de les Arts Gràfiques is part of the Disseny Hub Barcelona.

Passeig de Lluís Companys (Catalan pronunciation: [pəˈsɛdʒ də ʎuˈis kumˈpaɲs]) is a promenade in the Ciutat Vella and Eixample districts of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, and can be seen as an extension of Passeig de Sant Joan. It was named after President Lluís Companys, who was executed in 1940. It starts in Arc de Triomf and ends in Parc de la Ciutadella, on Carrer de Pujades.

Sant Pere de les Puelles (in Catalan, Puel·les, in Spanish, Real Monasterio de San Pedro de las Puellas) is a Benedictine monastery in the Sant Pere, Santa Caterina i la Ribera neighborhood of the Ciutat Vella district of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. The 10th-century building, Romanesque/Gothic in style, was declared a Bien de Interés Cultural landmark in 1931.

The Castle of the Three Dragons (Catalan: Castell dels Tres Dragons, Spanish: Castillo de los Tres Dragones), is the popular name given to the modernisme building built between 1887–1888 as a Café-Restaurant for the 1888 Universal Exposition of Barcelona by Lluís Domènech i Montaner. This name was probably adopted from the 1865 play by Serafí Pitarra.

The Arc de Triomf (Catalan pronunciation: [ˈaɾk də tɾiˈomf]) is a triumphal arch in the city of Barcelona in Catalonia, Spain. It was built by architect Josep Vilaseca i Casanovas as the main access gate for the 1888 Barcelona World Fair. The arch crosses over the wide central promenade of the Passeig de Lluís Companys, leading to the Ciutadella Park that now occupies the site of the world fair. It is located at the northern end of the promenade, facing the Passeig de Sant Joan.

The Palau de les Belles Arts was a multipurpose building in Barcelona. Demolished in 1942, it was built on the occasion of the universal exhibition of 1888, in the space where the municipal courts are currently located in front of the Parc de la Ciutadella, on the corner of Passeig de Lluís Companys and Passeig de Pujades .
