The Palau del Marquès de Lió is a civic building located at number 12 of Montcada street at the Barri de la Ribera district of Barcelona. Throughout its history has been the residence of several local noble families, among which the Marquès de Lió, which today gives its name to the building. It is one of the venues of the Disseny Hub Barcelona and hosts its temporary exhibitions.

The Museu Tèxtil i d'Indumentària, in English Textile and Clothing Museum, is a museum opened on 1982 and located in the Palau Reial de Pedralbes in Barcelona. The museum possesses countless objects and pieces of major artistic and historical value that make up their collections of garments, fabrics and jewellery. Regarding their collection of clothes, the museum allows you to take a journey through the history of textiles, from the 16th century right up to the modern day. The museum's collections include Coptic, Hispano-Arab, Gothic and Renaissance fabrics, as well as embroidery, a section on lacework and a collection of prints. Also worth mentioning is the jewelry collection, comprising approximately five hundred pieces that were made and produced in Spain.Together with Museu de les Arts Decoratives and the Gabinet de les Arts Gràfiques is part of the Disseny Hub Barcelona.

Brossa Espai Escènic (Brossa Scenic Space in Catalan) is a small theatre in Barcelona inaugurated in December 1997. It is intimately related to the creative universe of Joan Brossa i Cuervo and to the artistic and historic avant-garde activities and contemporary creation. Its founders and co-directors are actor and director Hermann Bonnín and magician Hausson.

Sant Pere, Santa Caterina i la Ribera (Catalan pronunciation: [ˈsam ˈpeɾə ˈsantə kətəˈɾinə j lə riˈβeɾə]) is a neighborhood in the Ciutat Vella district of Barcelona, Catalonia (Spain). It is formed by the former neighborhoods of Sant Pere, Santa Caterina and la Ribera. The southeastern part of this area, just below Carrer de la Princesa, and leading to Barceloneta, is often referred to as "El Born." A close subway stop for many staying in this neighborhood is Jaume I (primer), which is situated on the yellow L4 line.

The Fossar de les Moreres (Catalan pronunciation: [fuˈsa ðə ləz muˈɾeɾəs], literally "Grave of the Mulberries") is a memorial square in Barcelona (Catalonia, Spain), adjacent to the basilica of Santa Maria del Mar. The plaza was built over a cemetery where defenders of the city were buried following the Siege of Barcelona at the end of the War of the Spanish Succession in 1714. The plaza features a memorial to the fallen Catalans of the war, with a torch of eternal flame and a heroic poem by Frederic Soler, "El Fossar de les Moreres". In the aftermath of the War of Spanish Succession, Catalonia suffered a loss of autonomy. The subsequent royal decrees known as the Decretos de Nueva Planta abolished the furs (fueros) of Catalonia as well as institutions that dated back to the time of the Crown of Aragon and beyond. At a later date the public use of the Catalan language was banned for public documents. The Decretos dealt not only with Catalonia, but also with other parts of Spain and the empire as a whole. Given this tumultuous history connected with the decrees and the war, the Fossar de les Moreres is a place of remembrance every year during the National Day of Catalonia (Diada Nacional de Catalunya in Catalan). The holiday commemorates the date on which Barcelona fell, 11 September, and Catalans yearly pay homage to the defenders of city who were killed and are buried at the memorial.

Museu de la Xocolata or Museo del Chocolate in Spanish, ("Museum of Chocolate") is a private museum in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, owned by the Gremio de Pastelería de Barcelona (the city pastry-makers' guild). The museum opened in 2000, at Calle Comercio 36, in El Born, Ciudad Vieja, on the ground level of an old barrack. Many of the displays are chocolate sculptures, including various well-known Barcelona buildings, and illustrations from various stories.

Jaume I is a station in the Barcelona Metro network, located under Via Laietana, an important avenue in Ciutat Vella, right between Plaça de Ramon Berenguer el Gran and Plaça d'Emili Vilanova. It can be accessed from Plaça de l'Àngel and Carrer d'Argenteria, on the other side of Via Laietana. It currently serves Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona-operated L4, but was originally designed in 1926 as one of the stations of the first L3 service, a section of which became L4. The other L3 stations (Correos and Banco) located in Via Laietana are all closed nowadays. Its two platforms, unusually for a downtown Barcelona metro station, are both located on the same level, with a wall between them dividing the station in two parts. They are each 94 m (308 ft) long. On December 28, 2018, the station became accessible for wheelchair users.

The Convent of Sant Agustí Vell is a convent in the Ribera district of Barcelona which construction began in 1349 and was completed around 1506. It was located in the area where artisan tanners dedicated to the treatment of skins, used to work, an activity that requires a high consumption of water, reason why it was located around the Rec Comtal, routed through Carrer del Rec and the current location of the Mercat del Born.
