Branovo (Hungarian: Kisbaromlak) is a municipality and village in the Nové Zámky District in the Nitra Region of south-west Slovakia.

The Church of Saint Adalbert is a Roman Catholic church located in the centre of the village Dvory nad Žitavou in Slovakia. It was consecrated in 1776. The church is situated in the middle of a large green park in Main Square. Today the church is mainly used for liturgical and worship rituals.

Nitriansky Hrádok is a district of a town of Šurany, Slovakia. This settlement was annexed to Šurany in 1976.

Šurany (until 1927, Veľké Šurany) is a town and a railroad hub in the Nové Zámky District, Nitra Region, southern Slovakia. Alongside the main settlement, it has the boroughs of Kostolný Sek and Nitriansky Hrádok, both annexed 1976.

Stadium in Nové Zámky is an ice rink in Nové Zámky, Slovakia. The winter stadium lures not only home visitors and sports teams, but also foreign clubs. It is not odd, if the ice ring is available also during the summer. Every year ice hockey tournaments are organized on an international level. It is a modern all-round facility mostly for use during the winter, ideal for ice hockey and ice dancing team assemblies, organization of tournaments and contests.

The Serbian lowland is treated under Danube Plain (Serbia)The Danubian Lowland or Danube Lowland (Slovak: Podunajská nížina) is the name of the part of Little Alföld (Slovak: Malá dunajská kotlina) situated in Slovakia, located between the Danube, the Little Carpathians and all other parts of the Western Carpathians. In terms of geomorphology, it forms one unit together with the Neusiedl Basin (Neusiedler Becken) in Austria and the Győr Basin (Győri-medence) in Hungary. It is an extensive tectonic depression filled with layers of Neogene Quaternary to a height of between 100 and 350 meters. It consist of the following two parts: Danubian Hills (also translated as Danubian Upland) in the north Danubian Flat (also translated as Danubian Plain) in the southMany urban and other settlements can be found in this primarily agricultural area. The towns Topoľčany, Nové Zámky, Komárno, Levice, Dunajská Streda and Galanta are administrative centers. They are centers of industry and the processing of agricultural products (mills, breweries etc.). The siege of Érsekújvár (siege of Uyvar) also known as the siege of Neuhäusel occurred in 1663 when Grand Vizier Fazil Ahmed Pasha leading the Ottomans invaded Habsburg Hungary and captured the Hungarian fortress at Érsekújvár (Hungarian: Érsekújvár, German: Neuhäus[e]l, Latin: Novum Castrum, Turkish: Uyvar, modern Nové Zámky in southern Slovakia).

The Roman Catholic Church of Nové Zámky (Slovak: Rimskokatolicky kostol NoveZamky) dominates the main square of the town, which is in south-west Slovakia.A church at the site was built originally in 1584–1585. This was a simple late-Gothic building, and was later rebuilt several times. The building with all its facilities was totally destroyed by a fire. Only the sacristy remained, and an "eternal light" from the presbytery was saved. Until 1867, the church was decorated in a typical building in the late-Baroque classic style. The most recent major reconstruction work was undertaken in 1877, giving the church a neoclassic character. The round shape of the windows probably dates from this era.

Nové Zámky District (okres Nové Zámky) is a district in the Nitra Region of western Slovakia. Until 1918, the area of the district was split between several counties of the Kingdom of Hungary: the largest area in the north formed part of Nitra; an area in the south between Dvory nad Žitavou and Strekov formed part of Komárno; an area in the north-east around Veľké Lovce formed part of Tekov; a sizable area in the east formed part of Esztergom (Ostrihom); and a small area around Salka formed part of Hont County.

The Franciscan church and monastery (Slovak: Františkánsky kostol a rímskokatolícky kláštor) is a church in Nové Zámky, Nitra Region, Slovakia. It was built in 1626–1631.
