Jelšovce (Hungarian: Nyitraegerszeg) is a village and municipality in the Nitra District in western central Slovakia, in the Nitra Region.

Dražovský kostolík (officially the Church of St. Michael the Archangel) is one of the oldest churches in Slovakia, dating from the 11th century, located at Dražovce (now part of Nitra). It is a typical early Romanesque architecture single-nave building with thick enclosure walls and small roundish apse. It is no longer used. Research from 1947 and 1948 discovered 55 graves around the church. Dražovce church is depicted on the Slovak postage stamp of the highest face-value and was also formerly depicted on the Slovak 50 SKK note before the changeover to € currency.

Zobor Abbey was a Benedictine monastery established at Zobor (today part of Nitra, Slovakia) in the Kingdom of Hungary. The abbey was first mentioned by royal charters issued in 1111 and 1113, during the rule of Coloman, King of Hungary.

Preseľany (Hungarian: Nyitrapereszlény) is a municipality in the Topoľčany District of the Nitra Region, Slovakia. In Preseľany is football club, skittles club and bodybuilding club. This municipality on Northern part of Nitra Region is mostly famous od high incidence of cholerics per km2, what's making it one of the world's uniques. Local citizens have already applied for the inclusion of the village in the list of UNESCO cultural heritage precisely because of this exceptional feature of the village.

Jaguar Land Rover Slovakia is a Slovak subsidiary of the British car producer Jaguar Land Rover, itself a subsidiary of Tata Motors. The factory is located in Nitra and production started in October 2018. It builds the Land Rover Discovery and Land Rover Defender models.
