Katipunan Avenue (Filipino: Abenida Katipunan) is a major avenue in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. It runs in a north–south direction from the University of the Philippines Diliman, intersecting with Tandang Sora Avenue at its northernmost point, down to the Manila Philippines Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, intersecting with White Plains Avenue at its southernmost point. The avenue is named after the Kataas-taasan, Kagalang-galangan, Katipunan ng mga Anak ng Bayan (KKK).The road is a component of National Route 11 (N11) and National Route 129 (N129) of the Philippine highway network, respectively, and Circumferential Road 5 (C-5) of Manila's arterial road network. The avenue has three lanes each way in most sections, widening to four in select areas, and narrowing to two lanes within Barangays White Plains and Saint Ignatius. An extension project, shelved by the government for the last six decades due to failed negotiations with private entities, has been revived by the Department of Public Works and Highways to address worsening traffic situations along Katipunan and Commonwealth Avenue, as well as Batasan–San Mateo Road. As of February 2021, the project is 70% complete.

Camp Gen. Rigoberto Atienza or Camp Atienza in Libis, Quezon City was named after the 9th Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines. Camp Atienza serves as the headquarters of the 51st Engineer Brigade, Philippine Army.

Katipunan station is a station on the Manila Light Rail Transit System Line 2. It is the only underground station in the entire line. The station is located in Loyola Heights in Quezon City and is named because of its location on Katipunan Avenue, one of Quezon City's main thoroughfares. The avenue is in turn named after the Katipunan revolutionary society. Katipunan station serves as the tenth station for trains headed to Antipolo and the fourth station for trains headed to Recto. This station should not be confused with the planned Katipunan station of the Metro Manila Subway Line 9, to be built on Camp Aguinaldo property near the other end of Katipunan Avenue, also in Quezon City. The station was temporarily closed due to a fire which affected two rectifiers located between the Katipunan and Anonas stations on October 3, 2019. The station was reopened on January 22, 2021 after repairs to the rectifiers were completed.

Anonas station is a station on the Manila Light Rail Transit System Line 2. Anonas station is one of the many elevated stations that can be found on the line. The station is located in Cubao in Quezon City and is named because of its location near Anonas Street. The station is the ninth station for trains headed to Antipolo and the fifth station for trains headed to Recto. Anonas station was temporarily closed due to a fire which affected two rectifiers of the train line between Anonas and Katipunan stations on October 3, 2019. The Marcos Bridge is a road bridge that connects the Barangays of Calumpang and Barangka in Marikina in Metro Manila, Philippines The bridge is part of the Marcos Highway (Marikina–Infanta Highway). It consists of an inner bridge and an outer bridge. The outer bridge was constructed in 2008 with the construction of the SM City Marikina which also doubled as an access road to and from the mall. The length of the inner bridge from its two abutments is 341.65 meters (1,120.9 ft), while the outer bridge is at 426.21 m (1,398.3 ft). The outer bridge have 2 westbound lanes in total and a junction at the Calumpang side of the bridge connects to the nearby Macapagal Bridge. A separate but unconnected rail bridge of the Manila Light Rail Transit System's Line 2 line exists parallel to the road bridge. The rail bridge that runs beside the road bridge was constructed by the Hanjin-Itochu Consortium and has a length of 363.39 meters (1,192.2 ft) and a width of 9.4 meters (31 ft). According to a December 2013 report by JICA, the Marcos Bridge has a high traffic volume of Jeepneys, with 6 thousand vehicles crossing the bridge daily.On April 30, 2019, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority announced the rehabilitation of the Marcos Bridge. The rehabilitation started on May 25, 2019, resulting in closure of the eastbound section that was first rehabilitated, followed by the westbound section four months later. The rehabilitation was finished on October 31, 2019, and the bridge was fully reopened on the same day. The bridge can now withstand a magnitude 7.2 earthquake.

Barangka is an administrative division of Marikina, Metro Manila, the Philippines. It is an urban barangay part of the 1st district of Marikina and is one of the oldest barangays in Marikina. Located along the southwestern border of Marikina, with the Marikina–Infanta Highway and A. Bonifacio Avenue, which serve as thoroughfares connecting Quezon City and Marikina, and with the municipalities of San Mateo and Rodriguez (Montalban) in Rizal to the east, Barangka is considered to be a gateway for people going to and from Metro Manila and Rizal. It is bordered on the west by barangay Loyola Heights in Quezon City; to the south by barangays Industrial Valley and Calumpang; to the east by barangay Tañong; and to the north by Loyola Grand Villas.

Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo (CGEA), also known as Camp Aguinaldo, is the site of the general headquarters (GHQ) of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) located in eastern Metro Manila, the Philippines. It is located in Quezon City along EDSA, a major thoroughfare of the metropolis, to which it is across Camp Crame, the national headquarters (NHQ) of the Philippine National Police (PNP). The military installation is named after Philippine revolutionary leader Emilio Aguinaldo, who became the first Philippine president and fought in the Philippine Revolution, the Spanish–American War, and the Philippine–American War.

The Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) is a volunteer-based, non-government organization whose goal is to prevent animal cruelty through education, animal sheltering and advocacy, based in Quezon City, Philippines. PAWS believes that the creation of a more peaceful society starts with the widening of mankind's circle of compassion which includes animals, thereby envisions a nation that respects animals, practices responsible pet ownership and protects wildlife. The volunteer-based organization rehabilitates these animals in the hope of finding them new homes and a second chance at a good life. PAWS does not take in pets of other people, but only victims of cruelty or neglect where the animal offenders are charged with violation of the Animal Welfare Act in court.

Riverbanks Center (also known as Marikina Riverbanks/Marikina Riverbanks Center or simply Riverbanks) is an integrated development complex for shopping, recreational, business and commercial along Andres Bonifacio Avenue adjacent to Marikina River in Barangka, Marikina, Metro Manila, Philippines. It is home of the Philippine's biggest outdoor amphitheater and outlet center, and the location of once the world's largest pair of shoes.
