Christ Church, Coseley

Coseley ( KOHZ-lee) is a village in the Dudley Metropolitan Borough, in the West Midlands County, England. It is situated three miles (five kilometres) north of Dudley itself, on the border with Wolverhampton. Though it is a part of the Dudley North constituency. It also falls within the Wolverhampton South-East parliamentary constituency.

Coseley railway station is located in the Coseley area of the borough of Dudley, West Midlands, England. It is situated on the Rugby-Birmingham-Stafford branch of the West Coast Main Line. The station, and all trains serving it, are operated by West Midlands Trains.

Bradley ( BRAYD-lee) is a suburban village in the City of Wolverhampton, West Midlands County, England. It is located in the Bilston East ward.

Daisy Bank railway station was a station built by the Oxford, Worcester and Wolverhampton Railway in 1854 as Daisy Bank & Bradley station. It was situated on the Oxford-Worcester-Wolverhampton Line. The station closed in 1917 as a wartime economy measure before reopening in 1919, and closed permanently in 1962, though goods trains continued to pass through the site until the line closed completely on 22 September 1968.The cutting from the station site has since been filled in and is now a nature walk with the other side of the line still being in situ as a footpath until a large shrub has been placed to block off the trackbed towards Bilston West.

Princes End and Coseley railway station was a station built by the Oxford, Worcester and Wolverhampton Railway in 1853. It was one of two stations in Princes End, but was situated closer to Coseley, which influenced the decision in 1936 to add the 'and Coseley' tag on the end of the station name. It was situated on the Oxford-Worcester-Wolverhampton Line. The station eventually closed in 1962, along with the passenger services along the line, although the line remained open to goods trains until 22 September 1968.The site of the station is now a small nature walk. The other side towards Tipton Five Ways has been filled in and is now mostly occupied by housing and industrial outlets.

The Coseley School was a mixed secondary school located in Coseley, West Midlands, England.The school closed in July 2017, in a phased closure, when the pupils who started in September 2012 completed their GCSE studies, while the younger three year groups were transferred to other schools from September 2016; with Dormston or High Arcal in neighbouring Sedgley being the most popular destinations. The site is now mothballed, with the intention of re-opening it to cater for the likely increase in secondary school pupils living in Coseley following the construction of a new housing development on the former Bean Industries and Newey Goodman sites in the south of the town.

The BCN Main Line, or Birmingham Canal Navigations Main Line is the evolving route of the Birmingham Canal between Birmingham and Wolverhampton in England. The name Main Line was used to distinguish the main Birmingham to Wolverhampton route from the many other canals and branches built or acquired by the Birmingham Canal Navigations company.

Bilston West railway station was a station built by the Oxford, Worcester and Wolverhampton Railway in 1854. It was situated on the Oxford-Worcester-Wolverhampton Line. The station eventually closed in 1962.The station site has since disappeared under industrial and redevelopment as the Black Country Route and commercial premises have since been built on the former trackbed towards Priestfield although the trackbed can still be seen on an embankment before disappearing.

Ormiston SWB Academy (formerly South Wolverhampton and Bilston Academy) is an academy school (11–18 years) serving the town of Bilston and the southern area of the city of Wolverhampton in the West Midlands of England. On 1 July 2017 South Wolverhampton and Bilston Academy changed its name to Ormiston SWB Academy following a change of sponsor from the City of Wolverhampton Academy Trust to Ormiston Academies Trust (OAT). It opened in September 2009 to replace Parkfield High School, which occupied a building at Bilston town centre and another at Lawnswood Avenue in the Lanesfield area of Wolverhampton. However, in September 2012, SWB Academy moved to a £25 million new build in Bilston.

The Wednesbury Oak Loop, sometimes known as the Bradley Arm, is a canal in the West Midlands, England. It is part of the Birmingham Canal Navigations (BCN), and was originally part of James Brindley's main line, but became a loop when Thomas Telford's improvements of the 1830s bypassed it by the construction of the Coseley Tunnel. The south-eastern end of the loop was closed and in parts built over, following the designation of the entire loop as "abandoned" in 1954, including the section which was filled in at the beginning of the 1960s to make way for the Glebefields Estate in Tipton.

The Boat Gauging House is a building in Tipton, West Midlands, England. It is situated by the Main Line of the Birmingham Canal Navigations, and was used for calibrating new canal boats in order later to ascertain the weight of cargo carried. It is a Grade II listed building.

The Black Country Urban Forest (BCUF) is a project to make urban forestry the characteristic landscape of one of England's industrial areas, The Black Country. It is not a forest in the modern sense of a large area of managed woodland. It is closer to the old concept of a Royal forest – a large area of land with many different land uses and activities, except that instead of being dedicated to the enjoyment of the privileged few, the BCUF is an amenity for all the people, from all backgrounds, that live in it.
