Wielki Staw Polski (Polish: Wielki Staw Polski; Slovakian: Veľký stav; German: Großer Polnischer See; Hungarian: Nagy-tó) - is a tarn located in the High Tatras, at an elevation of 1,665 metres above sea level in the Valley of the Five Polish Lakes (Dolina Pięciu Stawów Polskich), by the slope of the Miedziane. The lake is the second-largest lake by area (34.14 hectares (84.4 acres)) in the Tatra Mountains after the Morskie Oko (34.54 hectares (85.4 acres)). The lake is located in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship; in Poland.Wielki Staw Polski is the deepest and longest (998 metres) lake in the Tatra Mountains, and the third-deepest lake in Poland (the deepest lake is Hańcza. The lake's volume is around 13 million m³ of water, and it is the largest lake by volume in the Tatra Mountains (its volume makes up one third of all lakes in the Tatra Mountains lakes). The highest temperature of the lake's water was 11.2 °C (52.2 °F).

Wołoszyn is a mountain massif in the Tatra Mountains in Poland It reaches 2,155 meters at its highest peak. Wołoszyn is part of the Polish Tatra National Park.

Orla Perć (English: Eagle's Path) is a tourist path in the Tatra Mountains in southern Poland. It is considered one of the most difficult and dangerous public paths in the entire Tatras (an equivalent to Grade 2 Scramble) and is therefore a suitable route only for experienced climbers. The path is marked with red signs. Since it was established in the early 20th century, at least 112 people have lost their lives on the route.

Mnich (English: Monk) is a mountain in the Tatra Mountains on the Morskie Oko of Poland. It has an elevation of 2,068 meters above sea level.

Kościelec (2,155 m above sea level) is a mountain in the High Tatras in the Gąsienicowa Valley of Poland.

Świnica (Polish) or Svinica (Slovak) is a mountain in the main crest of the High Tatras, on the Polish-Slovak border. The main peak is at 2,301 m AMSL. A marked trail leads through the summit. The Polish name Świnica (derivative form of a pig or swine) was given to this summit in the mid 19th century. It probably refers to the resemblance of the peak to silhouette of a swine. Another, doubtful explanation, is that the summit was difficult to reach.

Kurtkowiec (Polish: Kurtkowiec) is an oligotrophic lake part of the Gąsienicowe Ponds, located in the Tatra Mountains in Poland. The lake is located in the western part of the Gąsienicowa Valley, at an elevation of 1,686 metres (5,531 ft).

Zielony Staw Gąsienicowy (Polish: Zielony Staw Gąsienicowy) is a tarn in Poland, part of the Gąsienicowe Ponds in the High Tatras. The lake is located at an elevation of 1,672 metres (5,486 ft) in a corrie of the Skrajna pyramidal peak. The tarn was formerly named Suczy Staw. Zielony Staw Gąsienicowy is the largest lake in the Zielona Gąsienicowa Valley.

Magura is a peak located in the Kasprowy Wierch massif, part of the Western Tatras in Poland. The peak is located between the Uhrocie Kasprowe and the Mała Kopa Królowa in the Western Tatras.The name of the peak originates from the Vlachs, pastoral peoples which introduced grazing to the Tatra Mountains. In their language, the name for the peak relates to a small, isolated peak. Formerly, the peak was named Kopa Jaworzyńska or Kopa, and was grazed on, being part of the Królowa Tundra. The slopes of the peak as a result of excess pasturage underwent strong erosion. At present the flora has regrown on the peak, covering it with creeping pine and grassland.

Kasprowy Wierch (Polish pronunciation: [kasˈprɔvɨ ˈvjɛrx]; Slovak; Kasprov vrch; sometimes in Kasper Peak) is a peak of a long crest in the Western Tatras one of Poland's main winter ski areas. Its dominant southern crests mark the border with Slovakia. It is accessible in most conditions by foot and daily by cablecar.

Kmeťov (Slovak: Kmeťov vodopád) is glacial waterfall in the High Tatras at about 1,245 metres (4,085 ft) in Poprad District, Slovakia. At about 80 metres (260 ft) (some sources say 90 metres (300 ft)), Kmeťov is the highest waterfall in Slovakia.

Kriváň () is a mountain in the High Tatras, Slovakia, that dominates the upper part of the former Liptov County. Multiple surveys among nature lovers have ranked it as the country's most beautiful peak. Readily accessible along maintained marked trails and with the exceptional vistas afforded from its summit, it is the hikers' favorite mountain in the western part of the High Tatras. Kriváň has also been a major symbol in Slovak ethnic and national activism for the past two centuries. It has been referenced in works of art from 19th-century literature, through paintings, film documentaries, to a Polish rock track. A country-wide vote in 2005 selected it to be one of the images on Slovakia's euro coins.
