Abergavenny Priory Deer Park

The Sugar Loaf, sometimes called Sugar Loaf (Welsh: Mynydd Pen-y-fâl or Y Fâl), is a hill situated 2 miles (3.2 km) north-west of Abergavenny in Monmouthshire, Wales and sits within the Brecon Beacons National Park. It is the southernmost of the summit peaks of the Black Mountains, with a height of 1,955 feet (596 metres). Sugar Loaf was gifted to the National Trust by suffragette Lady Rhondda.

The Abergavenny fireworks display is an annual organized fireworks display held each year on 5 November, Guy Fawkes Night in Abergavenny, Wales. The event takes place in Belgrave Park, at the Nevill Hall Hospital end of town (not at the hospital itself). It has been running each year since 1968. The event is run and organized by the local social networking club Abergavenny and District Round Table, which is one of the branches in the UK of the Round Table. It is a non profit event with all proceeds being distributed to charities and good causes, primarily in and around the Abergavenny area. Pen-y-Pound is a cricket ground in Abergavenny, Wales. It is the home of Abergavenny Cricket Club, who play in the South Wales Cricket League. The ground was first used by the Glamorgan 1st XI in 1981 for limited over matches and in 1983 for County Championship matches. Between 1985 and 1997, the ground hosted a County Championship match annually. However, Glamorgan have only used the ground twice since then. The ground has hosted 16 first-class matches, including Glamorgan v Bangladesh A in 2005 and 3 List A matches, including Wales Minor Counties v Denmark, a Cheltenham and Gloucester Trophy match, in 2003. The Church of St Peter, Llanwenarth, Monmouthshire is a parish church with reported origins in the 6/7th centuries. The current building dates from the early 14th century. Rebuilt in the 19th century, it was listed Grade II* in 1956. It remains an active Church in Wales church in the parish of Llanwenarth Citra.

Abergavenny Town Football Club is a Welsh association football club based in the town of Abergavenny, Monmouthshire, The team play in the Cymru South, tier 2 of the Welsh football pyramid. They play at Pen-Y-Pound Stadium in Abergavenny. The club was founded in June 2014 after local side Govilon changed their name, eleven months after the former club Abergavenny Thursdays folded, citing a lack of players as the reason.

Coed-y-Cerrig National Nature Reserve is located at the bottom of a deep valley in the Black Mountains, about 3.7 miles (6.0 km) north of Abergavenny and 2 miles (3.2 km) west of Llanfihangel Crucorney in Wales. Despite its small size, the reserve has a variety of wet and dry woodland habitats, making it rich in wildlife. Its moist valley floor is covered by an unusual type of alder woodland rich in fungi in the autumn.

Bryn Arw is a hill in the Black Mountains of the Brecon Beacons National Park in Monmouthshire, south Wales. It lies 4 km north of the town of Abergavenny and 1.5 miles west of the village of Llanvihangel Crucorney. Its summit at 384m (1260 feet) above sea level is the more northerly of two tops which lie on the crest of a slightly arcuate north-south ridge which drops away to the south at first gently and then sharply. The hill is isolated from the main mass of the range by the valleys of Cwm Coed-y-cerig to the north and by Cwm Brynarw to the west. It is a Marilyn.

The Church of Our Lady and St Michael in Abergavenny, Monmouthshire, is a Roman Catholic parish church. A Grade II* listed building, it was built between 1858 and 1860 to a design by Benjamin Bucknall.
