Belfaux

Belfaux CFF railway station (French: Gare de Belfaux CFF) is a railway station in the municipality of Belfaux, in the Swiss canton of Fribourg. It is an intermediate stop on the standard gauge Fribourg–Yverdon line of Swiss Federal Railways. The station is 750 metres (2,460 ft) south of Belfaux-Village on the Fribourg–Ins line.

Autafond is a former municipality in the district of Sarine in the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland. On 1 January 2016, Autafond was annexed by the municipality of Belfaux.

La Sonnaz (French pronunciation: ​[la sɔna]) is a municipality in the district of Sarine in the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland. The municipality was created in 2004 through the merger of Cormagens, La Corbaz and Lossy-Formangueires. The municipal administration, the kindergarten and the primary school are in Lossy.

Chésopelloz (French: [ʃezopɛlo]; Arpitan: Chesâlpèlo, locally Tsèjopèlou [tsɛʒoˈpɛlu] (listen)) is a former municipality in the district of Sarine in the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland. The municipality of Chésopelloz on 1 January 2017 merged into Corminboeuf.

Givisiez railway station (French: Gare de Givisiez) is a railway station in the municipality of Givisiez, in the Swiss canton of Fribourg. It is located at the junction of the standard gauge Fribourg–Ins line of Transports publics Fribourgeois and the Fribourg–Yverdon line of Swiss Federal Railways.The current facility opened on 15 December 2019, replacing a platform to the west. The new station has additional track capacity and a longer platform permitting additional service.

It is largely French-speaking, with a German-speaking minority. Its territory is drained by the Sarine river (which gives it its name), and by its tributary, the Glâne.
