The Magazzini Contratti is a historic commercial building in Milan, Italy.

The Piccolo Teatro di Milano (translation: "Little Theatre of the City of Milan") is a theatre in Milan, Italy. Founded in 1947, it is Italy's first permanent theatre, and a national "teatro stabile", or permanent repertory company, and is considered a theatre of major national and European importance. The theatre has three venues: Teatro Grassi, in Via Rovello, between Sforza Castle and the Piazza del Duomo; Teatro Studio, which was originally intended to be the theater's rehearsal hall; and Teatro Strehler, which opened in 1998 with a seating capacity of 974. Its annual programme consists of approximately thirty performances. In addition, the venue hosts cultural events, from festivals and films, to concerts, conferences, and conventions, as well as supporting the Paolo Grassi Drama School.

The Palazzo Dal Verme was the noble residence of one of the most powerful families of the Visconti and Sforza court in the 15th century. The courtyard remains today, one of the greatest examples of civil construction from the Renaissance era in Milan. It is located at 3 Via Giacomo Puccini.

Palazzo Carmagnola (formerly Broletto Nuovissimo from 1786 to 1861) is a palazzo quattrocentesco in Milano, which was remodelled several times in the following centuries. Historically belonging to the Sestiere di Porta Comasina, it is located in via Rovello 2.

Piazza Cordusio (also informally referred to as Piazzale Cordusio) is a square in central Milan, Italy. The piazza takes its name from the Cors Ducis (Ducal court) which was located on the square during Longobard times. It is well known for its several turn-of-the-19th-century Neoclassical, eclectic and Art Nouveau buildings, banks and post offices. Even though many of these have now relocated elsewhere, it is still an important commercial square in the city and hosts the Palazzo delle Assicurazioni Generali (Palace of the Assicurazioni Generali), the Palazzo del Credito Italiano (Palace of the Credito Italiano) and the Palazzo delle Poste (Palace of the Post Office), former Borsa di Milano (former Milan Stock Exchange). Piazzale Cordusio hosts the Cordusio metro station and is the starting point of the elegant pedestrian Via Dante which leads to the imposing medieval Castello Sforzesco, or Milan Castle. Opposite to Via Dante, Cordusio borders onto Piazza Mercanti, former city centre in the Middle Ages, which leads directly to Piazza del Duomo, today's city centre.

Cordusio is a station on Line 1 of the Milan Metro in the busy, commercial Piazzale Cordusio. It was opened on 1 November 1964 as part of the inaugural section of the Metro, between Sesto Marelli and Lotto. The station is near the piazza del Duomo, and the long via Dante, which leads up to the Castello Sforzesco. As with the square in which it is located, it takes its name from the Curia Ducis, the Court of Duke: this name dates back to the Longobard period.

Via Dante today is a pedestrian street in central Milan, Italy, connecting Piazzale Cordusio (and the Cordusio metro station) with Largo Cairoli (Cairoli metro station). It is near to the city's Castello Sforzesco and is named after the Florentine poet Dante Alighieri. It is known for its theatres, shops, restaurants, cafés, bars, and palazzi ― townhouses or „palaces“, elegant city residences of nobles and wealthy citizens (cognate with french term palais, see also palazzo (disambiguation)). The street has numerous fine buildings, mainly from the 18th and 19th centuries. Notable ones include the city's Piccolo Teatro (literally "small theatre"). Up until 1958, the street contained several transport links as well as a tramway line. In 1996 it was converted to a fully pedestrianised area, the Milan Metro can be accessed through stations nearby.

The Palazzo delle Assicurazioni Generali, also known as Palazzo Venezia, is a historic building situated in Piazza Cordusio in Milan, Italy.

Palazzo Mezzanotte, also known as Palazzo delle Borse ("Stock Exchange Palace") is a 20th-century building of Milan, Italy, and the seat of the Italian stock exchange. It is located in Piazza Affari ("Business Square"), the city square after which the Italian stock exchange itself is nicknamed. The name "Palazzo Mezzanotte" is a reference to Paolo Mezzanotte, the architect who designed the building.

L.O.V.E., commonly known as Il Dito (Italian for "The Finger") is a modern sculpture of a hand with all the fingers severed with the exception of the middle finger. The sculpture is located in Piazza degli Affari in (Milan), the square where the Italian stock exchange is located. The name L.O.V.E. is the acronym of Libertà, Odio, Vendetta, Eternità ("Freedom, Hatred, Revenge, Eternity"), symbolized by the obscene gesture. The sculpture, built in 2010, was supposed to remain in the square for just two weeks, but it is still present today.The creator, Maurizio Cattelan, never disclosed the exact meaning of the sculpture, stating that the meaning is in the imagination of everyone. The two most common explanations are that it represents an erosion of the Fascist salute and that it is a protest against financial institutions after the financial crisis of 2007–2008. Indeed, the sculpture is in front of the Palazzo Mezzanotte, a building built during fascism and today hosting the Italian stock exchange.
