Schattendorf (Croatian: Šundrof, Hungarian: Somfalva) is a town in the district of Mattersburg in the Austrian state of Burgenland. The Rosalia-Kogelberg nature preserve lies within the district.

Sopronbánfalva (German: Wandorf), also known as Bánfalva, is a former village part of the city of Sopron, Hungary, since 1950. Before 1945, the village had 3,304 inhabitants, with the majority being ethnic Germans. However, many were deported, remaining only approximately 700 inhabitants after the event. This happened due to the desire to, among other things, secure the border with Austria.

In addition, it features a hotel, a restaurant and a fitness center.In 2005, the managing company of Uniqua Euroleasing Sopron, Raabersport Kft. acquired the operating rights of the arena, and completely renovated it.

The Sopron Mountains (Hungarian: Soproni-hegység, Soproni-hg., German: Ödenburger Gebirge), occasionally also called the Ödenburg Mountains, is a low mountain range which forms the eastward extension of the Eastern Alps in Europe. It is part of the Alpokalja area of Hungary and also of the Burgenland. It is located close to the city of Sopron in western Hungary. Its highest point is the Brenntenriegel, at 606 metres above sea level.
