Parkettes National Gymnastics Training Center, widely known as Parkettes, is a gymnastics club located in Allentown, Pennsylvania. It has produced several teams and individual gymnasts representing the United States, the Czech Republic, and Canada in international meets, including the Olympic Games.

Trout Hall is an historic home located at Allentown in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. One of the older homes in Allentown (1910 Walnut Street is the oldest), it was built between 1768 and 1770, and is a two-and-one-half-story, built with stone in Georgian architectural style. Built as a summer home by James Allen, the third son of William Allen, founder of Allentown, it currently houses the library and museum of the Lehigh County Historical Society.

The school is located at 4th and Walnut Streets in Allentown. It serves students in grades 6 through 12. As of the 2022–23 school year, the school had an enrollment of 628 students, according to National Center for Education Statistics data. Approximately 94% of the students then enrolled at Roberto Clemente Charter School were Hispanic. In 2011, Roberto Clemente Charter School applied to the Allentown School Board to broaden its program to include kindergarten through 5th grades. The application was denied by the Allentown School Board 5 against-4 vote. The Charter School's board appealed to the Pennsylvania Charter School Appeal Board, which in August 2013 reversed the Allentown School Board's denial decision, allowing the expansion of the charter school. In March 2014, Roberto Clemente Charter School reached an agreement to purchase a school building on Cedar Street in Allentown. Roberto Clemente Charter School is named for Roberto Clemente, a 12-time Gold Glove Award winner with the Pittsburgh Pirates whose Major League Baseball career was cut short by his 1972 death in a plane crash. Roberto Clemente Charter School is one of four public charter schools operating in Lehigh County in 2013. According to the Pennsylvania Department of Education, in 2012, there were 50,605 children in Lehigh County who were enrolled in public charter schools.

The Hotel Sterling is an historic hotel, which is located in Allentown, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. Built between 1889 and 1890, it is a three-story rectangular brick building that was designed in the Romanesque Revival style with Queen Anne and Eastlake influences.

The district is the fourth-largest school district in Pennsylvania as of the 2016-17 school year.The school district includes two large urban public high schools, Allen High School and Dieruff High School, each based in Allentown, for ninth through 12th grades. As of the 2022-23 school year, 15,999 students attend its 22 schools, according to data released by the National Center for Education Statistics. The school district encompasses approximately 17 square miles (44 km2). As of the 2020 census, the Allentown School District serves a resident population of 125,845. In 2009, the per capita income was $16,282 and median family income was $37,356 compared to a Pennsylvania median family income of $49,501 and overall U.S. median family income of $49,445 as of the 2010 census.The school district's demographics, as of 2016-17, are 9.9% White, 14.5% Black, 70.9% Hispanic, 1.3% Asian, and 0.2% Native American High school students in Allentown School District may choose to attend Lehigh Career and Technical Institute for vocational training.

Gauff-Roth House is a historic home located at 427 to 443 Auburn Street in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The house features a wraparound porch, third floor balcony, a polygonal turret, and a hipped roof with multiple gables and dormers.

The Old Lehigh County Courthouse is a historic county courthouse located at 503 West Hamilton Street in Allentown, Pennsylvania. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1981.

The Allentown Art Museum of the Lehigh Valley is an art museum located in Allentown, Pennsylvania. It was founded in 1934 by a group organized by Walter Emerson Baum, a Pennsylvania impressionist painter. The museum maintains a collection of over 19,000 works of art and is a major regional art institution. The museum also maintains a library and archives containing over 16,000 titles and 40 current periodicals.

The Baum School of Art is a non-profit community art school located in Allentown, Pennsylvania. In 2016–2017, the school had a total enrollment of 3,346 students, 1,921 of which were children and teens, and 1,425 of which were adults. 178 classes were offered for children and teens, and 168 for adult students.

Americus Hotel is an historic hotel, which is located in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Built between 1926 and 1927, it is a 13-story yellow brick building located 541 West Hamilton Street in Center City Allentown.The hotel has a classic 1920s Jazz Age design and was built by a group of Allentown businessmen who wanted to erect a first-class hotel in Center City Allentown, the city's central business district.In 1984, in recognition of its historic significance, the hotel was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The hotel also has been named one of the nation's Historic Hotels of America by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

Miller Symphony Hall is a 1,100-seat performing arts facility in Allentown, Pennsylvania that hosts the Allentown Symphony Orchestra. The hall was previously known as Central Market (1896), Lyric Theater (1899), and Allentown Symphony Hall (1959). In 2012, it was renamed for the Miller family, longtime owners of the hall and of The Morning Call newspaper.

The High German Evangelical Reformed Church, also known as Zion Reformed and Zion United Church of Christ, is an historic Evangelical and Reformed church, located at 622 West Hamilton Street in Allentown, Pennsylvania in the Lehigh Valley region of eastern Pennsylvania. During the American Revolutionary War, the church was selected as the site to hide and protect the Liberty Bell from seizure as British troops prepared the Philadelphia campaign, designed to attack and occupy the revolutionary capital in Philadelphia. The Liberty Bell was hidden beneath floor boards in the church for nine months, from September 1777 until the British ultimately departed Philadelphia in June 1778. Until 2023, the church houseed the Liberty Bell Museum, established to honor the role that Allentown and Lehigh Valley-area American patriots played in successfully guarding America's national symbol of freedom.
