Trinity School at River Ridge is a private Christian school in Eagan, Minnesota, United States. It provides an education rooted in classical Christian education to students in grades 6-12. The school is located at 601 River Ridge Parkway, Suite 200, in Eagan, Minnesota 55121, this 1996, 2008, and 2019 Blue Ribbon school is accredited by North Central Association and Independent School Association of the Central States (NCA/ISACS). The River Ridge campus was founded in 1987 by the People of Praise, a Christian community. It is owned and operated by Trinity Schools, Inc, based in South Bend, Indiana. The River Ridge campus has two sister schools, Greenlawn in South Bend and Meadow View in Falls Church, Virginia.

Visitation School, also known as Visitation or Vis, is an independent, all-girls, Roman Catholic, college-preparatory, school in Minnesota. It is located in Mendota Heights near Saint Paul. Visitation is a coeducational school for grades Montessori PreK-grade 5, and all-girls for grades 6-12. Visitation is the only all-girls secondary school in Minnesota. A brother school, Saint Thomas Academy, is located across the street and many classes and after school activities involve both schools. Depending on the sport or activity, some of its rival schools are Cretin-Derham Hall, Breck School, St. Paul Academy and Summit School, and The Blake School.

St. Thomas Ice Arena is a 1,000-seat ice hockey arena in Mendota Heights, Minnesota. It is home to the University of St. Thomas Tommies ice hockey programs and was opened in 2003.

Saint Thomas Academy (abbr. STA), originally known as St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary and formerly known as St. Thomas Military Academy, is the only all male, Roman Catholic, college-preparatory, military high school in Minnesota. It is located in Mendota Heights near Saint Paul. The Academy has a middle school (grades 6-8) and a high school (grades 9-12). The high school students are required to participate in military leadership classes, as the school was previously part of Army JROTC. Its sister school, Convent of the Visitation, is located across the street. Many classes and after school activities involve both schools. It is located within the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis.

Rogers Lake is a lake in Dakota County, in the U.S. state of Minnesota.Rogers Lake was named for E. G. Rogers, a pioneer farmer who settled there.Wagon Wheel Trail divides the two sections of the lake (the northern is sometimes referred to as "Mendakota Lake") which are connected by a culvert (a popular fishing spot). The south shore is occupied by Saint Thomas Academy and the Patterson Companies headquarters. Interstate 35E is routed along the western shore. A paved trail runs between 35E and the lake, from Mendota Heights Road to Rogers Lake Parm. The park is located on the northwest corner of the lower lake, and is a popular area for fishing and skateboarding in the summer. Mendakota Country Club surrounds the northern section. The remainder of the shoreline is occupied by private homes and accompanying land.

Two Rivers High School (formerly known as Henry Sibley High School), located in Mendota Heights, Minnesota, United States, was founded in 1954. The current school was built in 1971 to serve students in grades 9–12. Today, it serves students in grades 9–12 and houses the district’s administrative offices. It underwent extensive remodeling of several areas in the school thanks to passage of a facilities and technology referendum in 2004. It serves as the public high school for the communities of Mendota Heights, Mendota, Sunfish Lake, Lilydale, West St. Paul and parts of Inver Grove Heights and Eagan. It is a member of the Metro East Conference. It was formerly named for Henry Hastings Sibley and in 2021, the District 197 School Board voted to change the name to Two Rivers High School. The change was prompted by the reexamination of Sibley's role in the Dakota War of 1862 and the country's largest mass execution.

Beth Jacob Congregation is a Conservative Jewish synagogue located in Mendota Heights, Minnesota, United States. It was founded in 1985 and has a membership of 400 families. Beth Jacob is a community of Jews who come together to nurture relationships with God and each other. It is a Conservative synagogue that values Torah (study), Avodah (reverential service) and Gemilut Hasadim (acts of loving kindness). Men, women and children have equal opportunity to be part of the community.

Located in Mendota Heights, Minnesota, the school offers Associate in Applied Science degrees in Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts and Le Cordon Bleu Patisserie & Baking and a Certificate Program in Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts. All US Le Cordon Bleu College locations are scheduled to close in 2017.
