Sy railway station

Sy is a village of Wallonia in the municipality of Ferrières, district of Vieuxville, located in the province of Liège, Belgium. It is located in the Famenne and lays south of the city of Liège in the Belgian Ardennes near the Ourthe. This is also the village where the Belgian painter Richard Heintz (1871-1929) made some of his paintings and later died.

Lassus Castle (French: Château de Lassus, or Hamoir-Lassus) is a château in Hamoir, Liège Province, Wallonia, Belgium. The château, which stands on the banks of the Ourthe, was formerly the residence of the hereditary mayors of the village. The oldest part is a small donjon of the early 14th century. Long the property of the de Maillen family, the buildings were entirely remodelled in the 18th century in the Louis XIVth style. Another major remodelling was carried out between 1907 and 1920 under the supervision of then-owner "Puck" Chaudoir, a wealthy banker from Liège. Of the important outbuildings and supporting structures of the medieval and 18th century phases there now remain only the stables and barns surrounding a courtyard. The least modernised parts of the principal building are the river frontage and the donjon. As well as a small internal chapel set up in 1633 by the de Maillen family, there is a chapel dedicated to Saint Peter opposite the castle, founded in 1396. The Renaissance interior contains tombstones of the de Donéa and de Maillen families.

Bomal (French pronunciation: [bɔmal]; Walloon: Boumål-so-Oûte) is a village of Wallonia and a district of the municipality of Durbuy, located in the province of Luxembourg, Belgium. It is located at the confluence of the rivers Ourthe and Aisne. It was previously a municipality until the fusion of municipalities in 1977. Bomal has a railway station which is on the line running between Liège and Marloie via Marche-en-Famenne. Along the line to the south-west is the station of Melreux-Hotton and to the north is the station of Sy.

Barvaux-sur-Ourthe (French pronunciation: [baʁvo syʁ uʁt], lit. 'Barvaux on Ourthe'; Walloon: Barvea-so-Oûte) is a village of Wallonia and a district of the municipality of Durbuy, located in the province of Luxembourg, Belgium. It is situated on the Ourthe river, in the Ardennes forest in eastern Belgium. It is a former municipality. With a traditional farming history going back hundreds of years, after World War II it became a vibrant tourist destination, often visited in conjunction with Durbuy, the so-called smallest city in the world. Barvaux has a railway station which is on the line running between Liège and Marloie via Marche-en-Famenne. Along the line to the south-west is the station of Melreux-Hotton and to the north-east is the station of Bomal.

Ouffet (French pronunciation: [ufɛ]; Walloon: Oufet) is a municipality of Wallonia located in the province of liège, Belgium. On January 1, 2006, Ouffet had a total population of 2,529. The total area is 40.22 km2 which gives a population density of 63 inhabitants per km2. The municipality consists of the following districts: Ellemelle, Ouffet, and Warzée.

Villers-Sainte-Gertrude (Walloon: Viyé-Sinte-Djetrou) is a village of Wallonia and a district of the municipality of Durbuy, located in the province of Luxembourg, Belgium. Villers-Sainte-Gertrude has been part of the province of Luxembourg only since 1839. Before that, it was part of the department of the Ourthe. The communities of Deux Rys and Roche à Frêne (detached from Harre) were attached to it in 1826. It was a fully-fledged municipality before the fusion of municipalities in 1977, and is now part of the Belgian town of Durbuy. The district consists of Grand-Bru and Villers-Sainte-Gertrude and of the localities Moulin des Roches, Hiva and Champs des Cognées. The village, located on a ridge at the foot of which flows the Aisne, a small tributary of the Ourthe and the stream of Vieux-Fourneau is a pleasant resort highly frequented by tourists during the summer period.

On January 1, 2006, Ferrières had a total population of 4,449. The total area is 56.90 km² with a population density of 78 inhabitants per km². The municipality consists of the following districts: Ferrières, My (pronounced "Mee"), Vieuxville (including the hamlet of Sy), Werbomont, and Xhoris.

The total area is 37.08 km² which gives a population density of 108 inhabitants per km². The municipality consists of the following districts: Anthisnes, Hody, Tavier, and Villers-aux-Tours.

Comblain-au-Pont (French pronunciation: ​[kɔ̃blɛ̃ o pɔ̃]; Walloon: Comblin-å-Pont) is a municipality of Wallonia located in the province of Liège, Belgium. As of 1 January 2014 Comblain-au-Pont had a total population of 6,754. The total area is 22.68 km² which gives a population density of 237 inhabitants per km². It is situated at the confluence of the rivers Amblève and Ourthe. The municipality consists of the following districts: Comblain-au-Pont and Poulseur.
