Harrow Hill is a village situated in the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire, England. It is contiguous with the larger village of Drybrook. Originally, the village was known as Harry Hill. "Until fairly recently the village was once called Harry Hill" The Harrow Hill church, Holy Trinity, was opened in 1817, and is known as The Forest Church. The village has its own football club, Harrow Hill F.C. The main route that bisects the village is Trinity Road. This links the village to Drybrook and the A4136 (Gloucester to Monmouth). At the halfway point of the road stands a battle weary red telephone box, which is sadly in a state of neglect. From here, there are good views across the valley to Ruardean Hill. The Football club can be found at the end of Larksfield Road, and is easily located by the floodlight towers that stand on the corners of the main pitch (a further pitch is located adjacent to the car park).

Steam Mills is a village in the Forest of Dean, west Gloucestershire, England. During the 18th and 19th centuries there were local coal mines and a steam-powered mill, which lead to the name of the village. An engineering works was established in the 1880s to support the mining.Today the village has an industrial park for businesses (including Freeminers Brewery, named after the Forest of Dean custom of free-mining), a petrol filling station and a carpet shop. The village is home to Steam Mills Primary School designed by architect Alfred Smith. The 5 acres (2.0 ha) lake is used for angling with Carp, Bream and Brown Trout being caught.

Ruardean Hill is a prominent hill and a village in the English county of Gloucestershire, 20 km (12 mi) west of Gloucester. It lies in the Forest of Dean, in the parish of Drybrook. The southern slopes are wooded and are part of the northern edge of the Forest of Dean. The hill forms part of a low range of hills separating the River Severn from the River Wye. The hill's summit is the highest point in the Forest of Dean. A mostly friendly community, there is a local post office and village shop in neighbouring Ruardean Woodside. The village and surrounding areas are well served by Ruardean Hill Sports and Social Club.
