Box Hill Institute

Box Hill railway station is located on the Lilydale and Belgrave lines in Victoria, Australia. It serves the eastern Melbourne suburb of Box Hill, and it opened on 1 December 1882.The station is located beneath the Box Hill Central Shopping Centre. East of the station, towards Lilydale and Belgrave, the three tracks merge into two.

Box Hill Central Shopping Centre is a regional shopping centre complex (made up of two separate centres) located in the eastern Melbourne suburb of Box Hill in Victoria, Australia. It is approximately 16 kilometres (10 mi) east of Melbourne's central business district and both shopping centres are centrally located within the Box Hill shopping precinct and Whitehorse City Council's Principal Activity Centre.

The electoral district of Box Hill is an electoral district of the Victorian Legislative Assembly, covering an area of 29 square kilometres (11 sq mi) in eastern Melbourne. The City of Box Hill was a local government area about 15 kilometres (9 mi) east of Melbourne, the state capital of Victoria, Australia. The city covered an area of 21.50 square kilometres (8.30 sq mi), and existed from 1927 until 1994.

Box Hill Senior Secondary College (BHSSC) is a state-run co-educational senior secondary school located in Box Hill, Victoria, Australia. The senior school has a three-year curriculum, composed of years ten - twelve. Year 9 are offered at the Middle Years Sports Campus. Box Hill Senior Secondary College has no feeder schools, new students are welcomed from all over Melbourne, but are only selected after interview. Box Hill Senior Secondary College is also the location of the Middle Years Sports Campus, which was established in 2005. The Middle Years Sports Campus also includes an AFL football academy for Year 9 students. Students of the Middle Years Sports Campus have access to all Box Hill Senior Secondary College's facilities to help them learn.

The Box Hill Town Hall is a landmark civic building located (at 37.8191°S 145.1266°E / -37.8191; 145.1266) on Whitehorse Road, Box Hill, Victoria, Australia. Designed in the Neo-Grec style by architects JS Gawler and JCA Isbett, the town hall was built between 1934 and 1935. It was the administrative and community headquarters of the City of Box Hill prior to that city’s amalgamation with the City of Nunawading to form the new City of Whitehorse in 1994.The town hall is described as having "regional architectural, historic and social importance" by the National Trust of Australia (Victoria). Its imposing façade has been utilised by the television series Neighbours as the external setting for the court house in the fictional town of Erinsborough. The interior includes a main hall and other community and meeting spaces. There are two dates engraved on the town hall’s portico – 1927, the year Box Hill was proclaimed a city, and 1994, the year of amalgamation. The crest of the former City of Box Hill is also featured on the portico. In 2006, the town hall underwent a $6.5 million redevelopment as a hub for community-based services and programs and a home for the City of Whitehorse arts and historical collections.

Mont Albert is an inner eastern suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 12 kilometres east of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the Cities of Boroondara and Whitehorse local government areas. Mont Albert recorded a population of 4,948 at the 2021 census.The main shopping centre of Mont Albert is Hamilton Street, a small street lined with shops. The suburb has its own railway station.

Box Hill North recorded a population of 12,337 at the 2021 census.Box Hill North's boundaries are Koonung Creek in the north, Elgar Road in the west, Middleborough Road in the east, and Thames Street in the south. The eastern part of Box Hill North is also known as Kerrimuir. In the 12-month period to January 2020 Box Hill North reported a median house price of A$1.03 million for a three bedroom house.

Mont Albert North is a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 13 km east of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Whitehorse local government area. Mont Albert North recorded a population of 5,609 at the 2021 census.The northern border of the suburb is the Eastern Freeway and the southern border is Kenmare Street, while Elgar Road constitutes the boundary in the east. The western boundary is a series of back streets running close to Union Road. This boundary follows the municipal boundary with the City of Boroondara. In the 12-month period to January 2020 Mont Albert North reported a median house price of A$1.15 million for a three bedroom house.

Our Lady of Sion College is a Catholic school for girls located in Box Hill, Melbourne, Australia. The college educates around 950 girls from Year 7 to Year 12. The current principal is Tina Apostolopoulos. The school is run by the RC Sisters of Sion, a religious order committed to improving Jewish-Christian relations.
