Berglimattsee

Garichtisee is a reservoir on Mettmenalp above Schwanden in the Canton of Glarus, Switzerland. The lake's surface area is 16 ha (40 acres).

Chüebodensee is a lake above Elm in the Canton of Glarus, Switzerland. Its surface area is 1.4 ha. There are about 8 km of well established trails around the lake. The lake is within the Glarner Freiberg wildlife preserve. The lake can be reached from Elm by taking the Elm-Ämpächli gondola to Ämpächlialp and hiking over well marked trails. The trip from Ämpächlialp to the lake and back will generally take about 4 hours.

The Blistock (also spelled Blistögg) is a mountain of the Glarus Alps, overlooking Elm in the canton of Glarus. It lies on the range between the small valley of the Garichtisee and the Sernftal, north of the Kärpf. It is composed of three summits: the Vorder Blistock (2,405 m), the Mittler Blistock (2,448 m) and the Hinter Blistock (2,446 m).

The Gandstock (2,315 m) is a mountain of the Glarus Alps, located south-east of Schwanden in the canton of Glarus. It lies at the northern end of the range separating the main Linth valley from the Sernftal, north of the Kärpf. On its west side is located the Garichtisee.

The Kärpf (or Chärpf) is a mountain in the Glarus Alps, at an elevation of 2,794 m (9,167 ft). The Kärpf is the highest point of the massif lying north of Richetli Pass (2,261 m or 7,418 ft). This range separates the two main valleys of Glarus: the main Linth valley with the village of Linthal on the west and the Sernftal with the village of Elm on the east.On the north side of the Kärpf is located a small valley, which is occupied by a lake, the Garichtisee. Administratively, the mountain lies in the municipality of Glarus Süd, in the canton of Glarus.

Schwanden railway station (German: Bahnhof Schwanden) is a railway station in the municipality of Glarus Süd in the Swiss canton of Glarus. It is an intermediate stop on the Weesen to Linthal railway line, and serves the village of Schwanden.Between 1905 and 1969, the station was the terminus of the Sernftal tramway, a metre gauge tramway that ran up the valley of the Sernf to Elm, and was the predecessor of the Sernftalbus service on the same route.

Mitlödi railway station (German: Bahnhof Mitlödi) is a railway station in the municipality of Glarus Süd in the Swiss canton of Glarus. It is an intermediate stop on the Weesen to Linthal railway line, and serves the village of Mitlödi.The station is served by Zürich S-Bahn service S25 between Zurich and Linthal, and by St. Gallen S-Bahn service S6 between Rapperswil and Schwanden. Both services operate once per hour, combining to provide two trains per hour between Ziegelbrücke and Schwanden.

Elm (Romansh: ) is a village, and former municipality, in the municipality of Glarus Süd and canton of Glarus in Switzerland. Elm lies in the valley of the Sernf river, and consists of the village of Elm itself, and the hamlets of Sulzbach, Schwändi, Müsli, Untertal, Vogelsang, Töniberg, Obmoos, Steinibach and Wald.
