Koševo City Stadium

Horde Zla (English: Hordes of Evil) is the organized Ultras group that supports Bosnian football club FK Sarajevo. The group's logo consists of a stylized depiction of the Grim Reaper, borrowed from a Zagor comic book at the time of the group's inception. Horde zla is one of two major football fan groups in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Apart from FK Sarajevo, the group also supports KK Bosna Royal and RK Bosna Sarajevo. The group's organizational structure is fairly decentralized with many subgroups present at the stadium's north stand – the gathering point of the club's most loyal and passionate fans. Some of the most well known subgroups are Outlaws, Maroon Brothers, Vutrasi, Fina Gradska Raja and Downtown.

The FK Sarajevo Youth School (Bosnian: Omladinski pogon Fudbalskog kluba Sarajevo), is the youth department for Bosnian football club FK Sarajevo and is considered to be the best in the country. The department is split into two sections. Namely, The Asim Ferhatović Hase School of Football (Bosnian: Škola fudbala Asim Ferhatović Hase), named after legendary striker Asim Ferhatović, and the FK Sarajevo Academy (Bosnian: Akademija fudbalskog kluba Sarajevo). The former functions as both a general model for the popularization of the sport and as a filtering mechanism, used to pick out locally based footballing talents which are later transferred to the academy. The academy, in turn, is a top-of-the-line boarding school which brings in the biggest talents from Bosnia and Herzegovina and organizes the competitive youth selections for the club. The Youth school has teams for the Under-8 through to the Under-16 age groups, while the academy is split into the U-15 (younger cadets), U-17 (older cadets) and U-19 (junior) selections. The department was founded in the 1950s and has been historically known as one of the best youth systems in the former Yugoslavia. Its training philosophy is not only the development of football players, but also the care for the players' growth, education and character formation, while teaching the sporting spirit and loyalty to the club. The youth teams, besides national competitions, participate in numerous tournaments around Europe, testing their skills against some of the best European clubs. Tournaments the club's youth selection traditionally take part in include Kvarnerska Rivijera, Trofeo Dossena, Generali CEE Cup and the Karol Wojtyla Cup.FK Sarajevo's youth selections train in two venues. Namely, the Asim Ferhatović Hase Sports Complex and the elite Butmir Training Centre, which is currently under expansion as of February 2015. Youth team players that don't sign professional contracts with the club are usually transferred to FK Sarajevo's farm team, NK Bosna Visoko. The FK Sarajevo youth system has given numerous Bosnian and Yugoslav internationals throughout the decades.

The Juan Antonio Samaranch Olympic Hall (Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian: Olimpijska dvorana Juan Antonio Samaranch / Олимпијска дворана Хуан Антонио Самаран; formerly Zetra Olympic Hall) is an indoor multi-purpose arena in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Named in honor of Juan Antonio Samaranch in 2010 after his death, it was used for various sporting events at the 1984 Winter Olympics, and as the main venue of the 2019 European Youth Olympic Winter Festival.

The Zetra Ice Rink or Zetra Stadium (Bosnian: Olimpijska Dvorana Zetra) is an outdoor venue located in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Constructed between 1981 and 1982, it hosted the speed skating events for the 1984 Winter Olympics. This venue is located near the Olympic Hall Juan Antonio Samaranch, formerly known as the Zetra Ice Rink.

Koševo (Cyrillic: Кошево) is a neighborhood in the municipality of Centar in central Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is located between the older parts of the city under Stari Grad and the newer more modern parts of the city under the municipality of Novo Sarajevo.The Koševo City Stadium and Zetra Olympic Hall, at which the opening and closing ceremonies of the 1984 Winter Olympics were held, are part of a huge sport complex, which includes the Faculty of Sport and Physical Culture and the university's swimming pool as well, located in Koševo. Also, the city's zoo-park Pionirska dolina (Pioneer's Valley), Groblje Lav (Lion Cemetery) and the city's maternity and children's hospital are located within the boundaries of the neighborhood. Many famous Sarajevans are from Koševo, such as members of the rock band Zabranjeno Pušenje and others. Koševo is home to 10,809 residents.

Centar (Cyrillic: Центар, lit. ”Center") is a municipality of the city of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is located between the older parts of the city under Stari Grad, and the newer more modern parts of the city under the municipalities Novi Grad and Novo Sarajevo. The Centar municipality is the administrative, business, commercial, cultural, educational, and medical centre of Sarajevo. Although some of these may be disputed, Centar is certainly the most important part of Sarajevo, housing most major branches of the city and national governments. The municipality of Centar occupies 3,313 hectrates of land, of which close to 17% is housing. The amount of private and state owned land is nearly equal, with 1600 and 1713 hectrates respectively. The municipality celebrates May 2 as "Centar Municipality Day", in commemoration of the heroic defense by citizens of the aggressor's assault on the Building of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Centar is also home to many Olympic complexes such as Mirza Delibašić Hall and sports venues Asim Ferhatović Hase Stadium and Zetra Olympic Hall.

Novo Sarajevo (Serbian Cyrillic: Ново Сарајево, pronounced [nôʋoː sǎrajeʋo]; lit. "New Sarajevo") is a municipality of the city of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP) is an intergovernmental organization that addresses the issue of persons missing as a result of armed conflicts, violations of human rights, and natural disasters. It is headquartered in The Hague, The Netherlands. It assists governments in the exhumation of mass graves and DNA identification of missing persons, provides support to family associations of missing persons, and assists in creating strategies and institutions to search for missing persons. In December 2014, a treaty was signed which established the commission as an International Organisation. The treaty has five signatories: the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Belgium and Luxembourg. It designates The Hague (Netherlands) as the seat of the organization.

The Vidovdan Heroes Chapel is a Serbian Orthodox chapel and mausoleum located on the Holy Archangels Georgije and Gavrilo Orthodox Cemetery located in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The crypt of the chapel contains the bodily remains of Gavrilo Princip and other members of Young Bosnia who took part in the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand on 28 June 1914.In 2019, the chapel was renovated.

Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo (Bosnian: Klinički centar Univerziteta u Sarajevucode: bos promoted to code: bs , KCUS or Bosnian: Univerzitetski klinički centar Sarajevocode: bos promoted to code: bs , UKCS), is the largest hospital institution in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It serves as the teaching base of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Sarajevo, being part of the University of Sarajevo. It consists of 37 clinics, a hospital pharmacy, and associated departments and services.

Ethnic cleansing occurred during the Bosnian War (1992–95) as large numbers of Bosnian Muslims (Bosniaks) and Bosnian Croats were forced to flee their homes or were expelled by the Army of Republika Srpska and Serb paramilitaries. Bosniaks and Bosnian Serbs had also been forced to flee or were expelled by Bosnian Croat forces, though on a restricted scale and in lesser numbers. The UN Security Council Final Report (1994) states while Bosniaks also engaged in "grave breaches of the Geneva Conventions and other violations of international humanitarian law", they "have not engaged in "systematic ethnic cleansing"". According to the report, "there is no factual basis for arguing that there is a 'moral equivalence' between the warring factions".Beginning in 1991, political upheavals in Bosnia and Herzegovina displaced about 2.7 million people by mid-1992, of which over 700,000 sought asylum in other European countries, making it the largest exodus in Europe since World War II. It is estimated between 1.0 and 1.3 million people were uprooted in these ethnic cleansing campaigns, and that tens of thousands were killed. The methods used during the Bosnian ethnic cleansing campaigns include "killing of civilians, rape, torture, destruction of civilian, public, and cultural property, looting and pillaging, and the forcible relocation of civilian populations". Most of the perpetrators of these campaigns were Serb forces and most of the victims were Bosniaks. The UN-backed International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) later convicted several officials for persecution on political, racial and religious grounds; forced transfer and deportation constituting a crime against humanity. The Srebrenica massacre, which was also included as part of the ethnic cleansing campaign, was found to constitute the crime of genocide.

Kalman Radio is a Bosnian commercial radio station, broadcasting from Sarajevo. Kalman Radio began broadcasting in April 1997. It was formatted as a variety radio station with Bosnian music, talk shows and short national news.
