Colle Santa Lucia (Italian pronunciation: [ˈkɔlle ˈsanta luˈtʃiːa]; Ladin language: Col) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Belluno in the Italian region of Veneto, located about 120 kilometres (75 mi) north of Venice and about 40 kilometres (25 mi) northwest of Belluno. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 408 and an area of 15.3 square kilometres (5.9 sq mi). The population speaks a Venetian dialect called Ladin Venetian that is heavily influenced by the Ladin language. Colle Santa Lucia borders the following municipalities: Alleghe, Cortina d'Ampezzo, Livinallongo del Col di Lana, Rocca Pietore, San Vito di Cadore, Selva di Cadore.

The Giau Pass (Italian: Passo di Giau) (Ladin: Jof de Giau) (el. 2236 m.) is a high mountain pass in the Dolomites in the province of Belluno in Italy. It connects Cortina d'Ampezzo with Colle Santa Lucia and Selva di Cadore. It is located at the center of a vast mountain pasture at the foot of Nuvolau (2,574 m) and dell'Averau (2,647 m) from which you can easily reach the Monte Pore (2,405 m). Impressive is the view west towards Colle Santa Lucia with the Pale di San Martino, Cime D'Auta, Marmolada, Piz Boe and Setsass, just to the east towards the valley of Cortina d'Ampezzo, with Tofane, Croda Rossa, Pomagagnon, Cristallo, Croda da Lago, etc.

Alleghe (Ladin: Àlie) is a village and comune in the province of Belluno in the Italian region of Veneto. To the west Alleghe borders with Alleghe Lake, which was formed in 1771 by a landslide from the adjacent Mont Piz.

Becco di Mezzodì (2,603m) is a mountain of the Croda da Lago chain, a small mountain group in the central Dolomites. It is located above the resort of Cortina d'Ampezzo in Belluno, northern Italy. The mountain's name means Midday Peak in the local dialect, as the sun appears directly above the peak at midday from Cortina. The climb usually starts from the Refuge Croda da Lago on the road to the Giau Pass. Climbing gear and slings are required.

Averau (2,649m) is the highest mountain of the Nuvolau Group in the Dolomites, located in the Province of Belluno, northern Italy. It lies between the Falzarego Pass and the Giau Pass. The mountain is usually climbed from its northern face, which is less steep than its other faces, by the Averau ferrata. The view from the summit takes in many of the Dolomitic giants, including Monte Civetta, Monte Pelmo, Antelao and Sorapiss.

Cinque Torri ("Five Towers", sometimes named also Cinque Torri di Averau; German: Fünf Türme) comprise a small rock formation belonging to Nuvolao group in the Dolomiti Ampezzane (part of the Eastern Dolomites) north-west of San Vito di Cadore and south-west of Cortina d'Ampezzo.

The Giardino Alpino "Antonio Segni" (5,000 m2) is an alpine botanical garden located at 1,714 meters altitude in Refugio Vazzoler, Gruppo del Civetta, Col Negro di Pelsa, Taibon Agordino, Province of Belluno, Veneto, Italy. It is privately owned with a municipal affiliation, and open daily when Refugio Vazzoler is open. The garden was established in 1968 in the Dolomites, and named after Italian President Antonio Segni (1891-1972). Its mission is to educate hikers and the general public about the most important species of trees, shrubs, and grasses of the Alps and Dolomites, particularly those of the garden's local environment near the Massif Moiazza-Civetta. The garden consists of natural areas, man-made wetlands, and three small rock gardens. Its collections include Epilobium angustifolium, Larix decidua, Picea abies, and other alpine vegetation.

Monte Civetta (3,220 m) is a prominent and major mountain of the Dolomites, in the Province of Belluno in northern Italy. Its north-west face can be viewed from the Taibon Agordino valley, and is classed as one of the symbols of the Dolomites.The mountain is thought to have been first climbed by Simeone di Silvestro in 1855, which, if true, makes it the first major Dolomite peak to be climbed. The north-western face, with its 1,000-metre-high cliff, was first climbed in 1925 by Emil Solleder and Gustl Lettenbauer. It is historically considered the first "sixth grade" in six-tier scale of alpinistic difficulties proposed by Willo Welzenbach (corresponding to 5.9). Thirty years later UIAA used this as a basis for its grading system. The famed Svan mountain climber Mikhail Khergiani died in a climbing accident on Monte Civetta in 1969.

Croda da Lago is a small mountain chain in the central Dolomites in Veneto, northern Italy, just east of the Giau Pass. The highest peak of the group, the Cima d'Ambrizzola has an elevation of 2,715 metres. The range is very popular with hikers and mountain cyclists.

Forcella Staulanza (el. 1766 m.) is a high mountain pass in the Dolomites in the province of Belluno in Italy. It connects the Zoldo valley in the south and the Fiorentina valley in the north.

San Tomaso Agordino (Ladin: San Tomas) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Belluno in the Italian region Veneto, located about 110 kilometres (68 mi) north of Venice and about 35 kilometres (22 mi) northwest of Belluno. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 766 and an area of 19.2 square kilometres (7.4 sq mi).The municipality of San Tomaso Agordino contains the frazione (subdivision) Pecol. San Tomaso Agordino borders the following municipalities: Alleghe, Cencenighe Agordino, Rocca Pietore, Taibon Agordino, Vallada Agordina.

Tofane is a mountain group in the Dolomites of northern Italy, west of Cortina d'Ampezzo in the province of Belluno, Veneto. Most of the Tofane lie within the Ampezzo Dolomites Natural Park.
