Mile End Hospital is a community hospital in the Mile End area of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets in England. It is managed by Barts Health NHS Trust.

Suttons Wharf is a mixed-use development in Bethnal Green, east London. It was historically a wharf on the Regent's Canal, south of the Cranbrook Estate and Roman Road.

Blind Beggar and his Dog is a bronze statue of 1958, by the sculptor Elisabeth Frink, based on the famous ballad The Blind Beggar of Bethnal Green. It stands in the enclosed garden of Tate House, a residential development for the elderly on the Cranbrook Estate in the London district of Bethnal Green. It is a Grade II* listed structure.

Devonshire Street was a short-lived railway station in the parish of Mile End Old Town, in the East End of London. It was opened on 20 June 1839 as a temporary London terminus of the Eastern Counties Railway (ECR) from Romford prior to the construction of Shoreditch station which became the permanent terminus.On opening the weekday service consisted of seven weekday and six Sunday trains. An additional train serving Romford Market ran on Wednesdays.After Shoreditch opened, Devonshire Street continued in use as a through passenger station for a year before it was closed in 1840.In 1884 a new station called Globe Road & Devonshire Street opened close to the site of the closed Devonshire Street station. The street after which the station was named was later incorporated into the northern part of Bancroft Road, running east–west next to the tracks. The station was situated on an embankment adjacent to the Devonshire Street skew bridge.

Tower Hamlets Local History Library and Archives is a facility provided by the London Borough of Tower Hamlets to enable members of the public to consult books and records in their collection. It is located at Bancroft Road Library. The facility is located in a building which was formerly the Mile End Old Town Vestry Hall built in 1862. The building was converted into a library in 1902 with money from Andrew Carnegie.

Morpeth School is a comprehensive secondary school situated in Bethnal Green with nearly 1200 pupils. The current headteacher is Jemima Reilly. Morpeth's pupils come from a wide range of ethnic backgrounds; over half are from Bangladeshi backgrounds, while one-third are white British.In 2009 Ofsted highlighted Morpeth as one of twelve outstanding schools serving disadvantaged communities. Morpeth specialises in the Arts and Music, but has also gained some fame in junior table tennis, and offers a wide range of extracurricular activities. Its new Performing Arts building opened in October 2007 and was opened by the British film director and producer (and former Morpeth parent), Danny Boyle in May 2008.

The Cranbrook Estate is a housing estate in Bethnal Green, London, England. It is located next to Roman Road and is based around a figure of eight street called Mace Street. The estate was designed by Francis Skinner, Douglas Bailey and an elder mentor, the Soviet émigré Berthold Lubetkin.

A sculpture of Sylvia Pankhurst is located in Mile End Park, Bethnal Green, London, England. It honours the life of Sylvia Pankhurst, a leading English suffragette and socialist.The statue is a two-dimensional silhouette constructed of Corten steel, which is designed to rust over time. It is one of three located in the park, which are together part of a national project by charity Sustrans to beautify areas used by foot, public transport and cycle commuters. The three figures portrayed were selected by the local community for the contribution they made to local history or culture.The artwork depicts Pankhurst grasping a pile of papers in her left arm, and handing out papers with her right hand. It was unveiled on 15 August 2011.

The Palm Tree is a Grade II listed public house at 127 Grove Road, Mile End, and is within Mile End Park. It was built in 1935 for Truman's Brewery and designed by Eedle and Meyers.It was Grade II listed in 2015 by Historic England.The pub was used as a filming location during the TV series Luther for the third episode of the third series and the 2010 short film Half Hearted.

St Barnabas Community Fete (also known as Bowstock) was an annual fête and music festival held on Wennington Green in Mile End Park, Bow, London, England. It was run by local volunteers, who started the fete in 2003 as a non-religious, participatory, free and not-for-profit festival to bring together residents of all ages, faiths, abilities and races, to draw attention to local issues and to encourage volunteering and community action. The festival was directed by the vicar of St Barnabas, Father Brian Ralph, nicknamed the "rock vicar". The festival ran until 2012.Musical artists played alongside acts from local schools and the community, and acts who have performed there include Babar Luck, The Beat, Black Daniel, The Blockheads, The Bollywood Brass Band, Chas'n'Dave, Saynab Cige, The Dhol Foundation, Heavy Load, Joi, Finley Quaye (a surprise guest at the first fete in 2003), Alaur Rahman, DJ Ritu, Sham 69, Neville Staple, U.K Subs, and Jah Wobble. The festival attracted around 2,000 people.Around the live music stage, the organisers provided an information marketplace for community groups, and a range of activities for all ages, including a tea dance and extreme sports.

The statue of Clement Attlee on the Mile End campus of Queen Mary University of London is a bronze sculpture of the British Prime Minister, created by Frank Forster in 1988. The statue was commissioned by the Greater London Council and was intended to stand in Mile End Park. By the time of its completion in 1988, the GLC had been abolished and the statue was offered to any successor authority willing to pay the relocation costs. These were met by Tower Hamlets London Borough Council and the statue was erected outside the Limehouse Public Library to commemorate Attlee's role as the member for the Limehouse parliamentary constituency. The opening ceremony was carried out by Harold Wilson, the last living member of Attlee's 1945-51 administration. By the 21st century, the statue had been badly vandalised and was boarded up. In 2010, Tower Hamlets Council offered the statue to Queen Mary University of London on permanent loan. It was re-erected on a site at the Mile End Road campus, next to the People's Palace where Attlee had attended the vote counting in the 1945 general election and learnt of the victory which brought in his peace-time government.

The People's Palace is a Grade II listed building in Mile End in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. It is home to the Great Hall, a large theatre and entertainment venue, and is now part of Queen Mary University of London.
