Weedon Lois Castle

Weedon Lois (or Lois Weedon) is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Weston and Weedon, in the West Northamptonshire district, in the ceremonial county of Northamptonshire, England. It is about 5.5 miles (9 km) west of Towcester. In 1931 the parish had a population of 296.

Plumpton Pasture is a 3.6-hectare (8.9-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest east of Towcester in Northamptonshire.There are medieval ridge and furrows on this unimproved meadow on clay. The drier ridge tops have many herbs, while the damp furrows are dominated by creeping bent and Yorkshire fog grasses. There are also mature hedges and a small pond.The site is private land with no public access.

Weston Hall is a 17th-century manor house in Weston, Northamptonshire. The house was owned by the Sitwell family's ancestors from 1714 to 2021. It is a Grade II* listed building.

It is within the ecclesiastical parish of "St Mary & St Peter Lois Weedon with Weston and Plumpton". In 1931 the parish had a population of 32.The church of St John is grade II listed and is now cared for by a charity, the St. John the Baptist, Plumpton, Heritage Trust. The Manor House is grade II* listed; some of its associated gates and walls are separately grade II listed.

Astwell is a hamlet in Northamptonshire, England. With Falcutt, it is part of the civil parish of Helmdon , but formerly Astwell was split between the parishes of Syresham and Wappenham. The hamlet is 6 miles (10 km) northeast of Brackley and 17+1⁄2 miles (28 km) by road southwest of the county town of Northampton. Today the hamlet contains little more than the Astwell Castle and a mill.

The Blakesley Miniature Railway was an 804-yard-long (735 m) 15 in (381 mm) gauge railway from Blakesley railway station to Blakesley Hall in Blakesley in West Northamptonshire, which operated from 1903 to 1946.
