Donji grad (pronounced [ˈdoɲi grad], locally also [ˈdoʎɲi grad], "Lower Town") is one of the 17 city districts of Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. It is located in the central part of the city and has 37,024 inhabitants (as of 2011). The official name of the district is rarely used, for it is dubbed centar (center) by most Zagreb residents even though "centar" encompasses some southern parts of district Gornji Grad-Medveščak.

The Archive of Serbs in Croatia (Serbo-Croatian: Архив Срба у Хрватској, Arhiv Srba u Hrvatskoj) in Zagreb is the central minority-run institution responsible for preservation of archival materials related to Serbs of Croatia. The archive collects materials related to the history of Serbs in Croatia to ensure greater security and accessibility of existing materials in one place. The institution was established in 2006 by the Serb National Council, an elected political, consulting and coordinating body, and cultural and scientific organization SKD Prosvjeta. The archive is supervised by the Croatian State Archives, is a part of the Croatian Archival Information System, and adheres to the International Standard for Describing Institutions with Archival Holdings (ISDIAH) standards. The archive is the primary publisher of the peer-reviewed open access academic journal Tragovi: Journal for Serbian and Croatian Topics.

The Esplanade Zagreb Hotel is a historic luxury hotel in Zagreb, Croatia. It was built in 1925 to provide accommodation for passengers of the famous Orient Express train, which traveled between Paris and Istanbul.

Palace Hotel Zagreb is a historic hotel located in Nikola Šubić Zrinski Square in Zagreb, Croatia. The hotel opened in 1907 and is regarded as the first professionally organized hotel in the city.

Modern Gallery (Croatian: Moderna galerija; since 2021 the National Museum of Modern Art, Nacionalni muzej moderne umjetnosti) is a museum in Zagreb, Croatia that holds the most important and comprehensive collection of paintings, sculptures and drawings by 19th and 20th century Croatian artists. The collection numbers around 10,000 works of art, housed since 1934 in the historic Vranyczany Palace in the centre of Zagreb, overlooking the Zrinjevac Park. A secondary gallery is the Josip Račić Studio at Margaretska 3.

The Art Pavilion in Zagreb (Croatian: Umjetnički paviljon u Zagrebu) is an art gallery in Zagreb, Croatia. The Pavilion is located on the Lenuci Horseshoe, Lower Town area of the city, south of Nikola Šubić Zrinski Square, on the northern side of the King Tomislav Square which flanks the Zagreb Central Station. Established in 1898, it is the oldest gallery in the Southeast Europe and the only purpose-built gallery in Zagreb designed specifically to accommodate large-scale exhibitions.

The Evangelical Church in Zagreb (Croatian: Evangelička crkva u Zagrebu; German: Evangelische Kirche in Zagreb; Hungarian: Evangélikus Egyház Zágrábban; Slovak: Evanjelický kostol v Záhrebe) is an Evangelical Lutheran Church located in centre of Zagreb (Donji Grad, close to the Republic of Croatia Square), Croatia. The church was originally built in period from 1882 until 1884. The building is a free-standing single-nave neo-Gothic church.

The Strossmayer Gallery of Old Masters (Croatian: Strossmayerova galerija starih majstora) is a fine art museum in Zagreb, Croatia exhibiting the collection donated to the city by Bishop Josip Juraj Strossmayer in 1884. Located at 11 Nikola Šubić Zrinski Square, it forms part of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts (Hrvatska akademija znanosti i umjetnosti). The Strossmayer Gallery holding includes around 4,000 works, of which some 250 are on display, with the remainder in storage, or on display at other museums or gallery institutions in Croatia.

The Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts (Latin: Academia Scientiarum et Artium Croatica, Croatian: Hrvatska akademija znanosti i umjetnosti, abbrev. HAZU) is the national academy of Croatia. HAZU was founded under patronage of the Croatian bishop Josip Juraj Strossmayer under the name Yugoslav Academy of Sciences and Arts (Jugoslavenska akademija znanosti i umjetnosti, abbrev. JAZU) since its founder wanted to make it the central scientific and artistic institution of all South Slavs. Today, its main goals are encouraging and organizing scientific work, applying the achieved results, development of artistic and cultural activities, carrying about the Croatian cultural heritage and its affirmation in the world, publishing the results of scientific research and artistic creativity and giving suggestions and opinions for the advancement of science and art in areas of particular importance to Croatia. The academy is divided into nine classes; social sciences, mathematical, physical and chemical sciences, natural sciences, medical sciences, philological sciences, Literature, Fine Arts, Musical Arts and Musicology, technical sciences. The Academy started in 1866 with 16 full members which grew to today's 160. Besides full, members can also be honorary, corresponding or associate.

Srpsko privredno društvo "Privrednik" (Serbian Cyrillic: Српско привредно друштво "Привредник"; English: Serbian Business Association "Privrednik"), commonly referred to as Privrednik, is an organization of the Serb minority in Croatia, which is aimed to creating and increasing economic opportunities in rural areas where majority of Serbs live in Croatia, as well as development of professional skills of individuals. Vladimir Matijević founded Privrednik under Austria-Hungary rule and after the Great War when the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes was established he moved his business from Zagreb to Belgrade where he founded Zadruga Srba privrednika in 1923. Privrednik is a registered nongovernmental, nonprofit and nonpartisan organization.
