Holy Cross Church is a historic church and home to an active parish in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Columbus located in the Discovery District neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio. The Gothic Revival building was completed in 1848 and is the oldest church in Columbus. The church, along with the school and rectory also on the property, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

The former Westminster Presbyterian Church (also known as The First Spiritualist Temple) is a historic church building at 77 S. 6th Street in Columbus, Ohio. Built in 1857 in the Romanesque Revival style, it was originally home to Westminster Presbyterian Church. Spiritualists acquired the property after Westminster Presbyterian merged with another church circa 1900.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.This building is not related to the current Westminster Presbyterian Church, at 222 Schoolhouse Lane, on the West side of Columbus.

Grant Medical Center was established in 1900 in downtown Columbus, Ohio as the second member hospital of OhioHealth, a not-for-profit, faith-based healthcare system. Grant Medical Center is a Level I Trauma Center. According to U.S. News & World Report; Regionally Ranked Grant Medical Center #16 in Ohio and nearly at the level of nationally ranked U.S. News Best Hospitals in 3 adult specialties. OhioHealth Grant Medical Center is also recognized as a teaching hospital.The hospital replaced St. Francis Hospital, also known as Starling Medical College. Grant Medical Center operated a 16-story building, Baldwin Tower, from 1968 to its demolition in 2004.

The Knights of Columbus Building is a historic building in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2020.The building was listed as one of the most endangered properties in Columbus in 2018, in a report by Columbus Landmarks. It was designed by Richards, McCarty and Bulford and was built in 1927. It served as the local headquarters for the Knights of Columbus. The Roman Catholic order the Salesian Society acquired the building in 1968, and it became known as the Salesian Boys and Girls Club. It later served as the Bosco Center, until May 2017.The five-story building has numerous athletic facilities: a gymnasium, bowling alley, swimming pool, and basketball court, in addition to a grand ballroom.

Franklin University is a private university with its main campus in Columbus, Ohio. It was founded in 1902 to serve the needs of adult students. On-site courses are offered at the university's campus in Columbus' Discovery District. However, most students take courses online. The university has over 25 location centers in the Midwestern United States and a majority online population.

The Museum of Catholic Art and History, formerly known as the Jubilee Museum and Catholic Cultural Center, is a museum of Catholic relics and art in Columbus, Ohio. The museum is located on Broad Street in Downtown Columbus, where it reopened in late 2021. The museum was formerly located at the schoolhouse of the Holy Family Church in the city's Franklinton neighborhood, from 1998 to 2019. The museum has the largest collection of diversified Catholic artwork in the United States.

Central Market was a public market in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. The market operated from 1814 to 1966, was the location of Columbus's first city hall for two decades, from 1850 to 1872. It moved three times, each time into successively larger buildings. The third market building stood the longest time, from 1850 to 1966, when it was demolished as part of the Market-Mohawk Urban Renewal project. North Market remains, the only one left of four public markets that operated in the city.

Peter Pan (also known as the Munson Memorial Fountain, or simply Pan) is a 1927 fountain and sculpture depicting Pan by sculptor Mary "Mae" Cook and architect Otto C. Darst, installed outside the Main Library in Columbus, Ohio, United States.

The Stoddart Block is a historic building in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994. The building was constructed in 1911 and designed by the local firm David Riebel & Sons. It was designed for a large furniture store, the Frohock Furniture Company, which operated there until 1938. A second furniture company, Hadley's Furniture Company, occupied the building until 1962. It then operated as the Children's Hospital's thrift shop, from 1962 to 1990. By 2014, the building held 52 low-income apartments. It was renovated into affordable micro-apartments at this time.The building has five stories. It has a red brick exterior, flat roof, and steel-reinforced concrete structure. It has three bays on its west side and six on its north. A stone panel above the top floor reads "Stoddart 1911". By 1994, the only alterations affected the storefront level.

The Lazarus House is a historic house in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. It was built in 1886 for Frederick Lazarus Sr., president of the F&R Lazarus & Company, and was designed in the French Second Empire style. It has undergone numerous renovations since its construction, including for conversion into office space, into apartments, and back to predominantly single-family occupancy. The house is a contributing property of the East Town Street Historic District, on the National Register of Historic Places and Columbus Register of Historic Properties.

The Zettler Grocery and Hardware building is a historic building in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. It was built c. 1880 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014. The building was built for the Zettler Grocery Co., founded around 1880 by Louis Zettler. In 1909, the business closed, and it was leased to other groceries, including Kroger's Grocery (the modern day Kroger Company). Zettler Hardware Co. (founded by Zettler in 1886) moved into the space in 1925, occupying it until 1940. The hardware company moved into another space downtown, and has since expanded to several locations around Central Ohio. The business is still owned by the Zettler family, and is the oldest hardware retailer in Columbus. The building at 268 S. 4th St. was owned by the Zettler family and leased to various companies until 2002, when it was sold to an office supply company. The supply company occupied the building until 2012. Since 2015, the building has housed a local pizzeria.
