The Stoddart Block is a historic building in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994. The building was constructed in 1911 and designed by the local firm David Riebel & Sons. It was designed for a large furniture store, the Frohock Furniture Company, which operated there until 1938. A second furniture company, Hadley's Furniture Company, occupied the building until 1962. It then operated as the Children's Hospital's thrift shop, from 1962 to 1990. By 2014, the building held 52 low-income apartments. It was renovated into affordable micro-apartments at this time.The building has five stories. It has a red brick exterior, flat roof, and steel-reinforced concrete structure. It has three bays on its west side and six on its north. A stone panel above the top floor reads "Stoddart 1911". By 1994, the only alterations affected the storefront level.

The Hartman Hotel is an condominium complex and former hotel and office building in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. The building was completed in 1898 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2018.The six-story Neoclassical building was designed by the local firm Kremer & Hart. It operated as the Pe-Ru-Na Company headquarters from 1898 to 1902, when it became the Hartman Hotel. The hotel closed in 1921, and the building began to house Ohio governmental agencies. Most of these departed in 1933, though the building maintained offices until 1992. It stood vacant from 1992 to 1999, when it was renovated and restored. Another renovation took place from 2005 to 2008, creating condominiums on much of the building's floor space.

The United States Carriage Company is a historic building in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. It was listed on the Columbus Register of Historic Properties in 2014 and the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.

Central Market was a public market in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. The market operated from 1814 to 1966, was the location of Columbus's first city hall for two decades, from 1850 to 1872. It moved three times, each time into successively larger buildings. The third market building stood the longest time, from 1850 to 1966, when it was demolished as part of the Market-Mohawk Urban Renewal project. North Market remains, the only one left of four public markets that operated in the city.

The Peruna Drug Manufacturing Company Building was a historic building in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. It was built c. 1902 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in March 1973. The building was demolished in November 1973.The Peruna Drug Manufacturing Company Building was a two-story brick building, and one of the most ornate commercial buildings in the city. It measured 100 x 120 ft. It had ornate north and west facades of marble over brick, while the east and south facades were simply of brick.The building was constructed for Samuel B. Hartman's Peruna Drug Manufacturing Company, makers of the Peruna medicine. It was first built c. 1902, was nearly completed by 1904 when a worker's torch ignited packing materials, lighting the building on fire. The building was salvaged and fully occupied by 1906.

The Columbus Bus Station is an intercity bus station in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. The station, managed by Greyhound Lines, also serves Barons Bus Lines, Miller Transportation, GoBus, and other carriers. The current building was constructed in 1969. Since 1979, with the demolition of Union Station and a short-lived replacement, the Greyhound station has been the only intercity transit center in the city. Columbus has seen intercity bus transit since 1929, when a union station opened on Town Street. Sixteen companies, including a Greyhound bus company, operated there. In 1932, a competing bus terminal opened on State Street, operated by Greyhound. By 1940, the station was replaced by another Greyhound terminal, in a space neighboring the current bus station site. The 1940 terminal was lauded at its opening, though in following decades, it reportedly deteriorated and became a place of refuge for the homeless. The current bus station was built from 1968 to 1969 in a modern style, and featured numerous traveler amenities. Efforts to keep the station safe were successful early on, though the Greyhound Corporation proposed its sale by 1988. In 2021, following a shooting incident and reports of frequent police visits, the property was declared a public nuisance. Agreements were made to increase security, and the local mass transit agency, COTA, agreed to purchase and redevelop the site. Intercity bus services will move to a COTA facility in late 2021, and COTA plans to demolish the 1969 station and create a mixed-use development on the property.

Columbus Downtown High School is a public high school and vocational school located in the downtown area of Columbus, Ohio. It is a part of Columbus City Schools. It was built to consolidate, along with the existing Fort Hayes Career Center, three closing career centers (Northeast Career Center, Northwest Career Center, & Southeast Career Center) in the Columbus City Schools district. While a career center, it also functions as a high school with a capacity of 800 students. Construction on the school was completed in December 2008. The first classes were held on January 5, 2009 with 200 students.

Holy Cross Church is a historic church and home to an active parish in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Columbus located in the Discovery District neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio. The Gothic Revival building was completed in 1848 and is the oldest church in Columbus. The church, along with the school and rectory also on the property, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

The Del Monte Apartments is a historic building in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. It was built in 1902 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016. The Romanesque Revival building was designed by Charles W. Bellows, a Columbus resident and nephew of George Bellows, builder of the 1887 Franklin County Courthouse in the city.The building was constructed as a streetcar suburb-type apartment building with six flats on each of its three levels. The building interior was largely altered as it was converted for office use in 1985.

Ohio Police and Fire Memorial Park is a memorial and park commemorating Ohio's police officers and firefighters, in Downtown Columbus, Ohio, United States. The park is north of Town St. just east of Third St. It features a sculpture by Ronald Dewey, engraved bricks, pavers, and benches.

The Hamlet is a historic building in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. It was listed on the Columbus Register of Historic Properties and the National Register of Historic Places in 2020.The building was built in 1970 in the New Formalist style, with brick exterior walls and decorative concrete elements. The period-specific building reflects the time and trend of urban redevelopment.The Market-Mohawk Center is a part of the Market-Mohawk district, an early urban renewal project in Columbus begun in the late 1950s. It is one of an entire block of buildings built in the 1960s, though other buildings built nearby at that time have since been replaced. The building and district are named for the Central Market and Mohawk Public School, both of which stood nearby.

Second Presbyterian Church (also known as Central Presbyterian Church) is a historic church building in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. It was built in 1857 in a Romanesque style and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. It closed on November, 2011. The site was previously the location of the first public school in Columbus, built in 1826.The building was acquired by Columbus Association for the Performing Arts in 2013, and is being repurposed as a performance venue. CAPA CEO William Conner Jr. said the church building is "acoustically near perfect".
