The Knights of Columbus Building is a historic building in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2020.The building was listed as one of the most endangered properties in Columbus in 2018, in a report by Columbus Landmarks. It was designed by Richards, McCarty and Bulford and was built in 1927. It served as the local headquarters for the Knights of Columbus. The Roman Catholic order the Salesian Society acquired the building in 1968, and it became known as the Salesian Boys and Girls Club. It later served as the Bosco Center, until May 2017.The five-story building has numerous athletic facilities: a gymnasium, bowling alley, swimming pool, and basketball court, in addition to a grand ballroom.

Peter Pan (also known as the Munson Memorial Fountain, or simply Pan) is a 1927 fountain and sculpture depicting Pan by sculptor Mary "Mae" Cook and architect Otto C. Darst, installed outside the Main Library in Columbus, Ohio, United States.

The Lazarus House is a historic house in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. It was built in 1886 for Frederick Lazarus Sr., president of the F&R Lazarus & Company, and was designed in the French Second Empire style. It has undergone numerous renovations since its construction, including for conversion into office space, into apartments, and back to predominantly single-family occupancy. The house is a contributing property of the East Town Street Historic District, on the National Register of Historic Places and Columbus Register of Historic Properties.

The Hamlet is a historic building in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. It was listed on the Columbus Register of Historic Properties and the National Register of Historic Places in 2020.The building was built in 1970 in the New Formalist style, with brick exterior walls and decorative concrete elements. The period-specific building reflects the time and trend of urban redevelopment.The Market-Mohawk Center is a part of the Market-Mohawk district, an early urban renewal project in Columbus begun in the late 1950s. It is one of an entire block of buildings built in the 1960s, though other buildings built nearby at that time have since been replaced. The building and district are named for the Central Market and Mohawk Public School, both of which stood nearby.

The former Westminster Presbyterian Church (also known as The First Spiritualist Temple) is a historic church building at 77 S. 6th Street in Columbus, Ohio. Built in 1857 in the Romanesque Revival style, it was originally home to Westminster Presbyterian Church. Spiritualists acquired the property after Westminster Presbyterian merged with another church circa 1900.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.This building is not related to the current Westminster Presbyterian Church, at 222 Schoolhouse Lane, on the West side of Columbus.

The Columbus Metropolitan Library (CML) is a public library system in Franklin County, Ohio, in the Columbus metropolitan area. The library serves an area of 872,000 residents, has a collection of 1,483,433 volumes, and circulates 17,262,267 items per year.The library consists of the Main Library and 22 branches located in neighborhoods throughout Franklin County. The branches are Canal Winchester, Driving Park, Dublin, Franklinton, Gahanna, Hilliard, Hilltop, Karl Road, Linden, Livingston, Marion-Franklin, Martin Luther King, New Albany, Northern Lights, Northside, Parsons, Reynoldsburg, Shepard, South High, Southeast, Whetstone, and Whitehall. CML also jointly operates the Northwest Library in cooperation with Worthington Libraries. Columbus Metropolitan Library is a member of the Central Library Consortium, which enables its 17-member library systems to share a catalog.

The Main Library of the Columbus Metropolitan Library (CML) system is located in Downtown Columbus, Ohio, United States. The public library is the largest in the library system and holds approximately 300,000 volumes. It includes numerous rooms, including separate spaces for children, teens, an adult reading room, newspaper room, auditorium, gallery, gift shop, and a cafe. The third floor includes a computer lab and houses the Franklin County Genealogical & Historical Society. The library building was proposed as early as 1901 when the public utilized a reading room in Columbus's city hall. In 1903, Andrew Carnegie largely funded its construction, making it a Carnegie library. The library was designed by Albert Randolph Ross in the Beaux-Arts style, utilizing white Vermont marble. The building opened in 1907. It was first expanded in 1953 and 1961, followed by a 1991 addition and the demolition of the two prior structures; the process tripled the building's size. In 2015 and 2016, another renovation took place to increase reader space, add to its west lawn, join the building to Topiary Park at its east, and clad most of the 1991 building in glass.

Franklin University is a private university with its main campus in Columbus, Ohio. It was founded in 1902 to serve the needs of adult students. On-site courses are offered at the university's campus in Columbus' Discovery District. However, most students take courses online. The university has over 25 location centers in the Midwestern United States and a majority online population.

The Seneca, formerly known as The Seneca Hotel, is a 10-story apartment complex and former hotel in the Discovery District of downtown Columbus, Ohio. The brick building was designed by architect Frank Packard and David Riebel & Sons and built in 1917, in a prominent location near Franklin County Memorial Hall, where conventions were held. A four-story wing was built on the hotel's east side in 1924. The hotel closed in the mid-20th century, and it held the Nationwide Beauty Academy from 1960 to 1974. Dormitories held female students for Nationwide and about six other public and private schools downtown. The Seneca became home to the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency from 1976 to 1987. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983 and the Columbus Register of Historic Properties in 1991. In 1988, the building became vacant, and remained that way until 2005.The former hotel was renovated from around 2005 to 2008 at a cost of $21 million, including funds directed by the Ohio State Department of Development and the City of Columbus. The building now includes 76 units, including studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments. Rental units at its opening ranged from $800 to $1,400 per month.

Capital University Law School is an ABA-accredited private law school located in downtown Columbus, Ohio. The law school is affiliated with Capital University, the oldest university in Central Ohio and one of the oldest and largest Lutheran-affiliated universities in North America.The school was voted a "Best Value Law School" on the basis of tuition by the National Jurist magazine in 2009. In 2011, the National Jurist magazine, as well as PreLaw magazine named Capital as one of the nation’s top law schools in preparing students for legal careers in public service. In 2012, the magazines listed Capital as one of the nation’s top law schools in terms of preparing its students for the bar exam. In 2014, Capital was named to the National Jurist Magazine's "Honor Roll" of law schools that provide practical legal education. In 2015, Capital was once again listed in the National Jurist Magazine's "Honor Roll" of law schools that deliver a practical, experiential legal education. In 2019, PreLaw magazine listed Capital Law as one of the top law schools in the country for practical training and alternate dispute resolution. PreLaw magazine further listed Capital as one of the top law schools for criminal law in 2019. In 2020, US News & World Report ranked Capital University 146 of 192, and 148 of 194 for 2022.

Holy Cross Church is a historic church and home to an active parish in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Columbus located in the Discovery District neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio. The Gothic Revival building was completed in 1848 and is the oldest church in Columbus. The church, along with the school and rectory also on the property, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
