Chicago Ridge is a station on Metra's SouthWest Service in Chicago Ridge, Illinois. The station is 16.6 miles (26.7 km) away from Chicago Union Station, the northern terminus of the line. In Metra's zone-based fare system, Chicago Ridge is in zone D. As of 2018, Chicago Ridge is the 127th busiest of Metra's 236 non-downtown stations, with an average of 372 weekday boardings.As of January 16, 2023, Chicago Ridge is served by 28 trains (14 in each direction) on weekdays. Saturday service is currently suspended. The station is located just north of the Village Hall and Police Station on Ridgeland Avenue between Washington Avenue and 105th Street, and west of the B&OCT/IHB Railroad's crossing at grade and the Stony Creek Golf Course. Parking is available not only at the station, but behind the Police Station, along Birmingham Street, Oxford Avenue, and north of the tracks at the corner of Ridgeland Avenue and 103rd Street.

Students take Islamic Studies, Arabic language, and Quran classes. The school motto is "Where Islam and Education come together." Universal School was officially founded in 1989, and opened on September 4, 1990, to 140 students and 11 faculty members.As of 2016 the superintendent is a Syrian American man named Safaa Zarzour, who also served as the head of the Chicago office of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR).

The Coffey School of Aeronautics was a flight school at Harlem Airport in Oak Lawn, Illinois, founded by Cornelius Coffey and Willa Brown. It was the first flight school owned and operated by African-Americans in the United States. The school opened in 1940 and closed after World War II. While it was open, it trained African-American pilots as part of the Civilian Pilot Training Program; many of these pilots went on to join the Tuskegee Airmen.

The elementary is coeducational while the later stages are all-girls'.Aqsa School is not affiliated with the nearby Universal School.

Helen Morgan (née Riggins; August 2, 1900 – October 9, 1941) was an American singer and actress who worked in films and on the stage. A quintessential torch singer, she made a big splash in the Chicago club scene in the 1920s. She starred as Julie LaVerne in the original Broadway production of Hammerstein and Kern's musical Show Boat in 1927, as well as in the 1932 Broadway revival of the musical, and appeared in two film adaptations, a part-talkie made in 1929 (prologue only) and a full-sound version made in 1936, becoming firmly associated with the role. She suffered from bouts of alcoholism, and despite her notable success in the title role of another Hammerstein and Kern's Broadway musical, Sweet Adeline (1929), her stage career was relatively short. Helen Morgan died of cirrhosis of the liver at the age of 41. She was portrayed by Polly Bergen in the Playhouse 90 drama The Helen Morgan Story and by Ann Blyth in the 1957 biopic based on the television drama.

In Metra's zone-based fare system, Worth is in zone D. As of 2018, Worth is the 119th busiest of Metra's 236 non-downtown stations, with an average of 406 weekday boardings.As of January 16, 2023, Worth is served by 28 trains (14 in each direction) on weekdays. Saturday service is currently suspended. Worth consists of two side platforms which serve the SouthWest Service's two tracks. There is an unattended waiting room on the inbound platform which is open from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Parking is available on both side of the tracks, east of Harlem Avenue (IL 43).
