Aqsa School (Arabic: مدرسة الأقصی) is an Islamic day school in Bridgeview, Illinois, in the Chicago metropolitan area. As of 2016 the principal is Tammie Ismail.The school has elementary, junior high, and high school levels. The elementary is coeducational while the later stages are all-girls'.Aqsa School is not affiliated with the nearby Universal School.

Students take Islamic Studies, Arabic language, and Quran classes. The school motto is "Where Islam and Education come together." Universal School was officially founded in 1989, and opened on September 4, 1990, to 140 students and 11 faculty members.As of 2016 the superintendent is a Syrian American man named Safaa Zarzour, who also served as the head of the Chicago office of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR).

Chicago Ridge Mall, formerly Westfield Chicago Ridge from 2004 to 2012, is a shopping mall in Chicago Ridge, Illinois. The mall includes one anchor store (Kohl's), as well as Aldi, Michaels arts and crafts store, Dick's Sporting Goods, AMC Theatres and a food court. It was built in 1981, and expanded in 1986. In April 2012, Westfield sold the mall to Starwood Capital Group, with JLL responsible for management.

Burbank shares a boundary with Oak Lawn to its south, Bridgeview to its west, and Bedford Park to its north; the city of Hometown is also adjacent to Burbank's southeast corner. Burbank is less than two miles south of Chicago Midway International Airport.

In Metra's zone-based fare system, Chicago Ridge is in zone D. As of 2018, Chicago Ridge is the 127th busiest of Metra's 236 non-downtown stations, with an average of 372 weekday boardings.As of January 16, 2023, Chicago Ridge is served by 28 trains (14 in each direction) on weekdays. Saturday service is currently suspended. The station is located just north of the Village Hall and Police Station on Ridgeland Avenue between Washington Avenue and 105th Street, and west of the B&OCT/IHB Railroad's crossing at grade and the Stony Creek Golf Course. Parking is available not only at the station, but behind the Police Station, along Birmingham Street, Oxford Avenue, and north of the tracks at the corner of Ridgeland Avenue and 103rd Street.

5 Rabbit Cervecería is a brewery in Bedford Park, Illinois United States, that was founded in 2011 and opened in 2012. It is "the first Latin-themed craft brewery in the United States". Many of the beers are brewed with ingredients inspired by Hispanic cuisine and culture. The name of the brewery is a reference to the Aztec deity Macuiltochtli.
