Blevins Store is an unincorporated community in northwestern Surry County, North Carolina, United States, located south of Ladonia. The community is associated with the intersection of Blevins Store and Haystack Roads.

The Edwards–Franklin House is a plantation house in the Southern United States located in Franklin Township, Surry County, North Carolina. It was built in 1799 by Gideon Edwards and was later occupied by congressional representative Meshack Franklin, brother of North Carolina governor Jesse Franklin (1820–1821). The house was restored by the Surry County Historical Society in 1973 and is open to visitors.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

Area landmarks include Ladonia Baptist Church, M & M Signs and Awnings (right at the intersection of the two roads), and the nearby Raven Knob Scout Reservation.

Raven Knob Scout Reservation is a 3200 acre Boy Scout camp operated by the Old Hickory Council of the Boy Scouts of America. The reservation is located in Surry County, North Carolina, United States.

Bottom is an unincorporated community in the Stewarts Creek Township of northern Surry County, North Carolina, United States. The community is more commonly known as Beulah locally and is centered on the intersection of Beulah Road/Beulah Church Road and North Carolina Highway 89 (West Pine Street). The origin of the name "Bottom" is obscure.

Salem Fork is an unincorporated community in central Surry County, North Carolina, United States. The community is centered on the junction of Zephyr Road (SR 1001) and Interstate 77. Prominent landmarks in the community include Salem Fork Baptist Church and Salem Fork Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ). A growing commercial area is developing in the center of the community, including hotels and planned shops. This is due to the increased traffic volume from the interstate to the nearby Shelton Vineyards attraction and the expansion of some municipal services from the nearby town of Dobson.

Haystack Farm is a historic home and farm located near Oak Grove, Surry County, North Carolina. The farmhouse was built about 1885, and is a two-story, three-bay, gable roofed frame dwelling with a two-story rear ell. It has a full-width, hip roofed front porch and Italianate style design elements. Also on the property are the contributing gambrel-roof livestock barn, a board-and-batten frame packhouse, and a half-dovetail plank apple drying shed. The house was built by Christopher Wren Bunker, son of Chang and nephew of Eng Bunker.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
