Warszawa Gocławek railway station is a railway station in the Wawer district of Warsaw, Poland. As of 2012, it is served by Koleje Mazowieckie, who run the KM7 services from Warszawa Zachodnia to Dęblin and by Szybka Kolej Miejska, who run the S1 services from Pruszków PKP to Otwock.

Wygoda is a neighbourhood, in the city of Warsaw, Poland, located within the district of Rembertów, in the Municipal Information System area of Kawęczyn-Wygoda.

Gocławek is an officially designated neighbourhood within the Warsaw district of Praga Południe. It is located in the north-eastern part of Praga-Południe. The architecture of the neighbourhood is typical of the suburbs of the city, the oldest buildings date from the period of the November Uprising.

Eska Rock (often stylized as Eska ROCK) is a Polish radio channel broadcast by Grupa Radiowa Time. The station plays mainly modern rock, indie rock and alternative rock, from "classic" rock songs, to the newest "hits". It was the largest rock radio station broadcasting in Poland. Eska Rock started broadcasting in Poznań on 22 November 2004, in Łódź and Warsaw on 5 September 2005 and in Cracow on 20 March 2006. From 2 June 2008 to 1 December 2013, Eska Rock broadcast in 18 Polish cities. On 2 December 2013, the frequencies on which Eska Rock broadcast were switched with the frequencies of another station owned by Grupa Radiowa Time, VOX FM. Since then, Eska Rock only broadcasts in Warsaw at 93.3 MHz, and has also been present online.Eska Rock headquarters were located in Primate's Palace, Warsaw, until in 2010 the station moved to 10, Jubilerska Street in Warsaw.

Kościuszkowców Street is located in the Wawer district of Warsaw, Poland. It connects Korkowa Street with Bronisława Czecha Street, which is also part of the national road 2. Its east side borders with King Jan Sobieski Reserve. Close to the street there's Church of St. Felix of Cantalice, and from its tower Adolf Hitler observed occupation of Warsaw on September 15, 1939.There are public transport lines running, including 115, 305 and night line N25.

The Wawer massacre refers to the execution of 107 Polish civilians on the night of 26 to 27 December 1939 by the German occupiers of Wawer (at the time a suburb and currently a neighbourhood of Warsaw), Poland. The execution was a response to the killing of two German soldiers in a shootout by two petty criminals. An order to arrest at random any men inhabiting Wawer and the neighboring Anin between the ages of 16 and 70 was given and, as a result, 120 men, who were unrelated to the shootout, were gathered, and a show trial was hastily organized. 114 were declared "guilty" and sentenced to death, the others were spared to bury the dead. In total, 107 were killed and 7 survived, as they withstood the gunfire and were not finished off later. It is considered to be one of the first large scale massacres of Polish civilians by Nazi Germany in occupied Poland.

The Railway Institute (Polish: Instytut Kolejnictwa) is a research institute located in Warsaw, Poland. The Railway Institute (formerly Railway Scientific and Technical Centre (CNTK)) is operating under the Polish Ministry of Transport, Construction and Maritime Economy (former Polish Ministry of Infrastructure), and is notified under EU Railway Directive 2008/57/CE concerning railway interoperability. The Railway Institute, operating for 60 years in the transport sector, mainly in the rail sector, conducts scientific and research works, as well as services (including calibration of universal masters and measuring instruments) and performs certification works in the fields of railways and urban rail transport. The Battle of Olszynka Grochowska was fought on 25 February 1831 in the woods near Grochów, on the eastern outskirts of Warsaw. The Polish army, commanded by Józef Chłopicki, succeeded in preventing its Russian counterpart, under Hans Karl von Diebitsch, from crushing the uprising. However, the battle has also been described as an inconclusive bloodbath.
