Warszawa Olszynka Grochowska railway station is a railway station in the Praga Południe district of Warsaw, Poland. As of 2012, it is served by Koleje Mazowieckie, who run the KM7 services from Warszawa Zachodnia to Dęblin and by Szybka Kolej Miejska, who run the S1 services from Pruszków PKP to Otwock.

The Railway Institute (Polish: Instytut Kolejnictwa) is a research institute located in Warsaw, Poland. The Railway Institute (formerly Railway Scientific and Technical Centre (CNTK)) is operating under the Polish Ministry of Transport, Construction and Maritime Economy (former Polish Ministry of Infrastructure), and is notified under EU Railway Directive 2008/57/CE concerning railway interoperability. The Railway Institute, operating for 60 years in the transport sector, mainly in the rail sector, conducts scientific and research works, as well as services (including calibration of universal masters and measuring instruments) and performs certification works in the fields of railways and urban rail transport. The Railway Institute owns a test track for conducting various experiments and also possesses the necessary infrastructure for R&D studies in the field of railway transport. The Railway Institute is a Notified Body under the Interoperability of the Railway System Directive NB 1467. Olszynka Grochowska is a subdistrict located in northern part of Praga-Południe, in south-east Warsaw. The subdistrict is mostly a forest area. Home to a nature reserve. Railway station is also located here. The area is commonly recognised due to the Battle of Olszynka Grochowska which took place on 25 February 1831 during the November Uprising.

Eska Rock (often stylized as Eska ROCK) is a Polish radio channel broadcast by Grupa Radiowa Time. The station plays mainly modern rock, indie rock and alternative rock, from "classic" rock songs, to the newest "hits". It was the largest rock radio station broadcasting in Poland. Eska Rock started broadcasting in Poznań on 22 November 2004, in Łódź and Warsaw on 5 September 2005 and in Cracow on 20 March 2006. On 2 December 2013, the frequencies on which Eska Rock broadcast were switched with the frequencies of another station owned by Grupa Radiowa Time, VOX FM. Since then, Eska Rock only broadcasts in Warsaw at 93.3 MHz, and has also been present online.Eska Rock headquarters were located in Primate's Palace, Warsaw, until in 2010 the station moved to 10, Jubilerska Street in Warsaw.

Gocławek is an officially designated neighbourhood within the Warsaw district of Praga Południe. It is located in the north-eastern part of Praga-Południe. The architecture of the neighbourhood is typical of the suburbs of the city, the oldest buildings date from the period of the November Uprising.

The Józef Poliński Park is an urban park in Warsaw, Poland. It is located in the neighbourhood of Grochów, within the disctict of Praga-South, at the crossing of Garwolińska Street and Szaserów Street. The park was opened in 1962

Kawęczyn-Wygoda is a neighbourhood, and an area of the Municipal Information System, in the city of Warsaw, Poland, located within the district of Rembertów.

Grochowska Street is a major road located in the Praga Południe district of Warsaw, Poland. Since November 1, 1925, a tram route has run along Grochowska Street. Currently trams and many bus lines connect Praga with Śródmieście, Wola, Rembertów and Wawer.

Grochów is a district of Warsaw, officially part of the borough of Praga-Południe although not connected at all to historical "Praga" district. It is one of the most notable residential areas of right-bank Warsaw. There are many blocks of flats, as well as many pre-WWI houses. Grochów is nicknamed "the lungs of Warsaw", owing to its many green spaces. Despite plans made by the former Communist authorities, Grochów had not transformed into strictly industrial district, even though it had been such in the 19th century.

Kawęczyn is a neighbourhood, in the city of Warsaw, Poland, located within the district of Rembertów, in the Municipal Information System area of Kawęczyn-Wygoda.

Praga-South (Polish: Praga-Południe, Polish pronunciation: [ˈpraɡa pɔˈwudɲɛ]) is a district of Warsaw located on the east bank of the Vistula River. It consists of Grochów, Gocław, Kamionek and Saska Kępa.

Kamionek, is a neighbourhood in Warsaw, located on the right bank of the Vistula river. Formerly a village, in the 19th century, with the beginning of the Industrial Revolution in this part of the Russian Empire, it was transformed into a textile industry center. Today it is part of Praga Południe, and most of its factories closed after the fall of the communism in Poland. It borders the Park Skaryszewski and Kamionek Lake to the south, Grochów to the east, and Praga to the north. During the November Uprising in 1831, the cemetery in Kamionek was the primary location where fallen soldiers of the Russian Army were buried.
