Eska Rock

Gocławek is an officially designated neighbourhood within the Warsaw district of Praga Południe. It is located in the north-eastern part of Praga-Południe. The architecture of the neighbourhood is typical of the suburbs of the city, the oldest buildings date from the period of the November Uprising.

The Battle of Olszynka Grochowska was fought on 25 February 1831 in the woods near Grochów, on the eastern outskirts of Warsaw. The Polish army, commanded by Józef Chłopicki, succeeded in preventing its Russian counterpart, under Hans Karl von Diebitsch, from crushing the uprising. However, the battle has also been described as an inconclusive bloodbath.

The Railway Institute (Polish: Instytut Kolejnictwa) is a research institute located in Warsaw, Poland. The Railway Institute (formerly Railway Scientific and Technical Centre (CNTK)) is operating under the Polish Ministry of Transport, Construction and Maritime Economy (former Polish Ministry of Infrastructure), and is notified under EU Railway Directive 2008/57/CE concerning railway interoperability. The Railway Institute, operating for 60 years in the transport sector, mainly in the rail sector, conducts scientific and research works, as well as services (including calibration of universal masters and measuring instruments) and performs certification works in the fields of railways and urban rail transport. The Railway Institute owns a test track for conducting various experiments and also possesses the necessary infrastructure for R&D studies in the field of railway transport. The Railway Institute is a Notified Body under the Interoperability of the Railway System Directive NB 1467. As of 2012, it is served by Koleje Mazowieckie, who run the KM7 services from Warszawa Zachodnia to Dęblin and by Szybka Kolej Miejska, who run the S1 services from Pruszków PKP to Otwock.

Olszynka Grochowska is a subdistrict located in northern part of Praga-Południe, in south-east Warsaw. The subdistrict is mostly a forest area. Home to a nature reserve. Railway station is also located here. The area is commonly recognised due to the Battle of Olszynka Grochowska which took place on 25 February 1831 during the November Uprising.

Marsa Street is a road located in Warsaw, Poland. It is the main road from the center and eastern part of the city towards Sulejówek, Okuniew, Liw and Węgrów, as well as Nieporęt, Zegrze and Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki. It crosses the railway tracks twice and ends at the Warszawa Rembertów railway station. Most of the street runs through a wooded area of the Kawęczyn nature reserve and the Rembertów Forest. In the part from Ignacy Mościcki Roundabout to Rekrucka Street it is a dual carriageway, and then to Cyrulików Street is a single-carriageway with one lane in each direction.

Wygoda is a neighbourhood, in the city of Warsaw, Poland, located within the district of Rembertów, in the Municipal Information System area of Kawęczyn-Wygoda.

Grochów is a district of Warsaw, officially part of the borough of Praga-Południe although not connected at all to historical "Praga" district. It is one of the most notable residential areas of right-bank Warsaw. There are many blocks of flats, as well as many pre-WWI houses. Grochów is nicknamed "the lungs of Warsaw", owing to its many green spaces. Despite plans made by the former Communist authorities, Grochów had not transformed into strictly industrial district, even though it had been such in the 19th century.

Grochowska Street is a major road located in the Praga Południe district of Warsaw, Poland. Since November 1, 1925, a tram route has run along Grochowska Street. Currently trams and many bus lines connect Praga with Śródmieście, Wola, Rembertów and Wawer.
