Leet Hill, Kirby Cane is a 6.5-hectare (16-acre) geological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Kirby Cane in Norfolk. It is a Geological Conservation Review site.This is a quarry which has a sequence of deposits dating to the Middle Pleistocene, with the base of gravels laid down by a confluence to two rivers, above that glacial gravels, and then a sequence of chalky sands probably also laid down by glaciers.The site is a working quarry and there is no public access.

Geldeston Meadows is a 14-hectare (35-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest near Geldeston in Norfolk. It is part of the Broadland Ramsar site and Special Protection Area, and The Broads Special Area of Conservation.These traditionally managed meadows in the flood plain of the River Waveney have a very diverse flora. Most of the site is wet grassland which is dominated by sweet vernal grass, common quaking grass and crested dog's-tail.The site is private land with no public access.

Geldeston (also Geldeston Halt) was a station on the Waveney Valley Line serving the village of Geldeston, Norfolk. It was operational for passenger services between 1863 and 1953, before closing completely in 1964. It was the penultimate station on the line, and the last in Norfolk as the line crossed the border into Suffolk before the junction station of Beccles. The station still exists today and can easily be found in Geldeston.

St Andrew's Church is the parish church of Raveningham in Norfolk, England, and in the Diocese of Norwich. It is a round-tower church, dating mostly from the medieval period. The building is Grade II* listed.

On 13 March 2014, an AgustaWestland AW139 helicopter of Haughey Air crashed shortly after taking off at night in fog from Gillingham, Norfolk, United Kingdom, killing all four people on board. Among the victims was Edward Haughey, Baron Ballyedmond. The subsequent investigation concluded that the flight crew may have been subject to somatogravic illusion due to the lack of external visual cues, inducing them to manoeuvre the aircraft into the ground instead of climbing away.

Raveningham Hall is a country house in Norfolk, England, about 10 miles (16 km) south-east of Norwich. There are 10 acres of gardens, and it has a rural estate of 5,500 acres. It is home to Sir Nicholas Bacon, 14th and 15th Baronet, and his family.The hall is a Grade II* listed building, listed on 25 September 1951.

Kirby Cane is a scattered village and civil parish centred 3.8 miles (6.1 km) west northwest of Beccles and 2.7 miles (4.3 km) northeast of Bungay. It is in south-east Norfolk. It housed 375 people in 152 households as at 2001 – then 434 in 179 households at the 2011 Census, the increase in households being almost 18% – unusually large for England. Its north-eastern neighbourhood is often known as Kirby Green. The most populous part is often known as Kirby Row, which is 0.3 miles (0.48 km) from the heart of Ellingham, Norfolk and which is, narrowly, mainly in that parish – whether taken in its historical borders or on its similar boundaries of today. The land drains gently south to the Waveney which is the border with Suffolk. Further north of its isolated church and its small smattering of houses is Wash Lane which leads to the A146 road (between Norwich and Beccles). The church is 12.4 miles (20.0 km) from Norwich in the centre of the county.

It covers an area of 1,990 acres (810 ha) and had a population of 157 in 61 households at the 2001 census, the population increasing to 162 at the 2011 Census.Raveningham is mentioned in the Domesday Book as one of the settlements in Clavering hundred. Raveningham Hall is the home of Sir Nicholas and Lady Bacon: Raveningham Hall Gardens are open to the public once a year as part of the National Gardens Scheme. Located within the premises is St Andrews church, one of 124 existing round-tower churches in Norfolk.

Hales is a small village in Norfolk, England. It covers an area of 3.99 km2 (1.54 sq mi) and had a population of 479 in 192 households as of the 2001 census, which had reduced to 469 at the 2011 census.
