Rothenburg (High Alemannic: Rooteborg) is a municipality in the district of Hochdorf in the canton of Lucerne in Switzerland.

Emmenbrücke Gersag railway station (German: Bahnhof Emmenbrücke Gersag) is a railway station in the municipality of Emmen, in the Swiss canton of Lucerne. It is located at the junction of the standard gauge Olten–Lucerne and Seetal lines of Swiss Federal Railways.

Stadion Gersag is a stadium in Emmenbrücke, Luzern, Switzerland. It is currently used for football matches and is the home ground of FC Emmenbrücke. The stadium has 3,195 covered seats and 4,785 standing places. It is the home stadium of FC Emmenbrücke and from 2009-2011 has been the temporary stadium of FC Luzern whilst their home stadium, the Swissporarena, is built. FC Luzern supporters enjoyed their time in the stadium, even naming it as the 5th best thing about supporting the club and so have made a scarf as a tribute to their time there.There has been talk of Grasshopper Club Zürich moving into the Gersag stadium as they seek a home for the 2011-12 season. GC current pay 2.7 million CHF and would find the 570,000CHF rent that FCL currently pay to be a more attractive price.

Rothenburg Station railway station (German: Bahnhof Rothenburg Station) is a railway station in the municipality of Rothenburg, in the Swiss canton of Lucerne. It is an intermediate stop on the standard gauge Olten–Lucerne line of Swiss Federal Railways. Until the December 2022 timetable change, the station was named Rothenburg. It is located south-west of the village of Rothenburg.

The Kleine Emme is a river of the canton of Lucerne, Switzerland, a left tributary of the Reuss extending for 58 km, draining a basin of 477 km². It is not to be confused with the Emme of the canton of Berne. The Kleine Emme rises as the Waldemme in the southwestern corner of the canton of Obwalden, in the Brienzer Rothorn massif at the Emmensprung, flowing north-west along the Mariental, past Sörenberg. Turning north, it enters the Entlebuch region, where it is joined by the Weissemme near Schüpfheim and by the Entlen at Entlebuch. After receiving the Fontannen, it turns to the east at Wolhusen where it is joined by the Wigger and later by the Rümlig. From here, it flows parallel to the Pilatus chain, past Malters, joining the Reuss at Emmen, 2 km downstream of Lake Lucerne.

Littau railway station (German: Bahnhof Littau) is a railway station in the locality of Littau, within the municipality of Lucerne, in the Swiss canton of Lucerne. It is an intermediate stop on the standard gauge Bern–Lucerne line of Swiss Federal Railways.

Littau is a former municipality, and now part of the city of Lucerne, in the district of Lucerne in the canton of Lucerne in Switzerland. On 1 January 2010 the municipality of Littau merged into the municipality of Lucerne.

The Château Gütsch is a historic château in Lucerne, Switzerland. In 1859, Burkhard Pfyffer bought a plot of land on the Gütsch hill from the town and was granted the right to run an inn. The inn was then bought by Ignaz Businger in 1879 and expanded into a hotel. Like many hotels of the Belle Epoque, The Château Gütsch was built on a vantage point above lakes, rivers, and cities, in this case the city Lucerne and the river Reuss. The Château was built in 1884 specifically to support the hotel. In 1868 Queen Victoria stayed at a site near the hotel with Prince Arthur and Princess Louise.As part of a significant transalpine railroad development and modernization plan in Switzerland in the second half of the 19th century, a railline was built connecting Lucerne to the château.A large part of the hotel was completely destroyed in the great fire of 1888. In 1901 the hotel received its present appearance, being modelled after Neuschwanstein in Bavaria.It was purchased by Evgeny Lebedev in 2012, who commissioned Martyn Lawrence Bullard to renovate it.The current owner is Kirill Androsov.

The Gütsch Funicular, also known as the Drahtseilbahn Gütsch (DBG) or simply the Gütschbahn, is a funicular railway in the city of Lucerne in the Swiss canton of Lucerne. The line links a lower station located on Baselstrasse, some 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) west of the centre of the city, with an upper station adjacent to the Château Gütsch hotel, 90 m above. The Château Gütsch was constructed between 1881 and 1883 on a site overlooking the city of Lucerne and modelled on the architecture of Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria. In order to link the hotel to the city, the water-powered Gütschbahn funicular was opened on 22 August 1884. The line continued operating until 21 April 2008, when service ceased until further notice. After rebuilding, the line reopened on 26 September 2015.In its current guise the line is operated by Verkehrsbetriebe Luzern, the city's transport operator, and is integrated into zone 10 of the city's integrated fare system. It has the following parameters:
