Emmenbrücke railway station (German: Bahnhof Emmenbrücke) is a railway station in the municipality of Emmen, in the Swiss canton of Lucerne. It is an intermediate stop on the standard gauge Olten–Lucerne and Seetal lines of Swiss Federal Railways.

Stadion Gersag is a stadium in Emmenbrücke, Luzern, Switzerland. It is currently used for football matches and is the home ground of FC Emmenbrücke. The stadium has 3,195 covered seats and 4,785 standing places. It is the home stadium of FC Emmenbrücke and from 2009-2011 has been the temporary stadium of FC Luzern whilst their home stadium, the Swissporarena, is built. FC Luzern supporters enjoyed their time in the stadium, even naming it as the 5th best thing about supporting the club and so have made a scarf as a tribute to their time there.There has been talk of Grasshopper Club Zürich moving into the Gersag stadium as they seek a home for the 2011-12 season. GC current pay 2.7 million CHF and would find the 570,000CHF rent that FCL currently pay to be a more attractive price.

The Château Gütsch is a historic château in Lucerne, Switzerland. In 1859, Burkhard Pfyffer bought a plot of land on the Gütsch hill from the town and was granted the right to run an inn. The inn was then bought by Ignaz Businger in 1879 and expanded into a hotel. Like many hotels of the Belle Epoque, The Château Gütsch was built on a vantage point above lakes, rivers, and cities, in this case the city Lucerne and the river Reuss. The Château was built in 1884 specifically to support the hotel. In 1868 Queen Victoria stayed at a site near the hotel with Prince Arthur and Princess Louise.As part of a significant transalpine railroad development and modernization plan in Switzerland in the second half of the 19th century, a railline was built connecting Lucerne to the château.A large part of the hotel was completely destroyed in the great fire of 1888. In 1901 the hotel received its present appearance, being modelled after Neuschwanstein in Bavaria.It was purchased by Evgeny Lebedev in 2012, who commissioned Martyn Lawrence Bullard to renovate it.The current owner is Kirill Androsov.

The Gütsch Funicular, also known as the Drahtseilbahn Gütsch (DBG) or simply the Gütschbahn, is a funicular railway in the city of Lucerne in the Swiss canton of Lucerne. The line links a lower station located on Baselstrasse, some 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) west of the centre of the city, with an upper station adjacent to the Château Gütsch hotel, 90 m above. The Château Gütsch was constructed between 1881 and 1883 on a site overlooking the city of Lucerne and modelled on the architecture of Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria. In order to link the hotel to the city, the water-powered Gütschbahn funicular was opened on 22 August 1884. The line continued operating until 21 April 2008, when service ceased until further notice. After rebuilding, the line reopened on 26 September 2015.In its current guise the line is operated by Verkehrsbetriebe Luzern, the city's transport operator, and is integrated into zone 10 of the city's integrated fare system. Natur-Museum Luzern or Lucerne Nature Museum is a museum in the Swiss city of Lucerne. It is situated on Kasernenplatz, beside the river Reuss and the Spreuerbrücke. Exhibits in the museum include stuffed animals, minerals/crystals, and insects. The museum is open Tuesday to Sunday and there is a fee for entry.The stated goals of the museum translate as 'presenting natural history information to the public, maintaining and presenting collections and increasing awareness of nature and the environment'. There are three floors and three permanent exhibitions: "Erdwissenschaften" (earth sciences), "Biologie" (biology) and "Wunderwelt Insekten" (the amazing world of insects).Temporary exhibitions have included nature photography and live animals.

Besides the other preserved bridge, the Kapellbrücke, a third bridge of this type – the Hofbrücke – existed in Lucerne, but was demolished in the 19th century.

Reichmuth & Co is a Swiss private bank that was founded in Luzern, Switzerland, in 1988. It was the first private bank created in Switzerland in 80 years. Its general partners are Karl Reichmuth (President, since 1996), Christof Reichmuth (CEO and CIO; Karl Reichmuth's son), and Juerg Staub. As of 2012, it was one of 12 unlimited liability bank members listed by the Swiss Private Bankers Association. It is a prominent major player among Swiss hedge funds.Through its Reichmuth Matterhorn fund, it lost $330 million in four hedge funds invested with Bernie Madoff. In December 2008, the fund totaled approximately $3.9 billion, according to chief executive officer Christof Reichmuth, who said: "It’s unbelievable that no auditor, no administrator, no fund manager noticed this fraud. We will have to wait to find out how that was possible." The Lucerne Jesuit Church is a Catholic church in Lucerne, Switzerland. It is the first large Baroque church built in Switzerland north of the Alps. The Jesuit order, founded by Ignatius of Loyola in 1534, were active participants in the Counter-Reformation, the Catholic fight against the birth of Protestantism. Protestant reformers such as Zwingli in Zurich and Calvin in Geneva divided the predominantly Catholic Switzerland. In response, the Jesuits were called in to Lucerne by the city council in 1573 to establish a college. Ludwig Pfyffer, mayor of Lucerne, offered annual financial support to the Jesuits out of his private funds. The Jesuit College of Lucerne was established in 1577 in Ritter Palace, a building originally erected in 1557 as a residence for mayor Lux Ritter. Construction on the associated church began in 1667. By 1673 the shell of the church and the main façade were completed. The church was consecrated in 1677, though the interior was not yet really finished. Several side altars were still missing and even the high altar was only erected four years later, due to financial problems. The onion topped towers were not completed until 1893. The vault was redecorated in the mid-18th century. The original vestments of Brother Klaus, a famous Swiss patron, are stored in the inner chapel.
