55 Marietta Street, formerly the Fulton National Bank Building and the Bank South Building is a 21-story, 89.9 m (295 ft) office building in Atlanta, Georgia. It was the tallest building in the city when completed in 1958 until surpassed by One Park Tower in 1961. 55 Marietta Street is the site of the U.S. Post Office and Customs House (built 1878), which served from 1910 to 1930 as City Hall (demolished 1930s)

The U.S Post Office and Customs House in Atlanta (also Atlanta's City Hall from 1910 to 1930) was a landmark building located on Marietta Street, occupying the block bounded by Marietta, Fairlie, Walton and Forsyth streets in the Fairlie-Poplar district of Downtown Atlanta. The building opened in 1878. In 1910 the City acquired the building and it was used as the Atlanta City Hall until 1930, after which it was razed. The lot was rebuilt in 1958 as the Fulton National Bank building, now the 55 Marietta Street building.

Walton Place is a historic 1907 building at 75 Marietta Street in downtown Atlanta, Georgia. It was originally the Georgia Railway and Power Building. The architect was John Robert Dillon. Restoration took place in 1988.

Five Points Plaza, also known as 40 Marietta Street and formerly known as First Federal Building, is a 17 story, 73 m (240 ft) office building skyscraper in Atlanta, Georgia. The building was constructed in 1964 to house headquarters of the First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Atlanta. Noted for an Oriental architectural design that stands out in Atlanta, the building is devoid of interior columns, making it one of the tallest post-tensioned concrete buildings in the United States at the time of its construction. Five Points Plaza is fully leased to the Atlanta offices of the Department of Housing and Urban Development through 2019.

The W. D. Grant Building (also formerly known as the Prudential Building) is a historic building in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Located in the Fairlie-Poplar district in downtown Atlanta, the building was built in 1898 and is among the oldest steel structure buildings in the Southeastern United States. The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

The Metropolitan is a condominium building at 20 Marietta Street NW at the southeast corner of Broad Street in the Five Points district of Downtown Atlanta. It was built in 1908 as the Third National Bank Building And is Atlanta's first skyscraper. It was later the Atlanta Federal Savings and Loan Building, and in the 1960s was resurfaced with dark glass. It was converted into condominiums in 1996.

The Elbert P. Tuttle U.S. Court of Appeals Building, also known as U.S. Post Office and Courthouse, is a historic Renaissance Revival style courthouse located in the Fairlie-Poplar district of Downtown Atlanta in Fulton County, Georgia. It is the courthouse for the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Its role as the first courthouse in which many key cases of the Civil Rights Movement were heard had it listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. It was listed as a contributing building in the Fairlie Poplar Historic District in 1984. It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2015.

101 Marietta Street, formerly Centennial Tower, is a 140 m (460 ft), 36-story skyscraper in downtown Atlanta, Georgia. The building was completed in 1975 and renovated in 1998, resulting in a name change, new facade, and chevrons added to the building which increased its original 136 m (446 ft) height by 4 m (13 ft). The property is considered a class "A" office building consisting of 600,000 square feet.The U.S. Census Bureau has its Atlanta regional office in Centennial Tower.

The State Bar of Georgia Building is located at 104 Marietta St. NW in Downtown Atlanta. The building opened in 1918, and was designed by A. Ten Eyck Brown, one of the most notable architects of public buildings in Atlanta in the first third of the 20th century. It was originally occupied by the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta before the bank moved to Midtown Atlanta in 2001 and is now occupied by the State Bar of Georgia.A marker in front of the building identifies the location of the original site of the zero milepost of the terminus of the Western and Atlantic Railroad, and of the first settlement of Atlanta (then named Thrasherville).Prior to the construction of the Federal Reserve building, the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta occupied the site. The first church on the site was built in 1852, replaced by a more ornate structure in 1878, which was demolished in 1916. The church moved to Peachtree at 16th in Midtown Atlanta.

The Union Station built in 1930 in Atlanta was the smaller of two principal train stations in downtown, Terminal Station being the other (the latter served Southern Railway, Seaboard Air Line, Central of Georgia (including the Nancy Hanks to Savannah), and the Atlanta and West Point). It was the third "union station" or "union depot" (usage varied in the 19th century), succeeding the 1853 station, burned in mid-November 1864 when Federal forces left Atlanta for the March to the Sea, and the 1871 station.

Mack Robinson College of Business Administration Building is a 14-story highrise at the corner of Broad and Marietta streets in the Fairlie-Poplar district of downtown Atlanta, which houses the business school of Georgia State University. When completed in 1901 as the Empire Building, it was the first steel-frame structure and the tallest in the city, until surpassed by the Candler Building in 1906.Morgan & Dillon and Hentz, Adler & Shutze were architects. In 1972, while named the Citizens & Southern National Bank Building, the structure was added to the National Register of Historic Places.The ground floor houses a full-service Bank of America branch. NationsBank purchased Citizens & Southern National Bank in 1991, and after later acquiring BankAmerica Corp., it, along with its branches, was renamed Bank of America. The building doubled as the Illinois First Federal Savings & Loan association building in the 2016 film The Founder, a biopic of Ray Kroc starring Michael Keaton.

Downtown Atlanta is the central business district of Atlanta, Georgia, United States. The larger of the city's two other commercial districts (Midtown and Buckhead), it is the location of many corporate and regional headquarters; city, county, state, and federal government facilities; Georgia State University; sporting venues; and most of Atlanta's tourist attractions. It measures approximately four square miles, and had 26,700 residents as of 2010. Similar to other central business districts in the United States, it has recently undergone a transformation that includes the construction of new condos and lofts, renovation of historic buildings, and arrival of new residents and businesses.
